CALLER: Hi. Why don\u2019t the millions of us who voted for President Trump march to Washington in the biggest protest ever to drive a stake through that vampire Mueller and all his bloodsucking bats and then also march on the mainstream press in New York, millions of us?<\/p>\n
RUSH: I don\u2019t know. Why don\u2019t you?<\/p>\n
CALLER: Well, I think it\u2019s a good idea, don\u2019t you?<\/p>\n
RUSH: I\u2019d love to see it.<\/p>\n
CALLER: I\u2019d love to see, too.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I gotta be very careful here. I gotta be very careful not to be seen organizing or suggesting such a thing. Otherwise, if it happens, it will not appear organic. We don\u2019t want \u2019em to say, “Yeah, this is all happening \u2019cause Limbaugh\u2019s got his robots doing what he told them.” We don\u2019t want them to say that, so —<\/p>\n
CALLER: No, I don\u2019t think they could accuse you of that. I think lots of us have the idea that we\u2019d like to do that \u2019cause, I mean, I really love Trump. He\u2019s saving America.<\/p>\n
RUSH: You know, you do raise a broader question, and that is as people learn what has been learned since last night with Caputo, Michael Caputo and essentially confirming what I thought was going on with this thing from the beginning, I wonder how mad Trump voters and others are out there.<\/p>\n
CALLER: I think that we\u2019re all furious. I mean, everybody I know is, of the conservatives. I mean, they despise Mueller. And I certainly do. I think he\u2019s an evil man. I believe in a hell, and I think that\u2019s where he\u2019s gonna wind up going. That\u2019s one thing about it, he\u2019s gonna spend eternity there being tortured like what he\u2019s doing to President Trump.<\/p>\n
RUSH: Well, that may well be, but if that happens, nobody will ever know it so you will not have the satisfaction of ever knowing that.<\/p>\n
CALLER: You\u2019re probably right about that, but it\u2019s nice thinking about it.<\/p>\n
RUSH: Well, look, I understand the rage. I understand the emotion. But if you look at this, what is being attempted here is so outrageous. The way we change presidents in America is at the ballot box. We are still a representative Republic, a constitutional Republic. And what is happening here is happening outside the bounds of the rule of law. I mean, it\u2019s gone on way too long. There isn\u2019t any evidence for what is being looked at here.<\/p>\n
And we actually have a cabal of establishment types literally attempting to overthrow the results of the last election. But the American people take care of these mistakes, the American people. That\u2019s how our country works, not like this. I wonder how many people really are outraged over it.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Thank you, Rush, for taking my call. God bless that caller before me, because you know what, I\u2019m mad. And that this has got to stop. I\u2019m tired of hearing about it. There are more important things that we need to be focused on besides this. What is happening is wrong, and these bastards can\u2019t get away with it. I was not a Trumpster, but they have made me one. I was a Cruz person. But what is happening in our country is wrong. It\u2019s all a bunch of lies, and it\u2019s got to stop.<\/p>\n
RUSH: You know, that, too, is an excellent point, because I\u2019ve got a story in the Stack here from a CNN reporter. The conventional wisdom is, of course, that the Democrats are gonna sweep to victory in a blue wave in the midterm elections in November in the House of Representatives.<\/p>\n
CALLER: No.<\/p>\n

RUSH: This guy\u2019s got a story saying, “Wait a minute. This may not be happening. This whole blue wave thing may not be happening, and we\u2019ve gotta honestly look at it.” And because the Democrats are continuing to lose ground in the generic ballot poll, and I think what you just said, that more and more people who really might have been ambivalent about Trump, even some who voted for him, but might not like him personally, I think unbeknownst to these people in Washington, they are creating a gigantic backlash that is causing people to turn to Trump in a defensive way simply because of what\u2019s happening and how it\u2019s happening.<\/p>\n
CALLER: And they are. In several of shows you\u2019ve said, how do we stop this, who\u2019s gonna stop this? And I think we do. We, the people. We stop it. And I agree with her. We need to march on Washington, D.C., like they have never seen before. And you help us stop it because I think we need Dan\u2019s Bake Sale number two.<\/p>\n
RUSH: (laughing) I think about this.<\/p>\n
CALLER: I beg you to do it, because it needs to be done. This has got to stop, Rush.<\/p>\n
