Oh, wait \u2019til you hear this. This is shaping up so sweet. This is gonna be&#8230; Folks, trust me. Right now, this is gonna sound like it\u2019s an absolute disaster, and I\u2019m telling you this is a golden opportunity contained in this. Let\u2019s go in order. This is Trump at the White House working lunching with military members. It looked like it was in the Cabinet Room, but it was during a working lunch with military members. Trump speaking about the effort to repeal and replace Obamacare, sound bite number one&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/AAgWCxIjBTI\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>THE PRESIDENT: I am very disappointed because, again, even as a civilian for seven years I\u2019ve been hearing about health care, and I\u2019ve been hearing about &#8220;repeal and replace,&#8221; and &#8220;Obamacare is a total disaster. &#8221; I\u2019ve been saying that &#8212; Mike, I think you\u2019ll agree &#8212; for a long time. &#8220;Let Obamacare fail. It will be a lot easier, and I think we\u2019re probably in that position where we\u2019ll just let Obamacare fail.&#8221; We\u2019re not gonna own it. I\u2019m not gonna own it. I can tell you the Republicans are not gonna own it. We\u2019ll let Obamacare fail and then the Democrats are gonna come to us and they\u2019re gonna say, &#8220;How do we fix it? How do we fix it?&#8221; or, &#8220;How do we come up with a new plan?&#8221; For so many years, I\u2019ve been hearing &#8220;repeal and replace.&#8221; I\u2019m sitting in the Oval Office right next door &#8212; pen in hand &#8212; waiting to sign something. And I\u2019ll be waiting, and eventually, we\u2019re gonna get something done, and it\u2019s gonna be very good. But Obamacare is a big failure.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: (laughing) &#8220;Eventually, we\u2019re gonna get something done.&#8221; Okay. So you heard President Trump there expressing the frustration he been hearing for seven years. It\u2019s bad. He\u2019s been watching for seven years. They vote to repeal. Now they can\u2019t vote to repeal it! He\u2019s saying, &#8220;I\u2019m not gonna own it.&#8221; He knows what\u2019s going on. He knows that he\u2019s up against an entrenched elite establishment which is trying to get him out of office, the silent coup. And he\u2019s telling them, &#8220;You people, you\u2019re lying to constituents. I\u2019m not. You\u2019re telling them you\u2019re gonna do things and you don\u2019t do \u2019em, and I\u2019m not taking the heat for it.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I\u2019ve tried to work with you. I\u2019ve tried to do this. I\u2019ve tried to come through with what you said you wanted to do. You wanted to repeal Obamacare; you wanted to replace it. I\u2019ve tried to work with you but you have no interest in it. Okay, I\u2019m gonna let it fail. We\u2019re just gonna let it fail now, and I am not gonna own it.&#8221; You can hear the frustration there, can you not? (interruption) Did you hear frustration? (interruption) You did, right? (interruption) Did you hear it, or not? I don\u2019t want mislead anybody. To me, I heard it.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Well, we\u2019ll let Obamacare fail. The Democrats are gonna come to us; they\u2019re gonna say, &#8216;How do we fix it? How do we fix it?'&#8221; You know, it\u2019s interesting how this is all shaping out. Now it\u2019s the Democrats who are upset that Trump\u2019s gonna let it fail! It\u2019s their baby. Obamacare was great, remember? I remember Pelosi practically singing on the day that they signed it into law that Obamacare bill. They had the Democrats&#8230; Debbie &#8220;Blabbermouth&#8221; Schultz had her own Greyhound bus to take her and her select few up to the White House for the signing ceremony, and they were as happy as they could be.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-239203 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rushlimbaugh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/650-031017-Stop-The-Tape.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"650\" height=\"310\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.rushlimbaugh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/650-031017-Stop-The-Tape.jpg 650w, https:\/\/www.rushlimbaugh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/650-031017-Stop-The-Tape-300x143.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 650px) 100vw, 650px\" \/>Pelosi was saying, &#8220;Affordable health care for all Americans. Affordable health care for all!&#8221; And I\u2019m saying to myself, &#8220;Does she really think that\u2019s what they did there? Is she that ignorant? Does she not know that that\u2019s the last thing it is? It\u2019s not &#8216;affordable,\u2019 and it won\u2019t be for &#8216;all Americans.'&#8221; There\u2019s a part of me that believes these leftist Democrats are so isolated and so unattached to reality and so emotionally invested in their government is god and does not do anything wrong, they just think, &#8220;We passed a health care bill and the government\u2019s gonna provide health care for everybody, and we sign it, and magic happens!<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Affordable health care for all Americans,&#8221; and then when people oppose it, they can\u2019t figure out why. &#8220;It\u2019s affordable health care for all Americans,&#8221; and it isn\u2019t. So it bombed. Obamacare\u2019s in a death spiral; it\u2019s spiraling down. You know the details. Premiums are unaffordable. Deductibles are so high that even people who have policies, many of them can\u2019t afford to use their policies. So they effectively don\u2019t have insurance. It\u2019s like a feature in your phone. If you don\u2019t know how to use the feature, the feature may as well not even be there, right? So big whoop.