RUSH: The first caller of the day, and we got somebody wants to talk about O.J. Simpson. I want to take it now and move it along. This is A.J. in Houston. Hello, A.J. It\u2019s nice to have you with us.<\/p>\n

CALLER: How you doing? Mega, mega, mega dittos to you, sir.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Thank you very much. It\u2019s great to have you on the program.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Sir, I appreciate you out there fighting for us because ain\u2019t nobody else doing it. But, Rush, I want to understand one thing. How is it that our government and our city officials can sit there and just tarnish this man, and they got terrorists running around our cities, and they ain\u2019t even thinking about taking their passports? Illegal immigrants? They ain\u2019t thinking about taking their passports. How can you do this, man, like this? How can the American people put up with this, Rush? This is not right, man. The American people gotta wake up and cut all this bull crap out and take our country back and get these illegals outta here, man, and they\u2019re doing O.J. They\u2019re stomping him in the ground. O.J., he\u2019s crazy enough to get his butt back into this crazy stuff, but it still don\u2019t make sense. You gonna take his passport and you ain\u2019t going to take these other people\u2019s passports? Is something wrong with this picture, Rush, or am I crazy?<\/p>\n

RUSH: (Laughing.)<\/p>\n

CALLER: Which one is it, Rush?<\/p>\n

RUSH: No, I don\u2019t think you\u2019re crazy. I think you\u2019re perhaps one of the most brilliant people that we\u2019ve had on the program. I would never have thought, without your call, to link O.J. Simpson to illegal immigration via his passport being taken from him. That\u2019s an interesting route that you\u2019ve taken there to illustrate the illegal immigration problem. Plus with all those terrorists running around the country, as you say, and they\u2019re treating O.J. like he\u2019s more dangerous than those guys when he was acquitted in that trial. Whatever you think, he was acquitted.<\/p>\n

CALLER: But, Rush, I\u2019m sick and tired of these people in America. We sent back… Black folk, I\u2019m tired of them, too, because we jumping on bandwagons that don\u2019t even matter. If you talk to the average black man, he don\u2019t want to talk about politics. It don\u2019t matter. If you ask them what\u2019s going on, they can\u2019t tell you, but they want stuff to happen. The Mexicans are coming together and they are getting stuff done. The black man is left on the totem pole. I don\u2019t know where he\u2019s at no more. I can\u2019t even say where we\u2019re gonna go, Rush. We don\u2019t get the pants off our kids\u2019 butts, we walk around looking stupid, but we want somebody to hire us? Rush, come on, man! Jesse, all them, they keep the black folk down. I don\u2019t know why black men keep thinking Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton are the best thing since glue!<\/p>\n

RUSH: (Chuckling.)<\/p>\n

CALLER: Man! If these black folks don\u2019t wake up they\u2019re going to be lost in the shuffle, baby, and I\u2019m tired of it, baby. I got a son coming up and I\u2019m schooling him every moment I\u2019m awake because, I\u2019m telling you, if we don\u2019t take America back, they\u2019re gonna kill us, man! They got our prayers out of the schools: ‘God\u2019 and ‘trust\u2019 off the money. How are these politicians letting this happen? American people, you better wake up, get these suckers outta office and we gotta get somebody into this that\u2019ll quit lying to us. Black folk let them come in their churches and lie to them. Then in the churches, they sell \u2019em. They ain\u2019t giving the black folks… Man, these people gotta wake up. I\u2019m sorry, sir. I\u2019m sorry, but it\u2019s time for America to get mad! I\u2019m tired of all this crazy crap, Rush. You\u2019re doing your best, but I\u2019m going to tell you, Rush, it\u2019s only three of you: you, Hannity, and Savage. You\u2019re the only ones saving the world, man, and you all need to come together and get these people together, and let\u2019s overcome this government and get this stuff on the road, man. That\u2019s the only way it\u2019s going to happen, Rush — and I\u2019m sorry, sir. I just had to get it out.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I appreciate the value to all of us in venting. Do you feel better?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Sir?<\/p>\n

RUSH: Do you feel better having vented? A lot of people out there, I\u2019m sure, agree with what you\u2019ve just had to say.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Sir, I feel better, but, Rush, I\u2019ll be better when action is proposed. I\u2019m more of an action man. I was in Detroit for years. Detroit is a piece of crap. The mayor let Detroit go down like it\u2019s nothing. People living in there were like, ‘Oh, everything\u2019s just hunky-dory.\u2019<\/p>\n

RUSH: (Laughing.)<\/p>\n

CALLER: People, look around your city! The dot-com losers are taking over. You\u2019re letting them do it, and your city looks like trash. Your mayor has taken money from your job. Y\u2019all don\u2019t have jobs, you all ain\u2019t got nothing going for your kids, it\u2019s a mess in Detroit and then you got Senator Levin coming on to talk about the war. You fools, you need to get your state together! That\u2019s what you need to do! I mean, Rush, I can go on, baby, but I know other people gotta get on, sir. I appreciate it, sir, and you keep the good work up. You, Hannity and Savage get yourself together, and I believe you all can overcome this government.<\/p>\n

RUSH: A.J., what do you do for a living?<\/p>\n

CALLER: I\u2019m in air-conditioning, sir, the air-conditioning business.<\/p>\n

RUSH: You\u2019re in the air-conditioning business. Cool. All right. Very good.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yeah. In Houston, you know, we got to have it. (Laughing.)<\/p>\n

RUSH: (Laughing.)<\/p>\n

CALLER: Heh-heh-heh.<\/p>\n

RUSH: No kidding! You need it almost year \u2019round. All right, A.J., thanks much for the phone call. I really appreciate it. I love your passion, man. I love your passion.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Rush, keep it up, baby. Try y\u2019all three get together and let\u2019s overcome this government —<\/p>\n
