RUSH: As you know, I am the man who runs the country, and I have to be dealt with, quote, unquote, Trent Lott. So each day I make pronouncements over what will happen in this country, because I am the man who runs the country. You know it, and I know it. <\/p>\n

So here are today\u2019s announcements. A-hem. Every senator who voted for this immigration hoax will have to have a town hall meeting with 100 noncitizens on the legal waiting list. The 100 will have total access to every one of these senators, and they will be able to ask them, ‘We are playing by the rules. What\u2019s wrong with us? Why can\u2019t we get Z cards immediately, too? Why are those of us trying to get into your country legally being denied this opportunity and being limited in our numbers, where people who are not playing by the rules are being granted instant access? What is this touch back they\u2019re going to have to do? Mr. Senator, how is this going to work?\u2019 By the way, can I make a point about that? Has anybody stopped to think… this just hit me this morning. We keep hearing that, well, we can\u2019t deport 12 million people, who do you think you are? Why, we couldn\u2019t round them up. ‘Why, we can\u2019t deport 15, 20 million people. We can\u2019t do it.\u2019 Well, how the hell are we going to make all these people go back to their home countries, touch back and come back in? If we can\u2019t deport \u2019em, how we going to deport \u2019em? Obviously we can deport \u2019em. <\/p>\n

This is something that Senator Lindsey Grahamnesty of South Carolina says, ‘Hey, this is a big deal in the bill. Why, this addresses many people\u2019s concerns.\u2019 (Laughing.) Yeah, but we keep hearing we can\u2019t round them up. We don\u2019t know where they are. They\u2019re living in the shadows. How we gonna find them then to deport them if we can\u2019t deport them? This is just more of the snake oil that\u2019s being sent our way. By the way, each of these town halls with these legal applicants, applicants for legal entry to the country will be televised. Each senator will answer, among other things, why are those playing by the rules considered to be the stupid ones and the ones not playing by the rules considered to be the smart ones? Why are those still waiting to get into the country legally, why can\u2019t we get Z visas, too? And another question that they will be allowed to ask, ‘How is it that a great country such as the United States of America can have such dumb senators?\u2019 Depending on their cooperation, the senators\u2019 cooperation or lack of cooperation, later this week as the man who runs the country, you know it, and I know it, will decide whether or not to keep them in office. Well, if they say I\u2019m running the country, then I\u2019m going to run the country. With no pay cut.
