‘A survey on climate change conducted in more than a dozen countries found that a majority of people in nations including South Korea, Australia, Iran and Mexico – but not the United States – view global warming as a critical threat.\u2019 Thank you, Rush. Folks, this is what I mean by my country needing me. If I weren\u2019t here on this, do you realize how many of you people would have been duped simply because you are open receptacles for guilt? ‘In the U.S., about 46 percent of those questioned said global warming is critical, while four in 10 labeled it &lsquo;an important but not critical threat,\u2019 in the survey conducted by The Chicago Council on Global Affairs and WorldPublicOpinion.org, in cooperation with other polling organizations. Among the other countries where the question was asked, the Ukraine was the only nation where less than four in 10 participants found global warming to be a critical threat. There, it was 33 percent. &hellip; The survey, which was released Tuesday, was first conducted in the United States, China and India. When organizations in other countries expressed interest, the effort was expanded.\u2019 So we still have hope out there. Less than 50% think that it\u2019s a serious, critical threat. Again, thank you, Rush. <\/p>\n

Jennifer Garner. You know, folks, I have to tell you, I remember when Walter Payton died — Number 34, the Chicago Bears. I\u2019ll never forget Virginia McCaskey — the daughter of George Halas, at a press conference after Walter Payton had died — in tears. And carbon credits, ladies and gentlemen! They\u2019re one of the biggest scams to come down the pike in a long time, carbon credits. The creators of the carbon credit scheme are cashing in on it. The two creators of the carbon scheme are Maurice Strong and Algore. Now, the name Maurice Strong<\/a> is not widely known in general public circles, but Maurice Strong is one of the wealthiest and most private manipulators of world politics. He was in charge of the Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro in 1992. Remember, we had a correspondent down there? The former Washington state governor, Dixie Lee Ray, went down there, and she had fallen out of favor with environmentalist wackos. Let me just give you a quote from Maurice Strong, who was heading up the 1992 Earth Summit in Rio: <\/p>\n

Sheila Jackson Lee yesterday, she\u2019s all upset Halliburton is leaving because they\u2019re in her district. Hey, Sheila! Don\u2019t worry about it! Those are ‘jobs Americans won\u2019t do.\u2019 Just get some more illegal immigrants in here and keep Halliburton fully populated in their remaining little office space in Houston. What\u2019s the big deal? Why the panic? ‘Isn\u2019t the only hope for the planet that the industrialized civilizations collapse? It prints out to five pages, but Maurice Strong (born April 29th, 1929, Oak Lake, Manitoba) together with George Soros, is attempting to organize export of the Chevy automobile to China. He was a senior advisor to Kofi Annan, and working in the background as an advisor to powerful world figures. He\u2019s been featured in a number of conspiracy theories. CBC reporter Ann Marie McDonald described<\/a> him ‘as a cross between Rasputin and Machiavelli.\u2019<\/p>\n

But he and Algore created the whole carbon offset scam. A carbon offset is basically this. You have your ‘carbon footprint,\u2019 the way you live your life — your house, how you travel, what you eat and so forth. You can actually go to a website and calculate it. The interesting thing about this website is I cannot put in my actual data. It doesn\u2019t account for things that large. But my carbon offset would be bigger than Gore\u2019s. Let\u2019s say my carbon offset is calculated to be whatever it is. I can send this company the money and they claim they\u2019ll go out and plant trees or invest in an Al Gore-owned company with Maurice Strong that will, in turn, invest in companies that pollute less and so forth and allow me to continue to make my same carbon footprint. That\u2019s what Algore\u2019s doing with his mansion in Nashville. So people are planting trees, but nobody\u2019s reducing! <\/emphasize>No leftists are reducing their actual amounts of pollution. Oh, no, no. They are to be praised for this, and it\u2019s a total scam. Anyway, the Boston Globe<\/a> even has a story about it today. ‘Carbon Confusion – Buying Emission Offsets is a Challenge for Consumers.\u2019 This is about a woman named Sara Demetry who went out and did this and found out it was a total scam.<\/p>\n
