CALLER: Oh God, you\u2019re a unique guy, man. That\u2019s not a compliment; it\u2019s not an insult. But, look, I listened to your show for like the last two or three months, man, and I can never get through. I got through today. You quickly show — play sound bites of all this stuff that the Democrats have said and done. I\u2019m not going to knock it. Some of it was idiotic. <\/p>\n

RUSH: Hey —<\/p>\n

CALLER: No, no, hold on — you failed — you have not one time —<\/p>\n

RUSH: Moe! <\/p>\n

CALLER: — played anything about the Republicans.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Moe! <\/p>\n

CALLER: You guys talk about the war — hold on, hold on, hold on, let me finish. I knew you were going to cut me off, because that\u2019s what you do, Rush.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Moe, I can\u2019t understand you! I want you to slow down. <\/p>\n

CALLER: Oh, okay.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I don\u2019t cut people off.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Okay. Okay, well, listen to me —<\/p>\n

RUSH: If you\u2019ve listened for three months, you should know that, at least.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Okay. Well, check it out, baby. I know I talk fast, or you might listen a little slower than I talk, baby, but we\u2019re —<\/p>\n

RUSH: Check it out, whatever. Slow down.<\/p>\n

CALLER: All right. Well, listen to me. You\u2019re quick to play sound bites on the Democrats and all the dumb stuff they say and done. I\u2019m not knocking that. But you have not one time played anything on Condoleezza\u2019s court trial, when she was brought up on charges for not letting the American people know about the 9\/11 incident. She was warned six months, three months, and three weeks before it happened. Before you cut me off. Now, the funny part is, you\u2019re quick to say that the Republicans didn\u2019t know about it. Well, two weeks before they went down, Cheney bought insurance on the World Trade Center. Now, him being in the circle that he was in, you think Bush didn\u2019t buy insurance on it? You think Condoleezza didn\u2019t buy insurance on it? You got all these people out here thinking that the Democrats are the bad ones, while you guys are the ones who — I\u2019m not saying you, but Bush and them are the ones who didn\u2019t let anybody know. Now, if they\u2019d have told some people that there is a possibility that these planes were going to be hijacked and rammed into buildings, do you think they would have flown? Do you think they would have flown? They couldn\u2019t tell them, because this is the reason why we got to go to war. Now, don\u2019t say (unintelligible) but we\u2019re gonna get insurance on it. We\u2019re going to get insurance on the buildings just in case they happen to go down. So when you say that they didn\u2019t know about it, dude, they knew about it. They knew about it six months before it happened. When she was on trial, that guy that was — again, whoever it was, the prosecutor socked it to her. He read back the memo she had on her desk. He asked her, ‘What part is not important enough to alert the American people?\u2019 <\/p>\n

RUSH: Moe?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Answer that for me.<\/p>\n

RUSH: A question.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Question?<\/p>\n

RUSH: A question before I answer this.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Okay.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I want to make sure I understood, because you were rapid-fire there. You got a lot of passion. I like that in you, Moe. Passionate callers, they could be saying the stupidest things in the world, but if they\u2019re doing it with passion, people will listen to it. Now, did you say that Cheney bought insurance?<\/p>\n

CALLER: On the World Trade Centers, two weeks before they went down. Don\u2019t sound like you don\u2019t know that. You\u2019re not saying that —<\/p>\n

RUSH: I\u2019m trying to figure out… What kind of insurance did he buy?<\/p>\n

CALLER: He bought insurance on the World Trade Centers, on the buildings. He bought insurance on the buildings. It\u2019s all over, and it\u2019s out there. That was out as soon as it happened.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Moe, I didn\u2019t know this could be done, but if he bought insurance —<\/p>\n

CALLER: Come on, dude! You knew that. You knew that, Rush. You\u2019re too smart for that, Rush. <\/p>\n

RUSH: Moe. (laughing)<\/p>\n

CALLER: Now my thinking is — you think Bush and Condoleezza didn\u2019t do it, man?<\/p>\n

