RUSH: You know this tax bill? It actually may happen. I\u2019m beginning to get a sense, I\u2019m beginning to get a feeling that this thing is actually going to happen before Christmas. Trump is on his way to Missouri sometime this week to begin the process of pitching it. Trump is admitting that he\u2019s open to some changes perhaps in the way they do the numbers on the pass-through with regard to the reduction in tax rate there. Don\u2019t really know details yet.<\/p>\n

\"\"But the point is there is a lot of flexibility that people are engaging in here. And now all the catcalls are coming that Trump doesn\u2019t care about any of this. All Trump cares about is a vote in the Senate. He doesn\u2019t care about Roy Moore. He doesn\u2019t care about anything good or decent. He just wants a vote in the Senate. That\u2019s a swipe at Trump for endorsing Roy Moore.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>You know, he just doesn\u2019t stop hitting these people. You know, they\u2019re trying to claim he doesn\u2019t have the right to appoint Mulvaney to the CFPB. And he does. He has total constitutional authority to appoint whoever he wants to the CFPB. The CFPB\u2019s a bogus, BS bunch of things anyway. It ought to be disbanded.<\/p>\n

You know, Fauxcahontas created this, and it\u2019s ostensibly to guard against the rip-off tactics of banks and lending institutions and financial institutions who, like every other American corporation, either want to kill their customers or cause their customers to go broke or cause their customers to lose their homes or cause their customers to destroy the planet.<\/p>\n

And so Fauxcahontas comes up with this thing. And of course the Congress rushes to support it and enact it because it happened at a time when there was some financial malfeasance somewhere, and it\u2019s made to look like it was everywhere and omnipresent. But Trump has the total authority, constitutional and otherwise, as the head honcho of the executive branch to put in charge of it whoever he wants.<\/p>\n
