RUSH: I don\u2019t know if you were hearing about this, but Hillary and Obama are starting to take swipes at each other, ladies and gentlemen. In fact, Obama showed up in New York yesterday at the TimeWarner building. Richard Parsons, the CEO, had about 250 in there to listen to Obama, and apparently they were all dazzled! It was off the record, so nobody is reporting, even though there are a bunch of journalists in there. I\u2019m told Barbara Walters fell asleep for part of it, but there were a whole bunch of journalists in there, and they haven\u2019t leaked much. The only thing that\u2019s been really leaked is that he said, ‘I\u2019m the most qualified and the best qualified to lead this country.\u2019 He also praised George Clooney as a serious individual, a very serious man. So they\u2019re just going raves in there, apparently. He and Hillary are starting to take swipes at one another. Yesterday, on the campaign trail, Hillary called into the Quad City Times, a newspaper, and referring to Obama\u2019s comments about meeting with leaders from Iran and Syria and Cuba and North Korea and Venezuela. Now, this is cell phone quality audio here. It\u2019s only about 11 seconds but this is what she said about Obama.<\/p>\n

HILLARY: I thought that was irresponsible and, frankly, na&iuml;ve to say that he would commit to meeting with Chavez and Castro and others within the first year.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Not to be outdone, Senator Obama, the ‘magic negro,\u2019 called into the Quad City Times himself after hearing about Mrs. Clinton\u2019s earlier interview, and here\u2019s his response to her.<\/p>\n

OBAMA: If you want to talk about irresponsibility and na&iuml;vet&eacute;, look at her vote to authorize George Bush to send our troops into Iraq without an exit plan and then asking the Pentagon about what the plan is five years later.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Ohhhh! Now, this didn\u2019t happen during the YouTube debate, but it\u2019s happening even as we speak. You know, Barack Obama leads in fundraising, and apparently now in focus groups of Democrats who watched the YouTube debate on CNN, he was the big winner. But there\u2019s something to learn, ladies and gentlemen, from this exchange. Play these two again. What I want you to do out there, Ed, is play these two back-to-back, because, ladies and gentlemen, this is a great demonstration of why you need me hosting this program, how I can see the stitches on the fast ball, how I am able to read between the lines. These are short bites. Hillary\u2019s runs 11 seconds. Obama\u2019s runs 14 seconds. We\u2019ll play them for you back-to-back. You tell me what we learn from these two bites. <\/p>\n