RUSH: Condoleezza\u2019s never been in a court trial.<\/p>\n

CALLER: She didn\u2019t put no insurance…?<\/p>\n

RUSH: Would you answer the question? I\u2019ve got 45 seconds left before I gotta take a break.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Okay.<\/p>\n

RUSH: If you buy insurance on a building and it goes down —<\/p>\n

CALLER: You get paid. You get paid off what you put on the insurance on it, dude, like parts on a car.<\/p>\n

RUSH: How could a private citizen buy insurance on buildings owned by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, New York City and New York State?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Oh, you\u2019re telling me he didn\u2019t? I gotta send it to you? I gotta send you the article that\u2019s been online forever? Everybody knows this.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Was it from a website on Mars?<\/p>\n

CALLER: A website from Mars? Is that what you said?<\/p>\n

RUSH: Your article that you\u2019re going to send me that proves this?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Ah, come on, Rush. Okay — <\/p>\n

RUSH: Moe? Moe? <\/p>\n

CALLER: — you\u2019re playing dumb. You play dumb on some stuff, Rush. You know it. You know it like everybody else knew it, man.<\/p>\n

RUSH: We\u2019re outta at a time. I\u2019m trying, folks. It was hopeless. <\/p>\n

BREAK TRANSCRIPT<\/p>\n

RUSH: Mike, I want you to go grab just a snippet — any snippet, like just a minute, minute and a half — of Moe\u2019s call, because I think I know some things about this guy and I want to point out a couple of other things, too. Do that during the break and we\u2019ll review it.<\/p>\n

BREAK TRANSCRIPT<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, Moe, if you\u2019re still out there, I was afraid of this. I was afraid this was going to happen, and our hands are tied here. There\u2019s really nothing we can do now. Ah, jeez… Greetings, my friends, and welcome back. Rush Limbaugh, the Excellence in Broadcasting Network, fastest three hours in media. We are at 800-282-2882, and the e-mail address, Rush@eibnet.com. We have one rule here, folks: ‘I say it, and you believe it.\u2019 All right. If you\u2019re just joining us and you missed the final call of the previous hour, the call lasted about four minutes or so. I asked the broadcast engineer in New York, Mike, to just give me a snippet of it, because as I say, I was afraid of this. I tried to stop him, but he was intent on shouting over me because he, like a lot of people on the left, believed that I would cut him off. So, folks, the FBI profiles, and we profile. There\u2019s a lot to learn about Moe, even in just a one-minute-and-43-second snippet of his call.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Okay, that\u2019s Moe from Columbus, Ohio. Let me profile Moe. We know that Moe obviously went to the public schools. We know that Moe was passed in every grade. I also wouldn\u2019t be surprised to learn that Moe plays for the Baltimore Ravens. But here\u2019s the bad thing. Moe, you have done it. You have let the secret out. Nobody knew about Condoleezza and Cheney buying insurance on the World Trade Center buildings. Nobody knew that. You had to call here and you had to divulge that. Moe, there are ways the government can get us, and in this case, we have heard from them. It\u2019s called the Patriot Act. Government authorities have already contacted us asking us for a copy of your call. People have been working real hard, Moe, to keep what you blabbed to the whole country here, secret. Condoleezza was in a court trial, and she and Cheney bought insurance weeks before the World Trade Center was exploded by the terrorists on 9\/11. <\/p>\n

