RUSH: Here\u2019s Fred, Cleveland, Ohio.  Great to have you, Fred.  I\u2019m glad you called.<\/p>\n

CALLER:  Hi, Rush.  Hope you\u2019re having a great day.<\/p>\n

RUSH:  Thank you, sir.<\/p>\n

CALLER:  I have two quick observations I\u2019d like to get your thoughts on.  First, the Anderson Cooper interview<\/a>.  I watched about 10 or 15 minutes of it, and it looked like two schoolgirls on the playground talking gossip, and I was waiting for a patty-cake game to break out.<\/p>\n

RUSH:  Wait a minute, you —<\/p>\n

CALLER: I mean, what a disgrace.<\/p>\n

\"\"RUSH: Now, hang on here a second, Fred.  You\u2019re watching Anderson Cooper and Stormy Daniels, and you thought you\u2019re watching two schoolgirls on the playground?<\/p>\n

CALLER:  Yes.  That is what it reminded me of two 12-year-old schoolgirls (laughing) giggling and laughing about the whole situation. I mean, Anderson Cooper seemed to be more excited about the interview than any interview I think I\u2019ve ever seen.<\/p>\n

RUSH:  Well, I got a little different impression.  I thought Anderson Cooper was trying to make an interview with a porn star look as weighty and serious as an interview with Henry Kissinger —<\/p>\n

CALLER: (laughing)<\/p>\n

RUSH: — and wasn\u2019t quite able to pull that off.<\/p>\n

CALLER:  No.<\/p>\n

RUSH:  Okay.<\/p>\n

CALLER:  No.<\/p>\n

RUSH:  So somebody said, “What\u2019s the difference, Henry Kissinger and…?” Okay, take your pick. Throw John Kerry in there. I don\u2019t care.  He was trying to make it look like it had the weight of the world on it, and he\u2019s talking to a porn star.  But you think you saw that he was somewhat titillated by this?  Is that what you\u2019re saying out there, Fred?<\/p>\n

CALLER:  I really do.  I thought that he was excited by the whole process.  I mean, it fascinated me — and, quite frankly, made me sick.  You know, what has journalism come to?<\/p>\n

RUSH:  There isn\u2019t any. That\u2019s not journalism. There isn\u2019t any journalism anymore.<\/p>\n

CALLER:  Right.  That\u2019s pornography.  That\u2019s America.  I have another observation I\u2019d love to throw past you if I could.<\/p>\n

RUSH:  You know, I love being asked my impression of observations, so go ahead.<\/p>\n

CALLER:  Okay.  Now that Mark Zuckerberg has been summoned to appear in front of Congress, for one, I don\u2019t think he\u2019ll do it.  I think he will weasel his way out no matter how he has to.  But if they get him in the seat, I think that America will be treated to something observationally that will last a very long time.  I think we will see this kid break down in tears and possibly wet his pants and have to go to a recess and cut the cameras off, because this Mark Zuckerberg is in deep water that he cannot handle.<\/p>\n

RUSH:  Okay.  Why is Zuckerberg in deep water?<\/p>\n

CALLER:  Because Zuckerberg sold his soul to President Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton.<\/p>\n

RUSH:  Right!  Which is why he\u2019s gonna be protected!<\/p>\n

CALLER:  In front of Congress?  There\u2019s no —<\/p>\n

RUSH:  Do you really —<\/p>\n

CALLER:  There\u2019s no protection.<\/p>\n

RUSH:  You really think the Republicans are gonna come down hard on this guy?<\/p>\n

CALLER:  I just… I don\u2019t even think they need to come down on him.  What if the first senator or first congressman says to him, “Uh, tell us exactly what you gave Obama.  Did you open your books to him?” (chuckles) You know, and if he says, “Yes,” then they should say, “Okay, your company is a fraud.”<\/p>\n

RUSH:  Look, I don\u2019t think that\u2019s gonna happen.  I wish it would.  You know, if I were a pretend senator for the day and I was on the committee interrogating Zuckerberg, I would say, “Mr. Zuckerberg, I\u2019m having trouble understanding why you\u2019re even here. ‘Cause back in 2008 all the way to 2011, you helped — and practically saw to it — that the Obama campaign got every bit of data on every user you\u2019ve got.<\/p>\n

“And they were called geniuses, and you were too.  And now some outfit came along and found a way to get 50 million of your users\u2019 data, and we want to throw you in jail.  Mr. Zuckerberg, I don\u2019t understand why you\u2019re here.  What did you do wrong?” You know, I\u2019d ask it in a certain way.  But I don\u2019t know how hard the Republicans are gonna be.  Time will tell.  But if Zuckerberg wet his pants, Fred, how would you know?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
