CALLER: Hi, Rush. I\u2019m doing fine. You know what? We could have saved millions of taxpayer dollars if they\u2019d just asked us why we voted for Trump. Because it had absolutely nothing to do with Russia. It had to do with a man that had an outstanding pro-American agenda and how wonderful to have an American president who put Americans first. And he wanted to bring jobs back. And we celebrate that many, many Americans are working now.<\/p>\n
RUSH: Sandy.<\/p>\n
CALLER: Employment\u2019s gone down.<\/p>\n
RUSH: Sandy.<\/p>\n
CALLER: Yes.<\/p>\n
RUSH: They don\u2019t care why you voted. All they care about is undoing the way you voted and that\u2019s what Russia has been about. They know damn well that there are people out there that don\u2019t want Trump to be thrown out of office. They don\u2019t want this Russia thing. They\u2019re doing it to depress you, to try to dispirit you, to distract you.<\/p>\n
That is why I\u2019ve spent so much time the past two days telling you it is fading away, it\u2019s bombed, it\u2019s falling apart on \u2019em. Nobody else is gonna characterize it this way yet because nobody\u2019s gonna feel safe doing so \u2019cause most people are gonna think there still could be something that\u2019s gonna rear its ugly head.<\/p>\n
CALLER: But that\u2019s why they can\u2019t be successful, Rush, because we know better. The Russians didn\u2019t tell us about Hillary. We saw it. Congress and Comey told us about Hillary. And Trump has just done so many things that are good for the country that we can see that. That\u2019s why they\u2019re not gonna win on this.<\/p>\n
RUSH: I know, but they hate you for it.<\/p>\n
CALLER: Oh, I know. They think we\u2019re deplorables. We got that. We learned that. And they laughed. They thought it was so funny. But, see, we\u2019re not dumb. We\u2019re actually pretty smart. We care about our country. We care about our kids. We care about our grandkids. And we sure as heck are a lot smarter than they are.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, as far as they\u2019re concerned, your interests and stuff are not anywhere near as important as theirs. They run the country; you don\u2019t. And when you make a mistake voting the way you did, it\u2019s up to them to fix it.<\/p>\n
CALLER: That\u2019s why I say, everybody vote Republican. The Democrats are not gonna help the country. Vote Republican, vote Republican, vote Republican.<\/p>\n
