Stormy on 60 Minutes Has No Impact on Female Trump Voters"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>RUSH: Now to the audio sound bites.\u00a0 CNN is desperate to find female Trump voters after the Make America Horny Again Tour on Sunday night, and they bombed out.\u00a0 The very <a href=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/daily\/2018\/01\/23\/sad-liberals-pin-their-hopes-on-stormy-daniels\/\">first time Stormy Daniels\u2019 name was mentioned on this program<\/a>, I told people it wouldn\u2019t matter to Trump voters.\u00a0 This is what I said&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>RUSH ARCHIVE:\u00a0 You know, I have to laugh.\u00a0 I had this yesterday and I didn\u2019t get to it.\u00a0 You know, Trump supposedly had this liaison with the stripper named &#8220;Stormy Daniels,&#8221; and there\u2019s a controversy over whether Trump\u2019s lawyer paid her to shut up. And then CNN\u2019s trying to say that the hush money is illegal. Supposedly a porn star. Fine and dandy.\u00a0 This is gonna be as effective as the Access Hollywood video was.\u00a0 Isn\u2019t gonna matter.\u00a0 These people on the left are going nuts again because they think this is going to be a slam dunk. &#8220;Get rid of Trump.\u00a0 We\u2019re gonna pull it off this time.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-264402 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rushlimbaugh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/APP-021318-See-I-told-You-So.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.rushlimbaugh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/APP-021318-See-I-told-You-So.jpg 640w, https:\/\/www.rushlimbaugh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/APP-021318-See-I-told-You-So-300x169.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>RUSH:\u00a0 Monday night, CNN, Anderson Cooper &#8212; the same guy that interviewed Stormy Daniels. This is a portion of Randi Kaye&#8230; She\u2019s the correspondent. She went out and did a report, a focus group of Trump supporters reacting to the 60 Minutes Make America Horny Again Tour interview.<\/p>\n<p>KAYE:\u00a0 What was your first impression of Stormy Daniels?<\/p>\n<p>WOMAN #1:\u00a0 I felt sorry for her.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-269144 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rushlimbaugh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/APP-032818-CNN-Trump-Ladies-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.rushlimbaugh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/APP-032818-CNN-Trump-Ladies-1.jpg 640w, https:\/\/www.rushlimbaugh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/APP-032818-CNN-Trump-Ladies-1-300x169.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/>WOMAN #2:\u00a0 My heart hurts for her.<\/p>\n<p>WOMAN #3:\u00a0 This is a porn star! (chuckling)\u00a0 Why are we giving it any credibility?<\/p>\n<p>WOMAN#4:\u00a0 Exactly.<\/p>\n<p>WOMAN #2:\u00a0 I agree.<\/p>\n<p>WOMAN #3:\u00a0 And the fact that she now wants to come out with a story because she\u2019s afraid of (sic) her children?<\/p>\n<p>WOMEN: (laughing)<\/p>\n<p>WOMAN #3: My goodness!\u00a0 What did you tell the kiddos about your full-time job?<\/p>\n<p>KAYE: (dramatic read) These women all voted for Donald Trump &#8212; and despite Stormy Daniels\u2019 claims, they still don\u2019t buy her story.\u00a0 Most in this group believe God ordained Donald Trump to be president and stand by him despite his imperfections.<\/p>\n<p>WOMAN #5:\u00a0 I know that when I voted for him, I wasn\u2019t voting for a choir boy.<\/p>\n<p>WOMAN #6:\u00a0 He hasn\u2019t changed as a person in order to become a president.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/-nvCmc6Np1Q\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>RUSH:\u00a0 This is not what they had in mind, obviously, at CNN &#8212; and I think they were sort of gobsmacked by it.\u00a0 Remember the world they construct for themselves:\u00a0 Everybody hates Trump.\u00a0 Responsible, reasonable women, they hate Trump &#8212; and so they couldn\u2019t find any here.\u00a0 And don\u2019t think they didn\u2019t look hard.\u00a0 I\u2019m just surprised they didn\u2019t hire an actor or make up one of their infobabe reporters to look frumpy and stuff and to pretend to be somebody.<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s the next portion of the interview&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>KAYE: (dramatic voice) This group suggests the women coming forward with tales of having had an affair with Trump are being targeted.