RUSH: We have word, ladies and gentlemen, of what President Obama thinks the potential presidential run of Oprah Winfrey.<\/p>\n
And I\u2019m gonna tell you, the fact that the Democrats and the media, the left, are all-in on Oprah proves how vacant their party actually is.\u00a0 But then you have to ask yourself, there are real Democrats, elected Democrats, Washington, D.C., Democrats who want this gig, they want to be president, they want to run for president, they want to beat Trump.<\/p>\n
How many people have the Democrats told to stand aside for Obama in 2008?\u00a0 How many Democrats were told to stand aside for Hillary in 2008?\u00a0 That\u2019s the question.\u00a0 Most of them were told stand aside, it\u2019s Hillary\u2019s turn, but Obama didn\u2019t listen.\u00a0 And we get to 2016 and everybody was told to stand aside for Hillary.\u00a0 Now it\u2019s really her turn.\u00a0 And in both 2008 and 2016 there were a lot of Democrats that wanted to run but they stood aside.<\/p>\n

Are they gonna stand aside again? When we get to 2020 are the Democrats gonna say to all of their proven electoral heavyweights, ahem, stand aside for Oprah?\u00a0 I\u2019m not so sure.\u00a0 But, at any rate, white comedian Paul Shanklin has put together here a little ditty on Barack Obama and — well, wait a minute.\u00a0 Is this Obama on this or not?\u00a0 I\u2019m confusing my O\u2019s.\u00a0 Let\u2019s just listen.<\/p>\n

CALLER:\u00a0 Where has Oprah been for the last 18, 20 years?\u00a0 Did she just finally pull her head out of the sand?<\/p>\n
RUSH:\u00a0 No, I… (sigh)\u00a0 I don\u2019t think that if Oprah\u2019s even thinking about this, that she thinks Bill Clinton or Hillary would be a factor if she runs.<\/p>\n
CALLER:\u00a0 Well, I\u2019m just saying, you know, \u2019cause less than two years Hillary was endorsing a woman who basically disparaged women for creating allegations against her husband.\u00a0 And now she wants to stand with all these other women?<\/p>\n
RUSH:\u00a0 Well, remember, these people do not… They\u2019re not accustomed to hypocrisy attaching itself to them.\u00a0 They never get caught up in it.\u00a0 I mean, they\u2019re never held to account on hypocrisy.\u00a0 She\u2019s got a bigger problem than Hillary, I think, with all the pictures that she\u2019s got of kissing and snuggling up to Harvey Weinstein.<\/p>\n
CALLER:\u00a0 Exactly.\u00a0 I saw all those too, and how she didn\u2019t know all this was going on in Hollywood for the length of time she was there?\u00a0 Oh, come on! Give me a break.\u00a0 She knew full well it was going.<\/p>\n
RUSH:\u00a0 Well, let me ask quickly.\u00a0 I don\u2019t have much.\u00a0 Do you have any thoughts on the president\u2019s meeting with the Democrats and Republicans on immigration?<\/p>\n
CALLER:\u00a0 Well, you know, my only thought on this whole DACA, DREAMer act thing is that the American children have dreams too.\u00a0 My children have dreams.\u00a0 It should have been never done.\u00a0 I feel sorry for these kids, but I also feel sorry for the immigrants who came into this country legally and now are being put on the back burner while the DREAMers get a front row pass.\u00a0 That\u2019s not okay with me.<\/p>\n
