CALLER: Well, thank you, Rush. I\u2019ve been listening to you since 1989. I\u2019m a retired Marine, I\u2019m a conservative, and I agree with you most of the time.<\/p>\n

RUSH: When\u2019s the last time you agreed with me? What was it?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, I\u2019ll tell you what, just a couple of minutes ago. I agreed with you 100% on the Fairness Doctrine, and I\u2019ll be in your camp. I\u2019ll be calling my senators if they try and force that down your throat.<\/p>\n

RUSH: All right.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Guaranteed.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Thank you.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I also believe in —<\/p>\n

RUSH: Jim, I don\u2019t want to insult you. Let me tell you why you ask me that, because everything you said to start your call with —<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yeah?<\/p>\n

RUSH: — is how Democrats and liberals who want me to think they\u2019re big fans start their calls with. ‘I\u2019ve been listening to you since 1989, 1990, and I\u2019m a conservative, and I agree with you most of the time, but…\u2019 We\u2019ve identified those as seminar callers. CALLER: Yeah, I\u2019ve heard you take those guys on, and you should, but I\u2019m just giving you what the facts are, and I have been listening to you since 1989, and I\u2019m generally a big fan of yours —<\/p>\n

RUSH AND CALLER SIMULTANEOUSLY: But…<\/p>\n

CALLER: — like everything else in life, I\u2019m never right all the time, nor are you, although I know you\u2019re right most of the time.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Close.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Close. That\u2019s right. Well, the only point I was trying to make to your screener was that I think that you\u2019re not right about only a portion of what Lindsey Graham was talking about, and that is, I believe that the crux of the issue obviously, in any of this immigration business has to be, what are you going to do with the illegals that are in this country, the 12 to 14 to 20 million, whatever the number is? I just heard you say it\u2019s simple. We just enforce the current laws. Well, the current law says that they\u2019re here illegally, we\u2019re going to deport \u2019em, and there\u2019s no way that we can do that.<\/p>\n

RUSH: That\u2019s not what I said. Nobody\u2019s talking about deportation.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, but that\u2019s what the current laws are.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Ah, but the current law also I\u2019m referring to is border security. Stop the invasion! Stop the invasion, then we deal with the 12 to 20 and figure out what to do with them, but stop the invasion, besides, this bill was going to make the 12 to 20, 55 to 60 million. We gotta stop the invasion here. If we\u2019re going to have immigration, we need to go out and find the best people around the country and around the world, legal immigration, increase the skilled and educated that come into this country; protect and defend the culture of the United States for the future of those not even conceived and born yet. When we talk about enforce the law, the border. Border security. Stop the invasion and then deal with everything else, and the fact that our senators don\u2019t want to do that — and you heard Senator Grahamnesty say it isn\u2019t going to happen because the Democrats don\u2019t want it to happen. Well, hell\u2019s bells! What does that tell us? The Democrats don\u2019t want to stop the invasion, because that\u2019s their new collection of victim voters.
