Hello.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Hello, Rush.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Hey!<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: I tried to get through last Friday to make my annual contribution to your <a href=\"\/\/home\/daily\/site_042307\/content\/01125114.guest.html\">leukemia fund<\/a> of a dollar for each of the stations, 497, I rounded it up to 500, and I would like to challenge others out there that listen to multiple stations to throw in a dollar for each station.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Well, it\u2019s a shame you missed it by a week. This is the guy who is traveling the country. He\u2019s visiting every city where there is an EIB affiliate.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: That\u2019s right &#8212; and sometimes in Mexico, even. You don\u2019t have any affiliates down there.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: I know. We\u2019ve got some pirate stations in Mexico.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: The last time I talked to you last fall was I was in Mexico, and I meant to tell you that it took me 28 hours to get back across the border. I got there Friday morning at ten and it was Saturday afternoon at two before I got across the border because &#8212; well, the documents weren\u2019t right, and when I got the documents, it was just one page. And on one side of that page was my company name, (unintelligible) America and the address, my name and my home address and the description of the vehicle (unintelligible.) That was it.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: You haven\u2019t learned anything. You did this the entirely wrong way. You tried to come in the legal way.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Yeah, I know. The 28 hours that I was there they tell me that there\u2019s at most ten per hour illegals cross at that same area.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: I know. One of them could have been you.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Two hundred and eighty illegals come in while one fifth-generation American is trying to get back home. You know?<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Are you enjoying&#8230; (Laughing) Funny story. Are you enjoying Santa Barbara? <\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Santa Barbara is beautiful, yes, absolutely.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Where you going next?<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: I\u2019m going to Pendleton, Oregon, and Yakima, Washington.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Oh, Yakima, Washington. You know, when you get to Yakima &#8212; let me tell you about Yakima, Washington, and this is a true story. Yakima, Washington, was the first city in America with 50-gallon trash cans that people could put outside in front of their house for the garbage guys to come pick up.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Is that right?<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Yakima, Washington. Yeah, the big things that you need to put on wheels and roll out, they were the first ones to do that.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Well, then on trash day, I\u2019ll be sure and make a deposit.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: They\u2019re very proud of it up there. Everybody\u2019s gotta be known for something, and everybody has to be somewhere, and you\u2019re going to be there. So you tell \u2019em we all said hi. Paul, this is great. He\u2019s actually traveling the nation. He\u2019s on 497. He\u2019s got about 109 to go, something like that. Paul, how much time are you giving yourself to get this project done?<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Well, I\u2019m going to keep this job traveling around the country in this mobile design center for another six or seven years, and hopefully in that time I can get all those stations. It\u2019s getting harder and harder to get them because, you know, I\u2019ve been to all the popular ones, and all the &#8212;<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Now, now, now, now, now! Don\u2019t go there! See, what he\u2019s saying is, he\u2019s got a business. He\u2019s in a mobile demo van, and he\u2019s been to the big cities. That\u2019s what he\u2019s saying.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Right.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: They\u2019re <emphasize>all <\/emphasize>important, Paul, and they all have Americans in them, and they all have customers. Yeah. (Laughing.) You might not have any business in Odessa, Texas. There may be places you don\u2019t have business, who knows? It\u2019s a great thing that you\u2019re doing.
