I\u2019m sitting here smoking my cigar looking at &#8212;<\/line><BR\/> <\/line><BR\/>RUSH: Don\u2019t tell me that. I\u2019m sitting here in a city that doesn\u2019t permit it.<\/line><BR\/> <\/line><BR\/>CALLER: Oh, I\u2019m sorry.<\/line><BR\/> <\/line><BR\/>RUSH: I can\u2019t have my one o\u2019clock cigar here at the EIB building in midtown Manhattan.<\/line><BR\/> <\/line><BR\/>CALLER: Oh, that\u2019s too bad.<\/line><BR\/> <\/line><BR\/>RUSH: Well, it is but we all have to obey the rules of society.<\/line><BR\/> <\/line><BR\/>CALLER: So I have a prediction and a fact. I think Algore\u2019s film, An Inconvenient Truth was a way for him to raise money for his presidential campaign. I think that he\u2019s searching for a mandate where at the 11th hour &#8212; this is my prediction &#8212; he will be pulled to save the world and become the presidential candidate, reluctantly, of course.<\/line><BR\/> <\/line><BR\/>RUSH: Well, the one thing here, you may be right, although he doesn\u2019t need the money from this movie. He has all kinds of money, his Occidental Petroleum. Algore owns oil stock.<\/line><BR\/> <\/line><BR\/>CALLER: (Gasping.)<\/line><BR\/> <\/line><BR\/>RUSH: Algore owns stock in Occidental or his dad was tied up somehow with them, a family trust, something like that, but he\u2019s got Occidental Petroleum. Algore\u2019s done well with stock with Apple or Google or something, I forget. He\u2019s on the board of Apple, but the number I heard thrown around was $65 million.<\/line><BR\/> <\/line><BR\/>CALLER: But that\u2019s his money.<\/line><BR\/> <\/line><BR\/>RUSH: Oh, that\u2019s right! You\u2019re talking about other people\u2019s money to run.<\/line><BR\/> <\/line><BR\/>CALLER: Exactly.<\/line><BR\/> <\/line><BR\/>RUSH: All right, let\u2019s say you\u2019re right. What does this say? You\u2019ve got TIME Magazine out there building Algore up in their most recent issue. What does it say about the Hillary Clinton candidacy, that all these Democrats are waiting for some white knight to ride in and save the day? Apparently Obama\u2019s plummeting a little bit in the polls, Hillary\u2019s not excited. I thought Hillary was a de facto nominee of that party.<\/line><BR\/> <\/line><BR\/>CALLER: But see, at the 11th hour he\u2019ll get pulled in, reluctantly, to save the world. He wants to be the president. He doesn\u2019t have to campaign, he doesn\u2019t have to tick off the Clintons; we\u2019ll pull him out to save us.<\/line><BR\/> <\/line><BR\/>RUSH: He\u2019s already ticked off the Clintons. They don\u2019t get along. Gore blame\u2019s Clinton\u2019s Oval Office escapades for costing him a big sweeping victory in 2000. There\u2019s no love lost between the Clintons and the Gores. By the way, Algore is out there saying that he\u2019s fallen out of love with politics.<\/line><BR\/> <\/line><BR\/>CALLER: Oh, yeah, sure.<\/line><BR\/> <\/line><BR\/>RUSH: I think politics has fallen out of love with Algore.<\/line><BR\/> <\/line><BR\/>CALLER: My prediction. He will be the candidate.<\/line><BR\/> <\/line><BR\/>RUSH: All right.
