You gotta turn on Hawaii Five-0.&#8221; And I said, &#8220;Well, when\u2019s it on?&#8221; They said, &#8220;Well, it\u2019s already aired. That\u2019s why you\u2019ve got&#8230;&#8221; &#8220;Well, how can I turn it on if it\u2019s over?&#8221; (sputtering) &#8220;Well, y-y-you gotta get it! You gotta find it. You gotta find it, \u2019cause &#8212; \u2019cause &#8212; \u2019cause you just gotta see it!&#8221; I said, &#8220;Well, what is it?&#8221; &#8220;Oh, we\u2019re not gonna tell you. You\u2019ve just gotta see it!&#8221; So I had to go Saturday&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-263006\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rushlimbaugh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/FB-002-020518-Hawaii-50-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.rushlimbaugh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/FB-002-020518-Hawaii-50-1.jpg 640w, https:\/\/www.rushlimbaugh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/FB-002-020518-Hawaii-50-1-300x169.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/>I waited \u2019til iTunes&#8230; No. That\u2019s not what I did. I went to CBS All Access, which I have signed up for, and there it was: Hawaii Five-0. So I\u2019m watching the show, I\u2019m watching the show, and I\u2019m thinking, &#8220;Obviously some people think something happened here that I need to pay attention to.&#8221; Then I saw it. I heard it. The actor is named Chi McBride, and he portrays a member of the Five-0 squad named Lou Grover, and they have a prisoner &#8212; a bad guy &#8212; in their interrogation room where they\u2019re running CIA enhanced-interrogation measures.<\/p>\n<p>And the guy they have there is one of these New Age gurus, who is selling the secrets to eternal life and eternal health and all that. And what he really is is a drug dealer, and he\u2019s using these acolytes of his to run drugs around the island and so forth. And they\u2019re interrogating the guy, and here is the character Lou Grover as portrayed by Chi McBride&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>MCBRIDE: You take these gullible young students out in the middle of the jungle, get \u2019em baked out of their minds. &#8230; You had these young skulls full of mush tripping so hard, they thought they were actually achieving enlightenment.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/T7Ba_jz22sI\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>RUSH: &#8220;You had these young skulls full of mush tripping so hard&#8230;&#8221; Nobody would tell me what it was. I had to go find the episode and hear it. So just another phrase from the EIB Network now finding its way into the popular lexicon.<\/p>\n<p>BREAK TRANSCRIPT<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: To east Pennsylvania somewhere. This is Jennifer. Great to have you on the air. How are you?<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Very good. It\u2019s East Fallowfield. I would like to &#8212;<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Wait a minute. East what?<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Fallowfield. F-a-l-l-o-w.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: East Fallowfield. Okay.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Fallowfield, yes.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Where is that?<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: It\u2019s in between Lancaster and Philadelphia.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Okay. All right. I figured that since it was &#8220;east.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: (giggled)<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: But I had not heard of it before. You don\u2019t know where Coatesville is? I mean Fallowfield. It\u2019s not all that&#8230; East-south. I\u2019m sorry. I just wanted to ask you a question. Okay. I was in a coma for six weeks. One thing I can do still is give speeches. I give speeches for a lot of hospitals and everyone around here, but one of the hospitals stole my words. How do you deal with someone stealing your words?<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Are you referring by chance to the Hawaii Five-0 sound bite I played?<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: No. No. No, no, no. (chuckles) I\u2019m talking about me. (laughing) Not Hawaii Five-0.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: No, we played a sound bite from Hawaii Five-0 early in the program where they used one of my lines.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. I\u2019m sorry. That\u2019s what I was talking about.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Well, I was flattered by that. I\u2019m figuring somebody at that show is a fan. That\u2019s what I\u2019m figuring. But your larger question, I wanted to take your call because to me it\u2019s a good question. It used to bother me like you can\u2019t believe because it happens all the time.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Yes. Ditto. (giggles)<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: It frustrated me. Here I am with the largest radio audience in the country, and I turn on or I read this and read that, and I read my words back at me, and I wonder, &#8220;Do people who read this know I\u2019ve said it?&#8221; There were a couple of pieces this weekend, Jennifer &#8212; a couple of columns this weekend &#8212; that are almost&#8230; Well, not verbatim. But they are everything I have said in the past two weeks about this investigation.<\/p>\n<p>I finally got to the point where it happens so frequently that it is a waste of time getting caught up in it. And I try to take it internally as flattery. It\u2019s just there\u2019s nothing else you can do with it. How would it sound to you if I came to this program every day complaining about so-and-so stole what I said last Thursday, and then the next day I complained about it again, and then the next day complained about it? You\u2019d get tired of hearing me complain with it, wouldn\u2019t you?<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Yes. Well, itt\u2019s hard for me not to.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: This is why I don\u2019t listen to other talk show and this is why I never have, \u2019cause I don\u2019t want to even accidentally, subconsciously copy anybody. That\u2019s why I don\u2019t watch cable TV anymore &#8212; and there\u2019s so much media now, it\u2019s harder and harder to be original. But I still strive for it.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Yes.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: But when it happens, I mean, I just now my attitude is that it\u2019s not gonna stop, so why get bothered by it? It\u2019s not that big a deal. I wish I had a talk radio show. I listen to everyone; I love \u2019em.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: You think you could do three hours a day with callers?<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Hell, no! (giggles) Without callers, maybe.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: (laughing) &#8220;Hell, no! No callers.&#8221; Well, with that attitude you may get one someday. I mean, they hire car mechanics that do talk show. They hire psychiatrists. Any number of people that have never been on the radio get hired. So if that\u2019s something you want to do, apply. You never know. I know a housewife&#8230; Get this! A housewife in Miami got hired by a Miami talk station because of how brilliantly some guest thought she was beating up George W. Bush at a party.<\/p>\n<p>She was given one-hour-a-week show on a station in Miami simply because this guest thought she was brilliant in her hatred for George W. Bush. And then if that happens, then get prepared for a whole lot of people to steal what you say, not just your speeches at the hospital. Jennifer, thanks very much. And I wasn\u2019t trying to be insulting about where you live. I mean, I am a Pennsylvania expert. I just had not heard of East Fallowfield. So my bad.
