CALLER: Good morning. I just… I\u2019m so glad I got a chance to get through with your speaker there. I mean, with your connection guy there. He — he has a serious problem, but I just wanted to ask you this morning since I have you on the line: ‘How many black people do you know?\u2019<\/p>\n

RUSH: How many white people do you know?<\/p>\n

CALLER: There\u2019s no such thing as white people!<\/p>\n

RUSH: Okay.<\/p>\n

CALLER: There are Caucasians, but there\u2019s no such thing as ‘white\u2019 people.<\/p>\n

RUSH: All right, then, how many Caucasians?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Cars can be ‘white,\u2019 things can be ‘white,\u2019 but humans can\u2019t be white.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Okay, fine.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Now that we\u2019ve educated you on that —<\/p>\n

RUSH: (laughing) Yeah!<\/p>\n

CALLER: — let\u2019s move on to the black part.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yeah, okay. (laughing)<\/p>\n

CALLER: How many ‘dark-skin-ded\u2019 people do you know personally?<\/p>\n

RUSH: How many black-skinned people do I —<\/p>\n

CALLER: Dark!<\/p>\n

RUSH: Dark-skinned.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yeah! All black people ain\u2019t black.<\/p>\n

RUSH: It\u2019s a hearing problem out there, Bill. Just bear with me.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Oh, I forgot that you had that problem. I\u2019m sorry.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yeah.<\/p>\n

CALLER: You got electronic response. I forgot. Let me ask you this.<\/p>\n

RUSH: (laughing) Would you —<\/p>\n

CALLER: The reason why I\u2019m doing this, Rush, is the simple fact that you keep stipulating that all — what do you call us, Democrats?<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yeah, Democrats.<\/p>\n

CALLER: All Democrats are stupid. Okay. Aren\u2019t there some Democrats over there fighting in that war, some young men that are Democrats?<\/p>\n

RUSH: Uh, I never said ‘all Democrats are stupid.\u2019<\/p>\n

CALLER: You don\u2019t stop at the point saying that Democrats are stupid. Doesn\u2019t that mean all? You don\u2019t say, ‘I know some that are.\u2019 You say, Democrats —<\/p>\n

RUSH: Qualify this constantly. That\u2019s why I separate ‘liberals\u2019 from ‘Democrats.\u2019 Bill, what did you call about here? I\u2019ve now learned there aren\u2019t any ‘white people.\u2019<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yeah, and I\u2019m quite sure you should understand being as educated as you are.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yeah. Um… Okay. So does that mean white is not allowed in polite discourse now when describing race?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, you shouldn\u2019t if you\u2019re smart enough to understand that there\u2019s no such thing as a white human. You can have ‘light-skin-ded\u2019 people, but I don\u2019t think their skin is going to be white, unless they\u2019re — okay, let\u2019s say —<\/p>\n

RUSH: (sigh)<\/p>\n

CALLER: — humans have another kind of white skin — white, other than white.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I\u2019m starting to understand why the call screener, Mr. Snerdley, was having difficulty with you.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I\u2019ll bet you you were, because he\u2019s programmed by you!<\/p>\n

RUSH: I don\u2019t know why you called yet.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I told you why I called. I asked you how many black people or ‘dark-skin-ded\u2019 people —<\/p>\n

RUSH: You know, many people have tried to trick me —<\/p>\n

CALLER: It ain\u2019t no trick. I\u2019m asking you a question.<\/p>\n

RUSH: It\u2019s a total trick. It\u2019s no different than… You\u2019re trying to get me to say, ‘I have lots of black friends.\u2019 I\u2019m not going to say that.<\/p>\n

CALLER: No, I don\u2019t want you to do that. I want you to —<\/p>\n

RUSH: I\u2019m not going there, Bill.<\/p>\n

CALLER: — tell that truth thing that you always do.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Bill, let me tell you something, pal. Do you want to hear it straight from my mouth, what I think about race in this country, or do you not?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Go ahead. Let me hear your speech on race.<\/p>\n

RUSH: You know something? I love this country, and I want everybody in it to be educated so they have the opportunity to access life in America, because it\u2019s better here than it\u2019s ever been anywhere else, and there are people — liberal Democrats, and a lot of people with so-called compassion who I firmly believe, with government programs and policies, and other ill intent — who have destroyed elements of the black family that prevent many blacks in this country from achieving the American dream and happiness, and it breaks my heart. I have been reading about the plight of urban education this morning, and it is a crime what\u2019s being done to young black kids in school. Not requiring them to learn, not even requiring them to show up, it\u2019s a disservice to them, and it\u2019s embarrassing to me that my country has people in it that are completely comfortable with keeping a certain percentage of our population poor, ignorant, and dependent, for their own political gain. It infuriates me. It breaks my heart at the same time.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Then why don\u2019t you spend time talking about those things, Rush, and those people? Why don\u2019t you name them like you do Hillary? Why y\u2019all hating on a woman?<\/p>\n

