CALLER: Rush, as far as you being the number one talk radio —<\/p>\n

RUSH: By consensus. That\u2019s by fact and consensus both.<\/p>\n

CALLER: That\u2019s my consensus, too, Rush. I hear you talking, and it brings back the point in the first part of World War II, the dark days when we had Edward R. Murrow keeping us informed of what was going on in the war against Germany. Here, we have you keeping us informed on what\u2019s going on in the war against terrorism — and you go a step further. You\u2019re warning the American people what\u2019s going to happen if they don\u2019t get their head out the sand, and thank God we have you.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Wow. You have just called me the modern-day Edward R. Murrow.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, I feel that way.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, I\u2019m glad you do. (chuckles) You realize how many liberals in this audience have just blown a gasket?<\/p>\n
