From the Grooveyard of Forgotten Favorites, from the archives of the Rush Limbaugh program, Slim Whitman, Una Paloma Blanca, our Peace Update theme from many moons ago. It was actually born on this program in Sacramento, California, during the first Global Peace March for Nuclear Disarmament. We tracked \u2019em all across the country, and what they did, when they finished the great peace march, they went to the Energy Department building in Washington, and they staged a die-in on the front steps. By that I mean they simulated what would happen at the very moment of a nuclear blast being detonated. They even had red paint to simulate blood and it caused a whole big mess there. This is a great example here of how the left just keeps repeating its playbook. <\/p>\n

‘A week of events, meant to crank up a national demonstration against the war in Iraq is set to begin Saturday with a 1,000-person die-in at the US capitol, led by former American troops and accompanied by Taps and a mock 21-gun salute.\u2019 And guess who is going to be there? ‘Cindy Sheehan will be appearing at the die-in along with the other 999 people,\u2019 the supposed 999 people. She\u2019s running for Pelosi\u2019s seat in California. She\u2019s not retiring from any of this. She\u2019s getting all cranked up. The Democrats are letting her down. The Democrats are letting people like her down. She\u2019s gotta do something. What does the left do? They have a protest and they stage a die-in on the steps of the Capitol building, and, of course, it\u2019s going to be covered with zeal and interest by the Drive-Bys and they will tell us that this represents the thinking of millions of Americans. And, of course, ladies and gentlemen, will it accomplish anything? It will not. <\/line>It won\u2019t accomplish one thing policy-wise. These people are too blockheaded to understand it. They\u2019re not even doing it for that reason — well, they are doing it for that reason. There\u2019s another reason. They want to matter. They want to think they matter. They want to think they are important. They are wandering, lost souls, and they are used by the Democrats, made to feel important when they\u2019re really not. In addition, by the way, to this 1,000-person die-in on Saturday, they\u2019re going to shut down as many military recruitment centers as possible. Now, if I were the Democrat Party, I would do everything I could to stop this because they\u2019re already in enough hot water, convincing as many Americans as they have that they are interested in losing, they want defeat and so forth. The Democrats thought that the Wellstone Memorial was one of the highlights of their party\u2019s career. They\u2019re tone deaf. They have no idea how this is viewed by a majority of decent American citizens.<\/line><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
