Buckley Jr. one day, and somebody asked him about Oprah Winfrey.\u00a0 He said (impression), “Ah, is — is — is that the, uh, the woman routinely, uh, uh, gaining weight and losing it?\u00a0 Is that who you mean?”<\/p>\n
“Yeah.”<\/p>\n

That\u2019s how he knew who she was: “The woman routinely gaining and losing weight.”\u00a0 I think he said “reducing” instead of “losing.”\u00a0 Regardless, she\u2019s all over the ballpark whether she\u2019s running for president or not.\u00a0 One day she is; next day she\u2019s not.\u00a0 But she now has gone into prayer.\u00a0 This was the People magazine website this morning.\u00a0 “The media mogul” the woman who\u2019s always losing or gaining weight Oprah Winfrey…<\/p>\n
WINFREY: (jaunty music) I pay attention when you have that many people saying something.\u00a0 I thought, “Well, gee, I\u2019ve never in my life ever, ever imagined that I would be in politics,” and I\u2019ve always said, “No, no, no, no, no.”<\/p>\n
RUSH:\u00a0 Right.<\/p>\n
WINFREY:\u00a0 Am I supposed to at least look at that question, \u2019cause I had enough people — billionaires — calling me up saying, “I can get you a billion dollars! I can run your campaign!” and I actually went into prayer about it. “Like, God, if you… If you think I\u2019m supposed to run, you gotta tell me, and it has to be so clear that not even I could miss it.”<\/p>\n

RUSH:\u00a0 Waaaaait just a minute.\u00a0 A liberal Democrat is gonna talk to God, and God is gonna talk back?\u00a0 Now, isn\u2019t that what they\u2019ve been making fun of Mike Pence for about a week?\u00a0 Mike Pence said Jesus talks! (interruption) Yeah, it was Maude Behar on The View saying he\u2019s mentally ill. Mike Pence is mentally ill because Jesus talks to him.\u00a0 You know, it\u2019s a big enough risk as it is for Oprah as a Democrat to acknowledge God, No. 1.<\/p>\n
No. 2, then to acknowledge prayer!\u00a0 I hope it wasn\u2019t in a school.\u00a0 And then she says that she will not move forward unless she hears from God in such a clear way that she couldn\u2019t miss it.\u00a0 So she\u2019s expecting “God-d” to talk to her.\u00a0 Anybody else see the contradictions here?\u00a0 Anybody else talking about God, prayer?\u00a0 “Prayer\u2019s aren\u2019t enough! You can\u2019t say prayers and condolences. That doesn\u2019t do anything for anybody.”\u00a0 Here\u2019s the next perhaps female president acknowledging it\u2019s not gonna happen \u2019til God tells her to go for it.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
