RUSH: Can you believe the Fourth of July is coming up next week? I mean, when Memorial Day was here, I didn\u2019t believe it. When Mother\u2019s Day got here, I didn\u2019t believe it. Father\u2019s Day too. It\u2019s July 4th already. Well, here\u2019s the thing about July 4th. We have a little bit of a special here coming up at our new store at RushLimbaugh.com.<\/a> We\u2019ve opened up… We\u2019ve restocked it. You know, I, frankly, folks, am embarrassed to admit. I let it slide — I mean, for years — and I don\u2019t want to go into a whole bunch of reasons why.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s just that, for example, when it came to getting polo shirts. The kind of shirts I like, the manufacturer said, “Well, we can\u2019t guarantee that it\u2019s gonna be manufactured three months from now.” So we had to buy stock stuff that, frankly, made people look like tents, and it just… You know, I\u2019ve been nervous about selling stuff anyway along those lines. So we just kind of let it languish, and by popular demand… People started demanding the stuff be updated. So we redesigned it. We restocked it. We\u2019ve got the best…<\/p>\n

These New Era caps are just going like gangbusters. It warms my heart that people appreciate the quality. That\u2019s one of my personal demands that we get caps made by New Era. New Era is the manufacturer of Major League Baseball caps for, I don\u2019t know, a hundred years. I mean, they\u2019ve been around forever, and they\u2019re the best quality caps. These are not the same caps. These are sizable. But you\u2019re not gonna find a better at this price point. It\u2019s the same thing with the polo shirts. Anyway, we\u2019ve been be up and running here for a couple of weeks.<\/p>\n

In honor of Independence Day, we\u2019re offering a little special deal to recognize the new store. The first five days were free shipping. It\u2019s real simple. You do this anyway. My signature is on the bottom of the little bear feet. It\u2019s cute. It\u2019s got the American flag stitched on one paw, my signature on the other. I do have one sitting in the library at home. Remember, some of the proceeds for the new online store benefit the Marine Corps-Law Enforcement Foundation<\/a>, which provides college scholarships for the children of Marines killed in action. These are the children of our fallen heroes. So the offer is good through Wednesday night — Midnight Eastern — or while supplies of the Rush bear last. And you can see a picture of it.
