CALLER: Thanks for taking my call.<\/p>\n
RUSH: You bet.<\/p>\n

CALLER: So I heard you say that President Trump wasn\u2019t elected to save Obamacare and that it was Hillary Clinton who ran under that position. And then you said that Obamacare was designed to fail, and I was wondering if you could explain that to me.<\/p>\n
RUSH: Yeah. Obamacare was established by Barack Obama and the Democrat Party to eventually fail in its mission of insuring everybody affordably. The purpose of the failure was to then push the nation to single payer —<\/p>\n
CALLER: Ah.<\/p>\n
RUSH: — run entirely by government. Obamacare, as structured, could not succeed. It financially cannot succeed as it is structured. Obama, in a 2007 speech to the Service Employees International Union, told them that he agreed with them, that we need to get single payer, but he said the American people won\u2019t accept it overnight. (paraphrasing) “It may take 10 to 15 years to get there. We have to condition \u2019em along the way.”<\/p>\n
Well, that\u2019s what Obamacare was. Obamacare was pitched as an effort to insure everybody and cheaply and affordably, but it couldn\u2019t. Evidence is, look at all the waivers Obama had to give in order to get the insurance companies to play along. He exempted some of his close corporate buddies from having to meet all of the requirements cause it would bust their bank. But not everybody was exempted or waived, and so it\u2019s now imploding.<\/p>\n
CALLER: Right.<\/p>\n