<\/p>\n<p>So if you have insurance but you can\u2019t use it because the deductible is too high, then you may as well not have it, and yet you\u2019ve paid for it, or somebody has paid for it for you. But you still can\u2019t use it. The exchanges are shutting down, insurance companies are pulling out, premiums are going up 43% &#8212; and if we don\u2019t repeal this, that\u2019s gonna continue! And this was the savior of the world of health care. The Democrats sold this as a one-time fix that was going to be a panacea, and now it\u2019s imploding. Because it was designed to!<\/p>\n<p>It was designed to implode with a Democrat in the White House. The last thing they ever thought was that Trump or a Republican was gonna win in 2016. So a Democrat (most likely Hillary) was gonna be in, and at the time it implodes, saving the day with single payer was the order of the day. Except now there\u2019s a monkey wrench in the works, and that is the Republicans are in the White House, and they have no intention of going single payer. I say that. Trump doesn\u2019t. I\u2019m not sure about Republicans.<\/p>\n<p>So let\u2019s skip number 18 because that\u2019s just Trump saying that the solution here is electing more Republicans in 2018. We don\u2019t&#8230; Maybe in the Senate, yeah, but that\u2019s not the problem here. The problem is not &#8220;not enough Republicans.&#8221; Are you kidding me? That\u2019s not the problem. The problem is quite simple. The Republicans that are there don\u2019t want to repeal this because they see the world through the eyes of the left. Okay, so Steny Hoyer on CNN this afternoon during a conversation about Trump saying, &#8220;Let Obamacare fail. We\u2019re not gonna own it.&#8221; Steny Hoyer, number two in the House on the Democrat side.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-241153\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rushlimbaugh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/650-071817-Steny-Hoyer.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"650\" height=\"310\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.rushlimbaugh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/650-071817-Steny-Hoyer.jpg 650w, https:\/\/www.rushlimbaugh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/650-071817-Steny-Hoyer-300x143.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 650px) 100vw, 650px\" \/>HOYER: What he promised the American people, uh, was insurance for everybody at a lower cost and better quality. His party controls the House, it controls the Senate, and it controls the presidency. If it fails to deliver that, uh, then the American people ought to hold them accountable.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: You people broke it. You people passed a piece of legislation that you promised was the panacea. It was the magical fix for health care once and for all. It was &#8220;affordable health care for all Americans,&#8221; and it was going to insure all of the uninsured and it was going to let you keep your doctor if you like your doctor &#8212; and it was gonna let you keep your insurance plan if you like your insurance plan.<\/p>\n<p>The American people were lied to over and over again from the Oval Office by the president &#8212; by you, Hoyer &#8212; by Pelosi, by every one of you Democrats. You even lied to your fellow Democrats about abortion possibilities in the bill in order to get it passed. And now Trump has thrown down the gauntlet: &#8220;I\u2019m just gonna let it fail.&#8221; (whining) &#8220;You promised to fix it! You promised to fix it!&#8221; Is that not chutzpah? The Democrats &#8212; who gave us this mess &#8212; are now claiming it\u2019s Trump\u2019s responsibility to fix it.<\/p>\n<p>What is there to fix? Obamacare\u2019s great. Obamacare\u2019s a panacea. Obamacare is from Obama, and Obama\u2019s great and Obama\u2019s a savior and Obama\u2019s the greatest president ever, and Obama\u2019s the smartest president ever, and Obama, we love Obama. And yet it\u2019s a mess, and Trump promised to fix it. All of this \u2019cause Trump said he\u2019s gonna let it fail. Trump said he\u2019s gonna let it fail. Steny Hoyer runs to the nearest camera, &#8220;He promised to fix it. He promised the American people he was gonna lower costs.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Why did we need to lower costs? You people in the Democrat Party gave us a panacea. Why do we need to lower costs? Why did your concoction end up being such a disaster, Hoyer? Hmm? These are the questions the Republicans ought to be asking. Why in the world am I the only one out there saying it? It was designed to collapse private insurance and the middle class so that the only chance they had was single payer, government providing health insurance. That\u2019s the design of Obamacare. And when Trump says he\u2019s gonna let it fail, now Democrats are all over TV berating Trump for irresponsibly, you can\u2019t let it fail, you\u2019ve gotta fix it, or some variation of that.<\/p>\n<p>And folks, this what I meant when I said earlier there\u2019s an opportunity here, because this is flushing the Democrats out. They\u2019re being forced to admit indirectly that their idea is a disaster and that it needs to be fixed and that Trump is a mean guy \u2019cause he\u2019s just gonna let it implode. Well, if you ask me, the creators of this mess and the people that implemented this mess, there\u2019s not a single one of them with an R by their name. There\u2019s not a single Republican that participated in creating Obamacare, not a single one of them that voted for it. We have tried to bail this thing out who knows how many times. For whatever reasons the Republicans don\u2019t want to repeal it.<\/p>\n<p>Now Trump says, &#8220;All right, screw this. I\u2019m just gonna let it implode. I\u2019m just gonna let it fail.&#8221; And it\u2019s flushing out all the rats that live behind the cupboard and behind the walls. They\u2019re finding the cracks and crevices, and they\u2019re surfacing here.
