\nCALLER: It\u2019s an honor to talk to you. Hey, sometimes you refer to Cookie as a male and sometimes you refer to Cookie as a female, so I\u2019m wondering: is Cookie transgender?<\/p>\n

RUSH: I do not refer to Cookie as a male. Where do you get that?<\/p>\n

CALLER: I heard that one time about three or four weeks ago.<\/p>\n

RUSH: No.<\/p>\n

CALLER: You said ‘he\u2019 by mistake, I guess.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yeah? We don\u2019t have any transgenders that I know of. I mean, there could be some people on the staff that have been through that, but they haven\u2019t told me.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Okay. Fair enough.<\/p>\n

RUSH: No, Cookie is straight-down-the-line female.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Okay. Well, if I misheard, I apologize, but I\u2019m pretty sure one time you did refer to Cookie as he.<\/p>\n

RUSH: No, I didn\u2019t.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Okay.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I\u2019m just going to tell you, I\u2019ve never referred to Cookie as ‘he.\u2019 Why would I do that?<\/p>\n

CALLER: You\u2019d have to ask him.<\/p>\n

RUSH: You know what, you might be confusing Cookie with Koko.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Koko is married to Cookie. Koko runs the website.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Oh, I was thinking Koko was the gorilla.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Koko is the gorilla! Koko is the gorilla at the TV show that now runs the website. He\u2019s the webmaster.<\/p>\n
