RUSH: If you weren\u2019t watching the big Democrat debate last night, you missed this. This was in Philadelphia, PMSNBC Live, Tim Russert said, ‘Congressman Kucinich, I want to move to a different area because this is a serious question. The godmother of your daughter, Shirley MacLaine…\u2019 The godmother? I had no clue. When I heard that last night, I said, ‘Gee!\u2019 ‘The godmother of your daughter, Shirley MacLaine, writes in her new book that you sighted a UFO over her home in Washington State. Now, did you see a UFO?\u2019<\/p>\n

KUCINICH: I did, and, uh, the rest of the account, quote — <\/p>\n

AUDIENCE: (groans and laughter)<\/p>\n

KUCINICH: I — I — I didn\u2019t — I — It was an unidentified flying object, okay? It\u2019s, like, it\u2019s unidentified. I saw something. You have to keep in mind that Jimmy Carter saw a UFO, and also that more people in this country, uh, have seen UFOs than, I think, approve of George Bush\u2019s presidency.<\/p>\n

RUSH: All right. I looked that up. The numbers on people in this country who claim to have seen or believe in UFOs is 14%; Bush\u2019s numbers are in the thirties. So Congressman Kucinich, it would be more accurate to say that more people in this country have seen UFOs than I think approve of Congress and their work. I wonder if he\u2019ll make the next debate. I bet whatever network has it will want him back, just for the entertainment factor. Yeah, he saw a UFO. It was unidentified. So Russert then says, ‘Senator Obama, a question on the same line: The three astronauts of Apollo 11 who went to the moon back in 1969 all said they believe there is life beyond Earth. Do you agree?\u2019<\/p>\n

OBAMA: I don\u2019t know, and I don\u2019t presume to know. What I know is, there is life here on Earth and —<\/p>\n

AUDIENCE: (laughter and applause)<\/p>\n

OBAMA: — and that we\u2019re not attending to life here on Earth. We\u2019re not taking care of kids who are alive, and unfortunately are not getting health care. We\u2019re not taking care of senior citizens who are alive and are seeing their heating prices go up. So, as president, those are the people I will be attending to first.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Okay, so, we\u2019re not taking care of kids who are alive. We\u2019re also killing kids before they had a chance to get born, Senator — and let\u2019s see. We\u2019re not taking care of senior citizens? In a lot of cases, we\u2019re euthanizing them, too, under the guise of ‘compassion\u2019 or what have you. We are taking care of so many people! Everybody in this country who needs emergency health care, gets it. But then Bill Richardson weighed in on this. Chris Matthews said, ‘I\u2019m talking about Roswell. You have to be a booster for UFOs in the state of New Mexico.\u2019<\/p>\n

RICHARDSON: The federal government has not come clean on all that issue, and it should, but, no. (black helicopter sound effect) I\u2019ve never seen one. I doubt of their existence, but I admit, you know, I\u2019m the governor of the state. I push the tourism promotion side like Billy the Kid, too. You know, I\u2019m also trying to bring tourism to my state.<\/p>\n

MATTHEWS: Wait a minute! Wait a minute!<\/p>\n

RICHARDSON: I don\u2019t think there\u2019s any credible evidence.<\/p>\n

MATTHEWS: Stop the music! Stop the music, governor! Did you say the United States government is covering up a history of the UFO sighting in your state? What are they hiding, did you say, about UFO?<\/p>\n

RICHARDSON: Well, they haven\u2019t. They don\u2019t produce documents, Chris. They should just get it all out. There\u2019s a known history about this.<\/p>\n

RUSH: All this actually happened at the Democrat debate last night in Philadelphia. Bill Richardson claims the government hasn\u2019t come clean on Roswell. Everybody knows what Roswell is. Roswell is where supposedly there\u2019s a UFO in there and the body of an alien and they keep covering it up and so forth. The government hasn\u2019t come clean on Roswell? What would prompt somebody to even get into this? You know, Obama probably did the smartest thing by just avoiding this whole issue. But what would prompt somebody like Richardson — who, by the way, is regaled as just a fabulous diplomat — what would inspire somebody to say, ‘The government hasn\u2019t come clean on that\u2019? The answer is very simple. The Democratic Party\u2019s narrative or their template is the Bush administration spying on you, and they\u2019re monitoring your phone calls. The government hasn\u2019t come clean on this. There\u2019s some sort of conspiracy up there. Somebody needs to tell these Democrats ‘The X Files\u2019 has been canceled. Yes. In fact, if we\u2019re going to start talking about UFOs, let\u2019s talk about illegal aliens. Let\u2019s make that bridge, because aliens, these guys, if there are UFOs that were little space guys on, they would be illegal aliens, and they flew in here without permission. They\u2019d be aliens of the world, illegal aliens of the world, not just illegal aliens in the United States. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
