CALLER: Hey, Rush, how are you?<\/p>\n

RUSH: Fine, thank you, sir.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Good. I was just trying to make the point how the Clintons are the left\u2019s Nixon in that you have the corruption and abuse of power and cover-ups that I don\u2019t think we will have ever seen on any scale.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I think I understand the point you\u2019re making, but I think to lump Richard Nixon with these people is unfair and unfortunate in terms of dirty tricks and this kind of thing. Nixon had his share of liberal policies, gave us a whole bunch of federal agencies that we could do without, but Nixon couldn\u2019t hold a candle to these people. If you want to find out who has influenced these people the most, look up the name Saul Alinsky. He was a Chicago nomad whose whole objective in life was disrupting and destroying societies and cultures for the purpose of establishing your own power over them. The late Barbara Olson wrote a biography of Hillary detailing how closely she followed the teachings of this nutcase, and I remember a web post, Kyle-Anne Shiver at American Thinker today, we\u2019ve gotta link to that, because this would be a good place for you to just get a brief overview of Saul Alinsky if you never heard of him. Kyle-Anne Shiver of the American Thinker today has a great piece on this, and I\u2019m just going to highlight one thing she talks about. <\/p>\n

One of the techniques that Alinsky has advocated be used against people you need to destroy is ridicule, because there\u2019s no response to it. When you get ridiculed and made fun of, that\u2019s the toughest thing to have a response to because everybody\u2019s laughing at you, and they\u2019re ridiculing Obama. They\u2019re ridiculing him in any number of ways, and you see how he\u2019s responding. He\u2019s responding, ‘We need to stop this kind of campaigning.\u2019 In order to execute the strategeries and the policies of Saul Alinsky, you cannot have a soul, you cannot have a conscience, because your sole objective is to destroy people and ruin them. Nixon wasn\u2019t about that, maybe some in the media, but Nixon was just paranoid. Nixon wanted to be loved by these people. The Clintons already are. They pulled that off.
