November 5 of 2003, and also December 7th of 2003, on two separate occasions, from Howard Dean, a presidential candidate at the time. This is a montage of things he said on both of those days. He said this.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/01125113.Par.89380.ImageFile.jpg\" width=\"248\" height=\"283\" class=\"alignright\"\/>DEAN: We have gotta stop having our elections in the south based on guns, God and gays!<\/p>\n<p>DEAN: Why can\u2019t we talk about jobs, health care and education, which is what we all have in common, instead of allowing the Republicans to consistently divide us by talking about guns, God, gays, and all this controversial social stuff that we\u2019re not going to come to an agreement on?<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Yep, yep, yep. Why do we have to..? God gets in the mix here and messes everything up. Noooo. All of a sudden now the Democrats think that they have to show you that they believe in God. Here\u2019s John F. Kerry (who served in Vietnam) on February 28, 2004. It\u2019s a debate on CBS, a Democrat presidential debate with Dan Rather. Elisabeth Bumiller of the New York Times says to John Kerry, &#8216;President Bush has said that freedom and fear have always been at war. God is not neutral between them. He\u2019s made clear in his speeches he feels God is on America\u2019s side. Is God on America\u2019s side?\u2019<\/p>\n<p>KERRY: God will&#8230;uh&#8230; Look, I think&#8230; I believe in God, but I don\u2019t believe the way President Bush does in invoking it all the time in that way. I think it is&#8230; We pray that God is on our side, and we pray hard, and God, ummm, has been on our side through most of our existence.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Yeah, well, you sounded like you just agreed with President Bush there. Yeah, &#8216;God has been on our side through most of our existence.\u2019 That was a great follow-up opportunity: Well, when was God not on our side, Senator Kerry? Vietnam? (Laughing.) When you were there?\u2019 When has God not been on our side? Another question, a montage of Kerry talking about God from a debate October 13th, 2004, in Tempe, Arizona.<\/p>\n<p>KERRY: We\u2019re all God\u2019s children. &#8230; They felt God had made them. &#8230; I believe that choice is between a woman, God. &#8230; As I said, I grew up a Catholic. I was an altar boy. &#8230; There\u2019s a great passage of the Bible. &#8230; But I know this, God\u2019s work must truly be our own. He just said that freedom is a gift from the Almighty. Everything is a gift from the Almighty. .. And as I mentioned the words of the Bible, the greatest commandments are love the Lord your God. &#8230; And with faith in God &#8230; And God bless the United States of America.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: I\u2019m sorry, folks, it just doesn\u2019t sound like there\u2019s a whole lot of conviction behind any of this. It sounds like, &#8216;Okay, let me start talking and see if I wander into a substantive thought here by accident.\u2019 It sounds like a roll of the dice with the syllables.
