<\/p>\nRUSH: Auntie Maxine, who\u2019s the queen of the resistance. She was on a TV show called Washington Watch with Roland Martin. It\u2019s on some network called TV One. And he said to Maxine, “The reality is like anything else, you\u2019d better get what you can while he\u2019s there, because look, come 2016…” They\u2019re talking about Obama, and they\u2019re talking about African-Americans and other minorities. “Hey, you better reach in and grab everything you can while Obama\u2019s there, because after 2016, Obama\u2019s gone.”<\/p>\n
Now, if I may make a brief departure here, in less than a year, Donald Trump has done more for the lives and the future of African-Americans than Barack Obama even thought about in eight years. Black unemployment never came down under Barack Obama. Black prosperity didn\u2019t move any at all. But here\u2019s Roland Martin. What does this mean? “The reality\u2019s like anything else. You better get what you can while he\u2019s there.” What does that mean? “You better get what you can.” Like in benefits? What the hell does that mean?<\/p>\n
Well, we all know what it means, and we all know what it meant for these people to vote for Obama. That\u2019s why you did it. Remember the woman in Tampa that wanted Obama to get her a new kitchen? That\u2019s what his election meant to her, a new kitchen. Maybe a new van to drive around in while she did whatever other things that she did. Anyway, here is auntie Maxine\u2019s answer to that.<\/p>\n
WATERS: Well, you know, I don\u2019t know. And I think some people are missing something here. The president has put in place an organization that contains the kind of database that no one has ever seen before in life. That\u2019s going to be very, very powerful. That database will have information about everything on every individual in ways that it\u2019s never been done before.<\/p>\n

RUSH: And that\u2019s the last we heard about it because I will guarantee you that somebody got hold of Auntie Maxine and said, “Do you see this glue? If you don\u2019t shut up, this glue is going right between your lips and you\u2019re not gonna be able to open your mouth ever again. Shut the hell up, Maxine.” And we haven\u2019t heard another word about this. Play it again, Sam. I want you to hear this one more time, this is 2013. This is the year that the New York Times is going bonkers writing one complimentary story after another about Obama\u2019s genius data collection team working in the White House.<\/p>\n
WATERS: Well, you know, I don\u2019t know. And I think some people are missing something here. RUSH: Well, that sounds — I mean, this is three years before Trump and Cambridge Analytica. Obama is gonna have this massive database with very powerful, information about everything on every individual. Can you imagine if, let\u2019s say Steve Bannon called a press conference and said, “You know, my buddies at Cambridge Analytica, we\u2019re preparing this massive database. We\u2019re gonna know everything about everybody. It\u2019s gonna be the most massive data collection on people in this country there\u2019s ever been.” Do you think there\u2019d be praiseworthy articles about it?<\/p>\n
I tell you, they\u2019d put everybody in prison that had anything to do with it if something like that happened. Here\u2019s Maxine bragging about it, and it happened, is the point. Why do you think Google was practically — look, I\u2019m being redundant here. But you could look it up. Google practically lived there. They had a satellite office. Google and Obama were inseparable, and there\u2019s only one reason for that. And remember how Obama got elected in the first place, by exposing sealed divorce records of his opponent running in the state Senate race in Illinois.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
