RUSH: Thank you, sir.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I wanted to talk about the religious forum, quote, unquote, religious forum on CNN.<\/p>\n

RUSH: That was a socialist forum disguised as religion. <\/p>\n

CALLER: Any time they talk about religion, they always pull the feed-the-poor quotes out of the Bible. But what I wanted to talk about was it seems to me that liberals always use religion as sort of something like a faucet that they can turn off and on, depending on any kind of policy that they want to push forward. And the question I have that never seems to get asked at any of these forums is, if you\u2019re not going to use religion as a criteria, what are you going to use? Are you going to use education?<\/p>\n

RUSH: As a criteria for policy making, you mean?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yeah for policy making, yes.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, see that\u2019s where liberals get stuck because no, they\u2019re not. They\u2019re not going to use religion. They\u2019re not going to use personal morality because it might offend somebody, and they\u2019re not going to impose that. Look, this is driven by polling data. This is driven by focus groups, and Democrats are constantly finding out what their weaknesses are, and it\u2019s hit them again that they\u2019re weak in the areas of God, faith, religion, values, and this sort of thing. So voila, here comes CNN with this little forum for them to go out and try to reach out to people who are expressing doubts about them in this particular area.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Sure. All based on polls, of course.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yes.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Rush, we all know polls are for strippers and liberals. That\u2019s about it. It\u2019s never a reflection on society.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yeah, polls are for strippers and liberals, which is one and the same, probably.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yeah. (Laughing.) For the most part, yeah.<\/p>\n

RUSH: That reminds me, they\u2019re getting all over Fred Thompson\u2019s wife because she\u2019s a babe.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yeah, I\u2019ve seen pictures of her, she is.<\/p>\n

RUSH: She\u2019s a babe and there are people out there talking about, ‘Do you think she\u2019s ever danced the pole?\u2019 I kid you not. I was going to do the story yesterday, didn\u2019t get to it, but they\u2019re ripping Fred Thompson because he\u2019s not a good-looking guy. ‘He\u2019s 65 years old, what\u2019s he doing with this good-looking 40-year-old babe? There\u2019s something not right about this.\u2019 Look, liberals, they\u2019re envious as hell of our women, folks. Everybody knows this.
