CALLER: Thanks, Rush. Well, I never imagined that I would ever be able to say that I was right and you were wrong. Boomer Sooner, Rush.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Wait a second. Did I make a prediction?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, you rooted for the Tigers.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I did. I mean, rooted, but I didn\u2019t come out and make a prediction.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Okay.<\/p>\n

RUSH: You see how eager people are to have me proclaimed to be wrong about something?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, it was one of those things I mentioned to my husband, I said, ‘He\u2019s rooting for the Tigers.\u2019 And I went, ‘Wait a minute, he\u2019s from Missouri.\u2019<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yeah.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I can be okay with that.<\/p>\n

RUSH: My whole family except me went to the University of Missouri.<\/p>\n

CALLER: See, and I\u2019m the only one that didn\u2019t go to OU.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yep. But you\u2019re a native Oklahoman?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yeah, I\u2019m from Norman, and I\u2019m the strange one. I\u2019m the one that actually went to OSU.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, you know, you guys, I understand you\u2019re gloating and all that, but understand something, Missouri guys, they go to class.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Touch&eacute;.<\/p>\n

RUSH: (laughter) Gotcha, Sarah, gotcha. (laughter) <\/p>\n

CALLER: Yeah, love you, Rush, I really do. And I have to tell you that my kids even adore you. My seven-year-old, this is the first year, her seventh birthday was the first year she didn\u2019t ask me to invite you to her birthday party.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Is that right? Well, that\u2019s sweet.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yeah.<\/p>\n

RUSH: That is so sweet. This program spans all demographics, all age-groups, all religions, all three sexes. I mean we\u2019re everywhere, no boundaries.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, and we home school, and so periodically she takes a break and sits and watches you on the Dittocam on the computer.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, look, I appreciate that. Look, congratulations to the Sooners. They played a great game. I watched it Saturday night. I was befuddled by the play calling, particularly the first half, I was befuddled by what happened to the Missouri offensive line throughout the whole game. And, of course, if you\u2019re going to win a national championship, you gotta have a power running back. Their red zone performance was just disappointing. I mean you got first and goal from the six, you end up fourth and 14, fourth and goal from the 14 or 16 yard old, they couldn\u2019t move it in the red zone. They had a chance to win the game on numerous occasions really before they lost it. Congratulations to Oklahoma. It was a great game for them. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
