(interruption) You think it looks like Tom Brady? I thought it looked like Comey. He has a little different hairdo. If you can picture Comey in a hoodie and a sweatshirt, it looked like Comey to me. That\u2019s what I thought when I first looked. “James Comey accosted her in Las Vegas?” I guess was at a parking lot or something. (laughing)<\/p>\n

Anyway, speaking of Brady, folks, I\u2019m gonna tell you: This is from the why people hate the media in the sports department. ESPN has a story that Tom Brady may not play this season. They don\u2019t have any sources in the story that say he\u2019s not gonna play. Somebody — the writer, I don\u2019t know who it is. Somebody says that he\u2019s heard Brady may not play because he hasn\u2019t said yet he\u2019s gonna play. There are two people sourced, “No, we haven\u2019t heard that. We think he\u2019s gonna play.”<\/p>\n

\"\"They don\u2019t have anybody who said Brady isn\u2019t playing. They have two guys who think, “Well, I heard he isn\u2019t gonna play.” And the story is, “Brady may not play in 2018!” How do you get there? This is exactly what happens. They come up with a story, a narrative, and then they build it. So if somebody says, “You know, we need to run a story that Brady may not play because Brady hasn\u2019t said he\u2019s gonna play.” “Ooooh, perfect! Okay, we\u2019ll do a story Brady may not play,” and then they start running around asking people.<\/p>\n

They can\u2019t find anybody who\u2019s heard that. They instead find people who said, “I don\u2019t know. I haven\u2019t heard that.” So they start with a premise that\u2019s erroneous, and then they\u2019ve got their sources that disagree with it (laughing) and then they run a news story! If it is Brady in the sketch, in Stormy\u2019s sketch, you could understand him maybe not wanting to play.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
