RUSH: Thank you, sir, very much. I appreciate that.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Quick question. You probably answered earlier in the show that you don\u2019t think there\u2019s gonna be any legal ramifications associated with the Trump dossier. But I was wondering whether there were actual laws broken associated with Uranium One that you feel the same way. And if you feel the same way, what do you believe the outcome will be if there\u2019s actual legal ramifications associated with that?<\/p>\n

\"\"RUSH: (sigh) Well, I think as a general principle, the image of Hillary Clinton behind bars is one we will not see. I just don\u2019t see it. However, I have a caveat here, and I did address this earlier. I don\u2019t think the timing of these things is coincidental. There\u2019s a reason why somebody blew the lid on the Clinton campaign and the Democrat National Committee. This is not the current leadership. This was Debbie “Blabbermouth” Schultz. She is not there anymore. The Clinton campaign and the DNC and this hoax, this Trump dossier, or this made-up thing…<\/p>\n

By the way, I need to emphasize again, folks: This is not just politics-as-usual.<\/p>\n

This was used to ruin people! That Trump document, that phony intelligence, was used to ruin people — and it is still being used to ruin people. And it has corrupted the intelligence community, it has corrupted the law-enforcement community, it has corrupted the news media. It is simply unacceptably outrageous. You can\u2019t sweep this away with, “Well, Rush, that\u2019s just Washington.” I don\u2019t care if it is! That\u2019s not an acceptable reaction to this. But before this happened, the Democrat Party or the media — somebody — rid themselves of Harvey Weinstein. I don\u2019t think Weinstein and Hillary in this thing are isolated.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Now, on this Hillary and — well, there\u2019s gonna be charges, investigations. Look, we\u2019ve been down this road so many times with the Clintons on investigations that never happen that I don\u2019t even go there anymore, in terms of expectations or hopes. What I do know is that there are serious people with now positions of power that run congressional committees in the House and Senate that are going to look into this. In fact, I am not… I wouldn\u2019t be surprised if Mueller is looking into this. You know, this investigation was impaneled without a crime.<\/p>\n

\"\"So he can find whatever there is to find, and this is clearly suspicious. So I think… I\u2019m holding out possibility and it can happen, but the way I\u2019m also looking at this is that it\u2019s not a coincidence that after 30 years… Folks, Harvey Weinstein\u2019s been doing what he\u2019s been doing for 30 years — and he, at the same time, has been one of the most powerful fundraisers the Democrat Party. He has been inseparable with Barack Obama and Michelle. He\u2019s been inseparable with Bill and Hillary, and especially Bill.<\/p>\n

They have been — and everything that entails. Being tight at the hip with Bill Clinton, with Harvey Weinstein doing what he does, I\u2019m telling you. He raised a lot of money. He gave a lot of money. He gave other people (or told other people) to spend and donate a lot of money. He was at all the official White House functions with the Clintons and the Obamas, portrait unveilings. He was one of the ranking power people with both the Clinton and Obama administrations, and then individually. Now look what\u2019s happened.<\/p>\n

Now the New York Times runs a story on Harvey Weinstein, and it\u2019s over, and that story opened the floodgates, and now Harvey Weinstein\u2019s finished. And he\u2019s not gonna be close to anybody in politics. He\u2019s not gonna be anybody\u2019s chief fundraiser. Now, there\u2019s a reason this happened. They held onto this for 30 years. Remember the reaction everybody had to this: “Everybody knew! Everybody knew — except Matt Damon and Clooney.” For some reason Matt Damon and Clooney didn\u2019t know and now they\u2019re asking themselves how in the heck they could have missed it.<\/p>\n

They\u2019re so confused! They can\u2019t figure out how they missed it all (and they\u2019re making fools of themselves in the process). So, after barely a month here of wall-to-wall “Harvey is a reprobate” stories, all of a sudden we have the Washington Post dropping the dime on Hillary and the DNC responsible for this hoax that Trump colluded with the Russians. Now, the question you have to ask: Why would the Democrats want to get rid of Harvey Weinstein? Why would the media, which runs the Democrat Party…<\/p>\n

The media is the power behind the Democrat Party right now. Whoever made the decision to get rid of Weinstein, why? Was it about to pop and it was gonna be so embarrassing to Democrats and they wanted to get out in front of it and be the ones appearing to discover what a reprobate he was and get rid of it? But they wanted him gone. They don\u2019t want him associated with the Democrat Party any longer for whatever reasons, and I think the same calculation\u2019s been made about the Clintons.<\/p>\n

Somebody somewhere has determined that we gotta get them out of the picture. “I mean, she won\u2019t go away! She keeps writing books, keeps doing this, keeps doing that. She\u2019s hurting us! She\u2019s not letting us move forward. She\u2019s not the face we want anymore of the party.” If they\u2019d a gone away — if they\u2019d just trekked back to Chappaqua and have their fun with the Energizer and Hillary have her fun with whoever — then everything would have been fine. But she won\u2019t go away, and they want her gone, and they think they\u2019ve done everything they can to pay her back.<\/p>\n

\"\"They gave her two shots at winning the Democrat Party nomination and the presidency, and she botched both of \u2019em. They can\u2019t say she was not given her shot. She can\u2019t say that they denied her. She they\u2019ve paid their debt to Hillary Clinton, and now it\u2019s time for her to go. Now, why would that be? Well, if you look at what the primary objective is of the Democrat Party today, it\u2019s getting rid of Donald Trump. The primary objective of the American left — which means the media and the Democrat Party and academia and Hollywood.<\/p>\n

The primary objective is to get rid of Donald Trump, to ruin Donald Trump, to force Donald Trump out of office and to also send a signal to anybody else who might try what Trump did: “Don\u2019t. Because what we\u2019re doing to Trump, we could do it to you.” So there\u2019s a lot tied up in getting rid of Trump. Now, if you\u2019re gonna get rid of Trump, and you\u2019re gonna use certain techniques — if you\u2019re going to rely on certain strategies to get rid of Trump — then it seems to me you better not have anybody on your side who\u2019s guilty of the same kind of stuff, otherwise you\u2019re just open to charges of hypocrisy.<\/p>\n

So if you\u2019re gonna get rid of Trump on the basis, “Well, he\u2019s unfit, and he\u2019s dishonest, and this and that,” well, my gosh, you\u2019ve got somebody on your side that\u2019s every bit of that and more, and that\u2019s Hillary and Bill Clinton. And they\u2019re tied to Harvey Weinstein, which they can\u2019t hide. So, I mean, it\u2019s just a wild guess, but maybe one of the reasons why they are trying to get rid of Hillary is to make sure they don\u2019t have any hypocrisy problems or other related problems as they continue to go after Trump. But it may not even be that convoluted.<\/p>\n

It may just be they\u2019re sick and tired of her, and she won\u2019t take the cue to go away, and she continues to try to dominate and be the face of the Democrat Party, and they\u2019re fed up with her. They\u2019re just… She\u2019s worn out the welcome. They don\u2019t like her anymore. They\u2019re just not into her anymore. We\u2019ll see. But something\u2019s up, otherwise he wouldn\u2019t have dropped the dime on Weinstein and they wouldn\u2019t have done what they\u2019ve done here exposing Hillary as the (chuckles) agent behind the hoax of the entire… This Trump-Russia collusion has been 99% of the effort to get rid of Trump, and they have just effectively admitted that the whole thing was a hoax, that for a year they\u2019ve been pursuing things that didn\u2019t happen.<\/p>\n