So I did my best, but hey, Moe, when they call us, we have to turn it over. It\u2019s the Patriot Act. You know, warrantless searches and wiretaps. They know where you are. They know you\u2019re in Columbus. There aren\u2019t a whole lot of Moes in Columbus. I don\u2019t think you should run. I don\u2019t think there\u2019s anywhere to go. There\u2019s nowhere to hide. If they can find out six months in advance that we\u2019re going to get blown up by terrorists and they know about it, let it happen, and go buy insurance on the buildings, they\u2019ve got voice recognition equipment, Moe, that you would not even understand or believe. They have ways of breaking down via sine curves, disgronificators, any number of pieces of equipment, every aspect of your voice — your inflection, everything. It\u2019s not a good thing, Moe, that you did. I didn\u2019t want to play this segment once I found out. We got the call during the break from the authorities. I\u2019m a little shaken. Broadcast affiliates, I\u2019m going to take the break early. Board ops, please stand by, because we\u2019re going to the first break early, because I am shaken. Damn it, nobody was supposed to know that! What did you put him on the air for, Snerdley?<\/p>\n

BREAK TRANSCRIPT<\/p>\n

RUSH: Moe, one more thing. Since you\u2019ve blown the whistle on this whole insurance scam of Cheney and Condoleezza Rice, I may as well tell you something else that you may not know, since you\u2019ve blown this up and everybody now knows about it. You, sir, Moe, are a candidate for waterboarding. I understand that Cheney has expanded it to domestic threats, and you, Moe, have definitely qualified. Now, you constitute a domestic threat with your inability to keep secrets. Nobody will be interested in how you found out about it, Moe. Well, they will be, actually. That\u2019s where the waterboarding comes in. The only people happy about this, Moe, are the insurance companies, since you\u2019ve blown the whistle on Condi\u2019s scam. They\u2019re not going to have to pay her the $5 billion in insurance she took out on the World Trade Center. Maybe not Cheney, either. So, Moe, you have caused a lot of people to lose (perhaps, maybe) a lot of money here. Some people just don\u2019t know when to shut up. I tried! I did everything I could, but he wouldn\u2019t listen, and since we don\u2019t cut people off…<\/p>\n

CALLER: Thanks for having me, Rush. Mega dittos.<\/p>\n

RUSH: You bet.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I just called in reaction to Moe. I\u2019m one of those tired folks out there just exhausted with people like Moe getting airtime, I guess, and having the confidence, even though they\u2019re — you know, and I disagree with you on this over the years. You\u2019ve talked about the American people in general being intelligent, and I see it less and less every day. I\u2019m just exhausted with the American people and how stupid we can be as a nation.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, it would be very dangerous to associate even a majority of the American people with the thought processes expressed by the wonderful Moe from Columbus, Ohio. You can\u2019t really think — I mean, we do know that 35% of the Democrat Party in polls have said they believe Bush knew about 9\/11 before it happened, which means that they have to believe he let it happen. Thirty-five percent of Democrats. That doesn\u2019t surprise me. Let me ask you a serious question here, John.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yeah?<\/p>\n

RUSH: I\u2019m dead serious about this, now. It\u2019s more a psychological question. I\u2019m sure that you\u2019ve driven around and you\u2019ve seen bumper stickers on the backs of certain kind of liberal cars like vans and so forth that say ‘9\/11 was an inside job,\u2019 or ‘No blood for oil,\u2019 or any one of these various conspiracy theories that they believe.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Sure.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Do you actually think…? Now, I\u2019m being very serious. This is not a setup. Do you actually think they believe it? Do you think that they believe these conspiracy theories that they espouse? See, I don\u2019t. I\u2019m speaking psychologically. If they really believed this stuff — what they\u2019re saying is, if it were true — action is required. If the government in fact blew up the World Trade Centers, for whatever reason, if they actually did it, if these people actually believe that the administration is spying on them and monitoring their phone calls, if they actually think that Bush lied about everything to go into Iraq, don\u2019t you think that there would be far more public demands and protests in the streets on the part of these people for redress and to stop it? These are really, really serious allegations, and I don\u2019t think they believe it. I think that they are just deranged. I think that they need something to give their lives meaning. They need something to believe and say to stand out. We\u2019ve always had conspiracy theorists among us. I\u2019ve been exposed to countless numbers of them my whole life. But I don\u2019t think they all really believe it, because their actions do not betray the fact that they really believe it. They just like running around spouting it.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I don\u2019t know. I think there\u2019s a huge portion that do believe it, and thank God they\u2019re lazy, and they won\u2019t take it further than the bumper sticker on their car.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Here\u2019s the real scary thing, John. This is what everybody needs to know. You all heard Moe\u2019s call. The Democrat Party is going to be dropping gobs of money to find the Moes in this country and get \u2019em to the polls in November of \u201908. The Democrats will be spending untold amounts of money to find these people and give \u2019em transportation to the polls, and they will be furthering their conspiracy beliefs, whatever it takes. And that\u2019s the real thing. You know, it\u2019s just like a family. Every family has a bunch of oddballs, anything like it. Well, look at this country. You know there have to be a significant number, a pretty large percentage of what we would call oddballs, as long as we set the baseline for normal as being people like you and me. We hope there are more of us than there are of them, and there\u2019s no question that there are.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I hope you\u2019re right. I hope you\u2019re right.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Don\u2019t doubt me.<\/p>\n

