The lyrics went like this: \u201cBarack Hussein Obama, mmm, mmm, mmm.\u201d And: \u201cFor all your great accomplishments, we all do say hooray! Hooray, Mr. President, you are No. 1!\u201d<\/p>\n
Well, teachers aren\u2019t teaching those songs any more. There\u2019s no \u201cHoorays\u201d in schools these days when it comes to the president.<\/p>\n
Lily Eskelsen Garcia, president of the National Education Association, says that Donald Trump is scaring children across the country to tears.<\/p>\n
Ms. Garcia told the National Press Club last week that Trump creates fear in children, and that is unforgivable. She said that \u201cfor the first time in our country\u2019s history \u2014 and I\u2019ve talked to these teachers, she said \u2014 we have to comfort crying children because they are afraid of their president.\u201d<\/p>\n
