You know this guy resigned today? (interruption) Well, I don\u2019t know if he\u2019s been reassigned or if he\u2019s been called home, but they\u2019re sending a new guy over to replace him sometime next month. (interruption) Well, no, I don\u2019t know that&#8230; Kislyak, I think, has done his job. (laughing) I think he\u2019s not going to the gulag. The guy\u2019s probably coming back to get the Order of Lenin medal. All this guy ever did was go to lunch! I mean, that\u2019s what he\u2019s known for.<\/p>\n<p>Kislyak went to lunch with people, and after lunch he went to cocktail parties, and apparently everybody in the Trump team told him every secret in the world. If you listen to the media, this Kislyak guy found a way to get Mike Flynn to unload everything he knew, then Roger Stone, then Paul Manafort, and then who the hell else. Carter Page. Jared Kushner. Jeff Sessions. I mean, this guy was all over! All he did was eat, and at every meal there were Trump conspirators dining with him, unloading on everything. He seems to be the focus of all this as the media has said.<\/p>\n<p>The guy looks like a buffoon. Have you ever seen this guy? He really&#8230; I mean, we\u2019re not supposed to note things like that. We leave that to the left. But, I mean, you can\u2019t avoid it. He looks like Alfred E. Neuman with a hundred more pounds, in a way. Now, you Millennials may not know who Alfred E. Neuman is, although you might. Mad magazine might be a hip thing. Anyway, here\u2019s Kushner. We have three sound bites. This is outside the White House after he got back from the interrogation, after he got back from the grilling, after he got back from his time on Capitol Hill. Where, no doubt, the media was expecting them to sweat the truth out of this guy.<\/p>\n<p>He was gonna finally unload and give everybody the dirt on how Trump cheated with the Russians!<\/p>\n<p>But, alas, it didn\u2019t happen.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/95FKMb5_Tw4\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>KUSHNER: When my father-in-law decided to run for president, I served his campaign the best I could because I believe in him and his ability to improve the lives of all Americans. He doesn\u2019t ever look excited? No, he doesn\u2019t, but that\u2019s an appropriate thing to say. I mean, it\u2019s an appropriate thing. It probably is. (summarized) &#8220;My father-in-law decided to run for president after I told him to do it, he served his campaign the best I could because I believe in him and his ability improve the lives of all Americans, and I want to help. Now serving my father-in-law and the president and the people of the United States has been an honor and privilege.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It\u2019s the honor and privilege of a lifetime. I am so grateful for the opportunity to work on important matters like Middle East peace and reinvigorating America\u2019s innovative spirit. I come to work with enthusiasm and excitement for what can be.&#8221; Drat! This guy is supposed to be broken! He\u2019s supposed to be trembling! He\u2019s supposed to be begging for mercy! Don\u2019t tell me the Democrats blew it again in the interrogation.<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s the next sound bite&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignright wp-image-241900\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rushlimbaugh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/KushnerStatement.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"267\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.rushlimbaugh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/KushnerStatement.jpg 594w, https:\/\/www.rushlimbaugh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/KushnerStatement-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/>KUSHNER: I have been consistent in saying that I was eager to share any information I have with the investigating bodies, and I\u2019ve done so today. The record in documents I have voluntarily provided will show that all of my actions were proper and occurred in the normal course of events of a very unique campaign. Let me be very clear: I did not collude with Russia, nor do I know of anyone else in the campaign who did so. I had no improper contacts. I have not relied on Russian funds for my businesses. And I have been fully transparent in providing all requested information. Donald Trump had a better message and ran a smarter campaign, and that is why he won. Suggesting otherwise ridicules those who voted for him.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: And that is the best point of all of this. What this continues to be is a major, major insult and dose of high contempt for the people that elected Trump. That\u2019s exactly what this is. It is a slap in the face that has not stopped. &#8220;Trump could not have won this! People that supported him are minor, they\u2019re dupes, they\u2019re idiots. There are not very many of them.&#8221; Kushner is exactly right. It ridicules the people that voted for him, and it claims they\u2019re not serious and they were tricked and they were befuddled and they were manipulated and all this.<\/p>\n<p>This is a pretty broad-ranging denial of everything. If there\u2019s evidence to the contrary here, the guy\u2019s in trouble, because this is a broad, broad-range denial. Let me ask, folks&#8230; I don\u2019t expect you to shot the answer so I can hear it. It\u2019s a retorical question. What he said there, fine and dandy. But does it make you nervous that he has to say it? Does it sound defensive? I\u2019m just asking. Do not infer from any what I\u2019m saying what I think &#8212; or does it sound like, &#8220;Good! They\u2019re fighting back. Good! They\u2019re ramming it back righted in the Democrats\u2019 face. Good!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>How do you hear this? (interruption) It doesn\u2019t sound defensive. It doesn\u2019t sound defensive. The charges are all over the place, been out there for a year. At some point, they have to be answered and responded to. Kushner\u2019s going out and doing it, and I assume what he said today is simply a condensation of everything he said today in the hearing. (The interrogation.) Here\u2019s the final bite. This actually Dana Bash. Now, this is an example of how they misread the Trump phenomenon. Jared\u2019s point about insulting Trump voters? I knew that that was gonna resonate with the media.<\/p>\n<p>They\u2019re gonna hate that, because it\u2019s the one thing about this&#8230; You know, if you get right down to it, if you boil this all down, one of the things that all of these establishment types in the media, Democrat Party, even some elected Republicans&#8230; What they just can\u2019t stand is that so many people voted for Trump. That\u2019s why they\u2019re trying to concoct this whole cheat and collusion mechanism, \u2019cause they can\u2019t believe it! They can\u2019t believe that they do not have sway or influence over this many millions of Americans.