RUSH: No, no, no, what I mean, let me be honest. I do think about it, asking the question as you so correctly remember it. But I\u2019ve been asking, what would it take to stop this, what will it take to bring this to a conclusion? Because obviously there isn\u2019t any evidence for what they\u2019re looking for, so it\u2019s clear that these people are trying to use the power that they have to drive Trump out of office. They want to drive him out of Washington, and they\u2019re gonna ruin as many people as they can in the process to apply pressure.<\/p>\n
BREAK TRANSCRIPT<\/p>\n
RUSH: I think as this has gone on more and more people are starting to get literally outraged over all of this. I mean, at its most elementary, this is the epitome of unfairness. And if Americans are devoted to anything, it\u2019s to fairness. And there is nothing fair about this. And that is becoming more and more obvious. There isn\u2019t a single thing fair about this.<\/p>\n
Trump didn\u2019t do anything to any of these people. And yet they are out to destroy him and his family and his businesses and in the process, send a signal to anybody else in the future who might want to do what Trump has done here to not even think about it.<\/p>\n
And I think we\u2019re getting to a point where a lot of people out there are beginning to ask what can they do. How does this get fixed? How does this get rectified? And, furthermore, how do the people who are responsible for this travesty, how do they get held accountable? How are they investigated? If they deserve to be punished, when and how is that gonna happen? What are the processes for that to occur? And why aren\u2019t they?<\/p>\n
Why is it that the investigator side of this has no bounds, no limits on time or money? Why is it that they can lie and do whatever, leak whatever, destroy whoever with impunity? I think more and more people are beginning to ask these simple questions. And as part of that, they want to know what they can do. Because it is clear to a lot of people that showing up and voting, well, if these people don\u2019t like the way you voted, they\u2019re gonna just throw it out. They\u2019re gonna do whatever they can to undermine it and sabotage it, \u2019cause they don\u2019t like the result.<\/p>\n
Apparently a lot of people had a lot of their futures written with Hillary Clinton in the White House. A lot of people had made plans. A lot of people had made plans to get rich. A lot of people had made plans to have a lot of power. A lot of people had made plans to have a really cushy, great life associated with Washington and everything there if Hillary Clinton\u2019s in the White House and running the country. A lot of people had already made investments necessary, not just financial, in order to really profit and have a great time after Hillary Clinton gets elected.<\/p>\n
Now all of that is out the window. Everybody who had these grandiose plans, everybody who thought their future was written, all that had to happen was a calendar had to get to Election Day where Hillary was gonna win in a landslide, and our lives are made. How many people have had all of those plans thrown into utter tumult and chaos, thrown upside down and canceled? And they are fit to be tied over it. And to hell with what you think.<\/p>\n
There\u2019s a price to be paid for this. And if that means some people get ruined, small price to pay for the lesson to be taught, don\u2019t ever try this again. In the meantime, while all this is going on, Donald Trump is actually presiding over dramatic, successful agenda items being implemented, one right after another.<\/p>\n
And that is further infuriating these people because Trump is showing that an outsider can come in and do all of this, where for decades we\u2019ve been told, “Changing Washington is a big deal, Mr. Limbaugh. It\u2019s such a big ship and it\u2019s sailing at such a speed, it\u2019s just impossible to stop things and turn around. The best we can do is kind of stop them or slow \u2019em down. But actually reverse them –” this is what our conservative intellectuals always told me. “Rush, come on. Get serious. We\u2019re never gonna be able to stop it. The best we can do is slow it down. Rush, we\u2019re always gonna be playing defense. We\u2019re never gonna be on offense.”<\/p>\n
Now I understand why. They don\u2019t want to be on offense. They don\u2019t want to be at odds with the people that run the establishment. They don\u2019t want any part of those people being mad at them. Speaking of, there\u2019s another story about this today. Have it right my formerly nicotine-stained fingers.<\/p>\n

RUSH: (laughing) I love that way of looking at it. If paying off a hooker means you have to leave town — yeah. You know, I\u2019m thinking of Wilbur Mills and Fanne Foxe. You remember Wilbur Mills? Fanne Foxe was a well-known Washington hooker, but Wilbur Mills was cavorting in fountains in Washington with hookers and so forth. It was found out later in his career. Of course we have the Kennedy family and his buddies. So, yeah — what you mean though, Trump\u2019s playing long ball? Is that an independent comment from the joke or is that part of the joke?<\/p>\n
