RUSH: Now, here\u2019s Mollie Hemingway\u2019s story. This is today at The Federalist. Here\u2019s the headline: “REVEALED: Peter Strzok Had Personal Relationship With Recused Judge In Michael Flynn Case.”<\/a> Let me give you the foundation of this story, which I have previously told you about. They go get a FISA warrant to spy on the Russian ambassador, Sergey Kislyak, who basically just goes to lunch.<\/p>\n

\"\"And during the transition, Michael Flynn, who would be the national security adviser, is talking to all these foreign leaders during the transition because that\u2019s what people in the transition do. They begin to set up the new administration, get to know people. Well, the Russian ambassador\u2019s being surveilled in a FISA warrant as many foreign actors are. It\u2019s routine. Flynn was therefore overheard talking to Kislyak.<\/p>\n

So the FBI arranged for an interview with Flynn that he did not know was an interview. And Peter Strzok did it! Peter Strzok. And it happened at the White House. Flynn was at the White House one day, and he\u2019s told that Peter Strzok wants to talk to him. Flynn says, “Okay,” thinking that it is an average, ordinary, everyday, run-of-the-mill meeting having to do with the transition. Flynn didn\u2019t know that he was being officially interviewed for having committed potential crimes.<\/p>\n

So when it\u2019s over what we know now is that Strzok did not think that Flynn had lied to him. We also know the Washington Post saw a transcript of this conversation, this interview between Strzok and Flynn, and the Washington Post in January of 2017 wrote a story concluding they didn\u2019t think Flynn had lied. Yet, Flynn ends up being indicted for lying — well, he\u2019s charged with lying and has pled, he\u2019s copped a plea with the special counsel, even though the interviewing agent didn\u2019t think he lied.<\/p>\n

So the question has been raised, did Mueller tell Flynn that the FBI didn\u2019t think he lied? Well, the judge in all of this is are this gets really interesting. Peter Strzok had a personal relationship with the judge who accepted the guilty plea. That judge has since recused himself, and the new judge doesn\u2019t like what he\u2019s smelling in this case.<\/p>\n

Text messages obtained by The Federalist show that Peter Strzok and Lisa Page conspired to collude with this judge. His name is Rudolph Contreras. He\u2019s also a FISA judge who presided over Flynn\u2019s guilty plea and was later removed from the case. So Rudolph Contreras, a FISA judge as well as the judge that presided over Flynn\u2019s guilty plea brokered by Mueller!<\/p>\n

Here you go, thick as thieves, this den, this establishment, this club, this whatever you want to call it. The fix was in to get Flynn from the get-go. Flynn has lost his house. He\u2019s had to sell his house. All Michael Flynn has ever done is defend this country. He has worn the uniform of the military, and he\u2019s been decorated. He ran the Defense Intelligence Agency for the Obama administration. He was one of the early sign-ons for Trump\u2019s campaign.<\/p>\n

He was big. He was eager. He was very vocal. He loved Trump. But all he\u2019s ever done is his patriotic duty. The man has lost his house. He had to cop the plea to stop the investigation because he couldn\u2019t afford to fight it any longer. And, meanwhile, over here is McCabe (imitating McCabe), “Please don\u2019t fire me. I don\u2019t want to lose my pension. I did 21 years. I don\u2019t get my pension if you fire me before Sunday, oh, my God, please don\u2019t.”<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, nobody cares that Flynn\u2019s lost his house. Nobody seems to care that Flynn has been railroaded. Nobody seems to care that the FBI agent, Strzok, who interviewed him didn\u2019t even think he lied.<\/p>\n

“Newly discovered text messages obtained by The Federalist reveal two key federal law enforcement officials conspired to meet with the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISC) judge who presided over the federal case against Michael Flynn. The judge, Rudolph Contreras, was recused from handling the case just days after accepting the guilty plea of President Donald Trump\u2019s former national security adviser who was charged with making false statements to federal investigators.”<\/p>\n

He\u2019s not even charged with any espionage. It\u2019s just another process crime.<\/p>\n

\"\"“The text messages about Contreras between controversial Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) lawyer Lisa Page and Peter Strzok, the senior FBI counterintelligence official who was kicked off Robert Mueller\u2019s special counsel team, were deliberately hidden from Congress, multiple congressional investigators told The Federalist. In the messages, Page and Strzok, who are rumored to have been engaged in an illicit romantic affair, discussed Strzok\u2019s personal friendship with Contreras and how to leverage that relationship in ongoing counterintelligence matters. ‘Rudy is on the [Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court]!\u2019 Page excitedly texted Strzok on July 25, 2016. \u201cDid you know that? Just appointed two months ago.”<\/p>\n

“Rudy” is Rudolph Contreras. So Strzok and Page are exhilarated that a judge they know is now a FISA judge! Strzok says, “I did. I need to get together with him.” “[He] said he\u2019d gotten on a month or two ago at a graduation party we were both at.”<\/p>\n

The names of these judges are supposed to be classified. That\u2019s no big deal that Strzok would know, but Strzok wants to get together with him? “Yeah, I knew he just made FISA, and we gotta get together.” Page and Strzok even schemed about how to set up a cocktail party or dinner party just so Contreras, Strzok, and Page could speak without arousing suspicion that they were colluding. Strzok expressed concern that a one-on-one meeting between the two men might require Contreras to recuse himself from things that involved Strzok.<\/p>\n

\u201c[REDACTED] suggested a social setting with others would probably be better than a one on one meeting.” And they settled on a dinner party with six people. Yeah. Six, a perfectly fine dinner party. “It\u2019s not known whether the proposed party actually happened. … Flynn\u2019s guilty plea was accepted in federal court by Contreras on December 1, 2017.”<\/p>\n

Contreras was then taken off the case when it was learned of all of this and that Strzok didn\u2019t think Flynn had lied. The investigating agent didn\u2019t think he had lied and is yet inspiring with the judge to get Flynn. How\u2019d these people get up every day. They supposedly have all this intellect, they have all this character, they have all this integrity. These are the finest men and women Washington has to offer. And they\u2019re skunks. I don\u2019t know how they get up every day and do what they\u2019re doing here. I really don\u2019t. They must have no conscience whatsoever.