<\/p>\n<p>And because they don\u2019t have sway or influence, this many million Americans must be a bunch of dopes! They must be a bunch of rubes! They must be so dumb and stupid that they can\u2019t possibly be reached by the Drive-By Media. In addition to everything else, do not doubt me: This is a major craw that they think they hold sway over public opinion. They think they are able to make it, shape it, bend it, flake it, form it. And the Trump voters spoke up in random, utter denial. And they just haven\u2019t been able to come to grips with that, either.<\/p>\n<p>That group of people that voted for Trump, as far as the media and the establishment is concerned? That\u2019s a whole document speaks for itself country of people. That\u2019s a whole different universe people. Those are not Americans! Those are not the people we think of when they think of Americans. Hayseed hicks and what Obama called the bitter clingers. But Kushner is right: Suggesting that this election is illegitimate ridicules and insults everybody that voted for Trump.<\/p>\n<p>That is a big reason why Trump voters are never gonna fall for this collusion story and are never gonna buy into this notion that the Russians rigged it with Trump. They\u2019re never gonna buy into it, because it makes them illegitimate, and they are not illegitimate. You people that voted for Trump are not illegitimate and they\u2019re trying to make you illegitimate by virtue of claiming that Trump\u2019s election was. So Dana Bash was on Wolf Blitzer this afternoon. She spoke about Kushner\u2019s comment that Trump won because he had a better message and that anyone saying otherwise ridicules his voters.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignright wp-image-241903\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rushlimbaugh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/DanaBushJared.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"350\" height=\"194\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.rushlimbaugh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/DanaBushJared.jpg 422w, https:\/\/www.rushlimbaugh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/DanaBushJared-300x166.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 350px) 100vw, 350px\" \/>BASH: We often talk about when people go out and speak for this president they are speaking for an audience of one.<\/p>\n<p>BORGER: (chortling)<\/p>\n<p>BASH: That line was for that audience. This is for you, um, you know, father-in-law, Mr. President. Y\u2019know, &#8220;I believe that anybody who questions the legitimacy of your election is belittling your voters.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Do you believe that? Do you understand what she just said that? She said that Kushner delivered that line for one person, for Trump. She said, &#8220;We often talk about when people go out and speak for this president, they\u2019re speaking for an audience of one. &#8216;This is for you, Father-in-law, Mr. President. You know, I believe that anybody that questions the legitimacy of your election belittling your voters.'&#8221; That\u2019s not at all what he was doing.<\/p>\n<p>These people do not have the slightest idea of the real connection that exists between Trump &#8212; the bond that exists between Trump &#8212; and his voters, and by extension, Kushner and anybody else out there speaking for him. What a laugh, that Kushner was saying all of that just for Trump? You know what the implication there is? You know what she\u2019s trying to imply? That Trump is a child, that Trump essentially &#8212; when we don\u2019t see him &#8212; is in the crib with his diapers on, and everybody knows we have to treat him like a child.<\/p>\n<p>We have to make him think he\u2019s the only guy in the room. We have to make him think we all love him. We have to make him think that he\u2019s the only person that matters to us. (This is how they think of the guy.) They haven\u2019t the slightest clue. Dana, Kushner was talking to you! Kushner was talking to every damn one of you people in the media. You\u2019re the ones trying to advance this idea is that all of this is illegitimate. He doesn\u2019t have to tell Trump this. Trump already knows it.<\/p>\n<p>They think Trump is this squishy mass of insecurity, masked by narcissistic ego, and he has to be carefully massaged and talked to each day to keep him from blowing up and going nuts. And that\u2019s what Kushner was doing. &#8220;Don\u2019t worry, father-in-law, we\u2019re looking out for you. We care about you. We know that they\u2019re insulting you,&#8221; blah, blah. I don\u2019t know how you could be further off the mark. But it\u2019s just further evidence, folks, they don\u2019t get the bond. And it\u2019s not just the bond that Trump has with his audience.<\/p>\n<p>They\u2019ve never understood the bond that you in this audience have for this program or any other media. They don\u2019t understand it. They don\u2019t understand the Fox News audience. What do they do to that? They ridicule that audience by ridiculing Fox, by making fun of people that work at Fox. They ridicule the people that watch it. And they wonder why they create so much animosity for themselves. They haven\u2019t the slightest clue. If they do understand it, it\u2019s even worse, because this is a knowing insult. This was just this morning. &#8220;Jared Kushner Said He Got a Random Email Demanding Ransom Over Trump\u2019s Tax Returns &#8212; Jared Kushner said he received a &#8216;random email\u2019 during the 2016 presidential race from someone who threatened to release President Trump\u2019s tax returns and [whoever this was] demanded ransom to keep the information secret. Kushner said he interpreted the email as a hoax, and that he showed it to a Secret Service agent, who instructed him to ignore it.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The email, sent by &#8216;Guccifer400,\u2019 allegedly demanded payment in bitcoin, an online currency. He said &#8216;Guccifer400\u2019 never contacted him again after the initial message.&#8221; Kushner said, &#8220;I had no improper contacts. I have no relied on Russian funds for my businesses in the private sector,&#8221; blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. You know, the Trump tax returns ,I think, are a large part of this. &#8216;Cause I think these people &#8212; like Pencil Neck Schiff and Chuck You Schumer and all of the rest of them.<\/p>\n<p>I really do think that they think that Trump\u2019s tax returns are the way they\u2019re gonna get him. It\u2019s Trump\u2019s tax returns that they\u2019re going to be able to show his nefarious connections with Russian businessmen and oligarchs or whatever else they might dig up. You know, the casino business in New Jersey is not exactly choirboys you do business with them.