<\/p>\n<p>WOMAN #1:\u00a0 Someone is looking and shopping for these people to come out of the woodwork because it is demeaning to our president.<\/p>\n<p>KAYE:\u00a0 And as some strongly suggested, all part of a media plot to bring down Donald Trump.<\/p>\n<p>WOMAN #2:\u00a0 You can throw all of that stuff up in our face as many times as you want, but that means that we will work harder for Trump.\u00a0 Is that not so, ladies?<\/p>\n<p>WOMAN #3:\u00a0 That\u2019s correct!<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:\u00a0 Wow.\u00a0 So they tell the infobabe is the CNN (whose name is Randi Kaye), &#8220;The more you try this, the more this garbage that you dredge up, the more we\u2019re gonna work for Trump and the harder we\u2019re gonna work for Trump.&#8221;\u00a0 This did not go down well with Randi Kaye.\u00a0 You can hear her exasperation here.<\/p>\n<p>WOMAN #1:\u00a0 This is the media defining the narrative.\u00a0 The people &#8212; we, the people &#8212; are ready to define the narrative, and it\u2019s not about tawdry sexual peccadillos.<\/p>\n<p>WOMAN #2:\u00a0 In order for somebody to come forward, you can be pushed by somebody else, right?<\/p>\n<p>WOMAN #3: Correct.<\/p>\n<p>WOMAN #5: Who knows?<\/p>\n<p>WOMAN #2: And so I think the thing is, you\u2019re &#8212; you\u2019re looking for a way to impeach my president that I worked very hard for.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignright wp-image-269152\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rushlimbaugh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/Screen-Shot-2018-03-28-at-12.53.37-PM-1024x517.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"202\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.rushlimbaugh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/Screen-Shot-2018-03-28-at-12.53.37-PM-1024x517.png 1024w, https:\/\/www.rushlimbaugh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/Screen-Shot-2018-03-28-at-12.53.37-PM-300x152.png 300w, https:\/\/www.rushlimbaugh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/Screen-Shot-2018-03-28-at-12.53.37-PM-768x388.png 768w, https:\/\/www.rushlimbaugh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/Screen-Shot-2018-03-28-at-12.53.37-PM-1080x546.png 1080w, https:\/\/www.rushlimbaugh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/Screen-Shot-2018-03-28-at-12.53.37-PM.png 1544w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/>KAYE: (exasperated) I\u2019m asking about a Stormy Daniels interview on 60 Minutes! Period! That\u2019s it!<\/p>\n<p>WOMAN #4:\u00a0 Worst-case scenario, if he slept with her, whatever.\u00a0 That\u2019s between him, the Lord, and his family.<\/p>\n<p>WOMAN #2: Exactly.<\/p>\n<p>WOMAN #4: That is not about the job he\u2019s doing and running our country, which he\u2019s doing an amazing job.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:\u00a0 Ms. Kaye, if you don\u2019t like any of this you better take it up with Bill and Hillary Clinton, because they paved this road.\u00a0 (chuckling)\u00a0 Trump didn\u2019t build this.\u00a0 (laughing) The Clintons built this!\u00a0 And you and the media? You built the road and you built the escape hatch!\u00a0 Why, these women are saying exactly what you said about Clinton.\u00a0 I think these women are so sophisticated.\u00a0 When&#8230;? How long ago was it, Mr. Snerdley? Here you have average Americans talking about &#8220;the media narrative.&#8221;\u00a0 You know, that used to be a secret?<\/p>\n<p>That used to be a secret aspect of the news.\u00a0 Doing the narrative, establishing a narrative &#8211;creating it, maintaining it &#8212; that was what journalists learned in J-school, that every story is a &#8220;narrative.&#8221;\u00a0 It\u2019s not based on events.\u00a0 It\u2019s the &#8220;narrative&#8221; that you have, and that narrative depends or determines, you know, what you talk about and what you don\u2019t. You know, what you consider news and what isn\u2019t.\u00a0 Now these so-called bumpkin women from the middle of America are talking to the media about their narrative and how it ain\u2019t gonna fly.<\/p>\n<p>And I guarantee you, that doesn\u2019t sit well.\u00a0 You can hear the exasperation of Randi Kaye\u2019s voice.\u00a0 &#8220;I am asking you about a Stormy Daniels interview on 60 Minutes! Period! That\u2019s it!&#8221;\u00a0 She was near the end of her tolerance for these women.\u00a0 These women had the gall to properly define what Randi Kaye here was doing.\u00a0 &#8220;You\u2019re trying to get of my president.&#8221; &#8220;I\u2019m asking you about Stormy Daniels! Period!