RUSH: All right, we have found, ladies and gentlemen, the root of the conspiracy theory believed by Moe from Columbus, Ohio. Found it at Wikipedia. ‘Critics often argue that the difficulty of preparing the building for demolition without being noticed makes controlled demolition implausible.\u2019 See? The first conspiracy theory was that, ‘Yeah, the planes hit the towers, but that\u2019s not what brought \u2019em down. Bush and Cheney brought \u2019em down! A secret government unit prepared these buildings for implosion because of the way the buildings fell, they had to implode. They didn\u2019t go over like that just because the airplanes hit \u2019em, because fire doesn\u2019t melt steel.\u2019 Ahem, ahem. Hello, Rosie O\u2019Donnell. That, of course, ties in with the fact that Bush and Cheney knew all this was going to happen before it did, giving them time to rig the building for implosion. ‘However, the difficulty of preparing the building for demolition without it being noticed makes controlled demolition implausible,\u2019 so they had to give that up. Some of them haven\u2019t, but some of them had to give up that theory. <\/p>\n

Now, ‘proponents of the demolition theory sometimes point out that between 1993 and 2000, Marvin Bush, the brother of President Bush, was on the board of directors of Securacom, which is a company that provided security for the World Trade Center. According to its present CEO, Barry McDaniel, the company had an ongoing contract to handle security at the World Trade Center up to the day the buildings fell down, quote, unquote.\u2019 This last statement has been used by some conspiracy theorists to say that the contract expired on September 11th, 2001. What the CEO said, was, yeah, we had insurance on the building, but when it stopped being a building, we didn\u2019t have any insurance on it, or security. We handled security up to the day the buildings fell. Security admits this, but the conspiracy theorists say that is to say that the contract expired on September 11th, meaning that the company knew the building was going to go down. ‘Mr. Bush was also former director and is now an advisor to the board of directors to a firm called HCC Insurance Holdings which had what it called a small participation in the World Trade Center property insurance coverage and some of the surrounding buildings.\u2019 So that\u2019s where it all comes from. A security agency, Marvin Bush, the board of directors, had a contract up until the day the buildings went down, so they have extrapolated that to mean it expired, and then Mr. Bush was also a former director of the company that did some property insurance for the region. So that\u2019s where this stuff starts. <\/p>\n

This stuff… In order for people to believe this — psychologically, for people to believe this kind of thing — they have to have something wrong with them elsewhere. There has to be something missing in their lives. There has to be something that\u2019s irrational already in place for this kind of stuff to take hold. This pales in comparison to, I think, the most outrageously hilarious and funny conspiracy theory I\u2019ve heard. I know it\u2019s hard to pick one. The latest one, though, explaining the California wildfires, that the Iraq security firm Blackwater wanted the property where a number of homes were located to build a new training center in secret locations, training centers and so forth for secret operations, and so they started the fires in the middle of the Santa Ana winds in order to drive those people off their property so it would be much cheaper for Blackwater to buy.