RUSH: Name what people?<\/p>\n

CALLER: I\u2019m going to ask you: Why do you hate Hillary so much?<\/p>\n

RUSH: Why do I hate…?<\/p>\n

CALLER: What did she do to you personally?<\/p>\n

RUSH: You\u2019re not listening to what I\u2019m saying. In the first place, you ask, ‘Why don\u2019t you talk about that more often?\u2019 I just said it to you, and I have said it often on this program, and now after I\u2019ve said that, instead of engaging me in that, you jump off to asking, ‘Why do I hate Hillary?\u2019 I don\u2019t hate anybody, Bill. I oppose Mrs. Clinton because of her policies. I have a little fear about what might happen to the country if she and her husband get back in for another eight years of the Clinton soap opera. I don\u2019t ‘hate\u2019 anybody, Bill.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Didn\u2019t nothing happen to the people while we were under there the first time, but under George Bush\u2019s watch we\u2019ve lost several young men.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Uhhhhhhh, what are we talking about now?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, talking about what you wanted to talk about. I wanted to talk about race in this country, but —<\/p>\n

RUSH: No, no.. What…? I don\u2019t… What…?<\/p>\n

CALLER: — you didn\u2019t want to talk about that. You said it to me.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Who did we not lose during the Clinton years that we have lost with Bush?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Do we have men in the world losing lives every day when Bush is in office — I mean, when Clinton was in office?<\/p>\n

RUSH: (sigh) Oh, we were. Bill, you don\u2019t really want to go there. We had 800,000 Rwandans slaughtered in the genocide while Bill Clinton was in office and all he did was apologize for it. Rwandans are black, by the way.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I know who they are!<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yeah, okay.<\/p>\n

CALLER: But they\u2019re not considered Americans.<\/p>\n

RUSH: We had troops in Kosovo, they were NATO troops, and some of them lost their lives. Hell yes. Bill, you have a pent-up rage, at something, and you\u2019re aiming it at me today.<\/p>\n

CALLER: No, I\u2019m not raging. I want to ask you questions —<\/p>\n

RUSH: You\u2019re being contentious.<\/p>\n

CALLER: — because you have a rage against black people, which is the reason why you\u2019re fighting Democrats so hard. You know who the majority of Democrats are.<\/p>\n

RUSH: What? I know the majority are what? What do you mean by that?<\/p>\n

CALLER: You know who the majority of Democrats are. That\u2019s why you\u2019re going at it as ‘Democrats.\u2019<\/p>\n

RUSH: Who? I do not know. Who are the majority of Democrats?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yes, you do. You\u2019re smart. Remember, you know everything.<\/p>\n

RUSH: You tell me. You tell me, Bill, because I don\u2019t think of Democrats as anything other than people with certain ideological beliefs.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Suuuure, \u2019cause they\u2019re black.<\/p>\n

RUSH: The majority of Democrats are not black!<\/p>\n

CALLER: You said they were.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I did not! I did not!<\/p>\n

CALLER: You said there was hardly any was Republican.<\/p>\n

RUSH: It\u2019s silly and stupid. There aren\u2019t enough black people in the country to be a majority of the Democrat Party.<\/p>\n

CALLER: There are not enough of them to being the majority?<\/p>\n

RUSH: No!<\/p>\n

CALLER: How would you know that?<\/p>\n

RUSH: The majority of blacks ‘vote\u2019 Democrat in presidential elections.<\/p>\n

CALLER: And how would you know that?<\/p>\n

RUSH: (laughing) Bill, call Media Matters for America, and just tell \u2019em I made it up.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I\u2019ve been thinking about Bill here during the break. He might have been on to something. (laughing) If Bill Clinton is the ‘first black president,\u2019 then there really can\u2019t be any ‘white people,\u2019 folks. I mean, if a guy is white as Clinton! If you want pasty white, if there\u2019s no such thing as a ‘white human being,\u2019 and Bill Clinton is one, and if he was the first black president, then there aren\u2019t any whites! So, Bill, your problem is solved. If Barack Obama is ‘not black enough,\u2019 as so many liberals have said, I guess there really isn\u2019t any black or white. Bill got off his talking points there. He lost his place at some point in the conversation, but, anyway, Bill, I wanted to commend you. You may have made more sense than I originally thought.
