Anyway, Stan in San Francisco, you\u2019re up, sir, welcome to the program.<\/line><BR\/>CALLER: Thank you, Rush. Greetings from one of the 99 conservative Republicans in her speakership\u2019s district.<\/line><BR\/>RUSH: (Laughing.)<\/line><BR\/>CALLER: There were a hundred of us until it was clear she was going to be speaker, and then one of them died.<\/line><BR\/>RUSH: (Laughing.) And that was probably why.<\/line><BR\/>CALLER: Yeah, oh, I\u2019m sure. I wanted to get your take. I missed you yesterday because I was on an airplane, but I wanted to get your take on Schwarzenegger\u2019s insurance <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/Calif. Gov Calls for Universal Coverage\">plan<\/a> for the world.<\/line><BR\/><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/rush_is_right.Par.0002.ImageFile.jpg\" width=\"176\" height=\"178\" class=\"alignright\"\/> RUSH: Well, there are two plans. The first plan is &#8212; and, by the way, you spell this M-a-r-i-a. <\/line><BR\/>CALLER: (Laughing.)<\/line><BR\/>RUSH: But there are two plans: Maria. You just spell it as Maria.<\/line><BR\/>CALLER: I understood.<\/line><BR\/>RUSH: No, Snerdley was looking at me like he didn\u2019t get it.<\/line><BR\/>CALLER: (Laughing.)<\/line><BR\/>RUSH: Or how about: w-i-f-e.<\/line><BR\/>CALLER: (Laughing.) That\u2019s it. He got that one, huh?<\/line><BR\/>RUSH: Well, but she\u2019s a Kennedy.<\/line><BR\/>CALLER: Yeah.<\/line><\/p>\n<p><BR\/>RUSH: She\u2019s a Shriver, and Arnold\u2019s in California. He\u2019s been captivated by the fact that it\u2019s a liberal-moderate state.<\/line><BR\/>CALLER: Well, and she\u2019s back at the compound now for a while.<\/line><BR\/>RUSH: She\u2019s back in the compound? Well, I\u2019m half joking about Maria. I think this is predictable. If you\u2019re not conservative, you\u2019re going to become a liberal. <\/line><BR\/>CALLER: (Laughing.)<\/line><BR\/>RUSH: If an organization is not conservative, it will become liberal. <\/line><BR\/>CALLER: Yes.<\/line><BR\/>RUSH: That\u2019s a profundity. It\u2019s a philosophy. It\u2019s not an assertion, not an opinion. If something by definition doesn\u2019t strive to be conservative, it will become liberal. At any rate, there are two health care proposals. One is for health care insurance for every child in California, including those of illegal immigrants, and then the second one is health care for everybody. Isn\u2019t that right? He wants universal coverage for everybody in the state of California.<\/line><BR\/><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/rush_is_right.Par.0007.ImageFile.jpg\" width=\"200\" height=\"158\" class=\"alignleft\"\/>CALLER: Including illegal aliens.<\/line><BR\/>RUSH: Yes. Yes, of course. Which, of course, the people voted down in Prop 187 but the judge said it\u2019s unconstitutional. <\/line><BR\/>CALLER: Mmmm.<\/line><BR\/>RUSH: He\u2019s gone green on the environment. All you have to understand about this is what Arnold said he wants to do next. He said he wants to take the best of conservatism and the best of liberalism and form a new ideology that contains the best of both and create this new centrist movement that takes the best from both liberal and conservative ideology. Well, when you compromise with a liberal, you become liberal, and that\u2019s what\u2019s happening here. <\/line><BR\/>Look, I don\u2019t know him. I\u2019ve met Arnold, I\u2019ve been around him, twice, three times, and I\u2019ll tell you the first time. It was when they were opening, he, Bruce Willis and Sly Stallone &#8212; but he wasn\u2019t there at that night, they were opening &#8212; the Planet Hollywood in Dallas, back in the nineties, and invited me down there. At the party before we drove over to the restaurant, it was at the hotel where they were all staying &#8212; by the way, Anna Nicole Smith was there and Charlie Sheen. Anna Nicole Smith, if she was a weather girl that night and standing on the East Coast doing the weather, you wouldn\u2019t have been able to see California. <\/line><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>RUSH: Stan in San Francisco.
