RUSH: From the U.K. Daily Mail<\/a>: “‘Crooked Hillary is the worst (and biggest) loser of all time.'” This is a Donald Trump tweet. He tells Hillary to get on with her life, as she questioned the legitimacy of the election and urges her to try again in three years.<\/p>\n

“President Donald Trump hit out early Saturday at ‘crooked\u2019 Hillary Clinton, his defeated election opponent. Trump called Clinton ‘the worst and biggest\u2019 loser of all time\u2019 for saying that his election victory has ‘lots of questions about its legitimacy.'”<\/p>\n

Folks, do you remember how horrified Hillary pretended to be during the third and final presidential debate last October? Trump said that he would keep us in suspense about whether he\u2019d accept the election results. That was a Chris Wallace question, I believe, and Trump said (paraphrasing), “No, I\u2019m not gonna tell you tonight that I\u2019ll abide by the election result. I don\u2019t know what\u2019s gonna happen between now and then. Have no idea what\u2019s gonna happen.”<\/p>\n

\"\"And you remember how the entire Drive-By Media and Democrat Party and, hell, some Republicans descended on Trump and they accused him of undermining our great and vaunted Democrat process? Donald Trump once again was posing the greatest threat to democracy that any of us had ever seen in the modern era. Because he was saying he would not accept the outcome of the election.<\/p>\n

Trump was very smart. The reason he didn\u2019t say anything — well, there were probably many reasons. But I\u2019m gonna tell you one of the big reasons why, because if Trump had said, “Oh, of course, yes, I will certainly abide by the results,” the story the night of the debate would be, the headline would be: “Trump concedes election.”<\/p>\n

If Trump had said, “Sure. If I lose, I lose. If the election shows that Hillary wins, I certainly will accept the results of the election. Absolutely.” If he\u2019d said that, then the only news there would have been for the next two or three days, “Trump concedes defeat, Trump concedes election, Trump acknowledges impossible dream, Trump acknowledges impossible task, Trump admits can\u2019t win.”<\/p>\n

You get the picture. That\u2019s what they wanted, and they didn\u2019t get it. And they went around talking about what a great threat Trump\u2019s refusal to acknowledge that he wouldn\u2019t accept the results posed to our great democracy. Remember how horrified Hillary pretended to be? She actually said, “That\u2019s horrifying.” And yet here we are a year later, and she still hasn\u2019t accepted the results, and she\u2019s the one undermining our democracy by claiming that it was rigged and there was cheating and that there was collusion.<\/p>\n

Maybe they could create a new PAC or nonprofit called Move On. Oh, wait, there already is one. I\u2019m sorry. You know what the original Move On was? The original MoveOn.org, “Stop all this about Clinton and Lewinsky! It\u2019s time to move on. It\u2019s time to move on from Clinton and the women. It\u2019s time to move on from Clinton and Lewinsky. It\u2019s time to move.” And that\u2019s the origins of MoveOn.org.<\/p>\n

“Trump reacted Saturday to an interview Clinton gave to Mother Jones. Clinton said that Trump\u2019s election victory was tainted because of voter suppression –” Oh, oh, whoa, whoa, wait. Voter suppression? We got a new one! They\u2019re throwing a new thing in the mix here. Voter suppression? And alleged interference by Russia. So Hillary is now citing voter suppression along with Russian meddling, even though there isn\u2019t any evidence of that, either.<\/p>\n

You know what? I won\u2019t be surprised if somewhere down the line she blames global warming. It\u2019s about the only thing that she has left out.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
