RUSH: Stephen Hawking? Have you heard what this guy said? Stephen Hawking. Stephen Hawking. He is reputed to be the smartest man alive, is he not? Have you heard this guy\u2019s latest, speaking of tweets or whatever he\u2019s put out? Let me find it here. I had it. Oh, here\u2019s another example. Somebody sent me this on July 1st.<\/p>\n

It was somebody who opened the Weather Channel app on their phone and what they were greeted with. The Weather Channel! Now I know it\u2019s media, I know it\u2019s a bunch of leftists, but they claim they\u2019re scientists. They\u2019re meteorologists. They\u2019re above politics. That\u2019s the point: Nobody\u2019s above politics on the left. They are politics, and what they are is political corruption. So for people who loaded the Weather Channel app on July 1st, they were greeted with this. “Study: Two Billion People to Be Forced From Homes.” “Study: Rising Seas to Force Billions from Home?<\/a>” with a question mark after it.<\/p>\n

\"\"It was an editor\u2019s pick, a story that people at the Weather Channel thought their audience needed to see. They just loaded the app to get the weather for the day and they get preached to. There\u2019s a picture of an island — a barrier island that is obviously densely populated — and it\u2019s a scare story designed to make you think that the people living on this island are gonna die or be flooded and the island\u2019s not gonna exist. And these are the kind of things that we\u2019re hit with daily that nobody even notes. It\u2019s just part of the daily routine that you see and that you run into.<\/p>\n

“Stephen Hawking: Trump\u2019s Single-Handedly Turning Earth into Venus<\/a> — Stephen Hawking blasted President Trump\u2019s recent decision to pull the United States out of the Paris climate change agreement in a new interview, saying it ‘could push earth over the brink.\u2019 Hawking told BBC News that Trump withdrawing the U.S. from the agreement would,” not could, would “lead to disastrous consequences worldwide. ‘We are close to the tipping point where global warming becomes irreversible,\u2019 Hawking told BBC News. ‘Trump\u2019s action could push the earth over the brink, to become like Venus, with a temperature of 250 degrees, and raining sulphuric [sic] acid.'”<\/p>\n

Folks, that is meteorological porn! We\u2019re on the way to 250 degrees and sulfuric acid for rain because of Donald Trump? Now, Stephen Hawking has the respect of practically everybody \u2019cause he\u2019s the smartest physicist, therefore human being, on the planet. But this is insanity. And this is just the latest. Hawking\u2019s been saying if we don\u2019t colonize an asteroid, if we don\u2019t colonize Mars or the moon or something, we\u2019re all dead and we\u2019ve gotta do it within the next generation or we\u2019re cooked.<\/p>\n

This is insane.<\/p>\n

But I\u2019ll guaran-damn-tee you that every science teacher in America believes it. Junior high, middle school, whatever you call it, grade school, I bet you when they see stuff like this Stephen Hawking is like Bill Nye the Science Guy. He\u2019s an irrefutable source to these people. We\u2019re living in dangerous times. The left has so succeeded in dumbing down people that they have even dumbed down themselves. They\u2019ve dumbed down their professoriate. They\u2019ve dumbed down their commentariat. They have dumbed down practically everybody in their ranks.<\/p>\n

They have filled them with paranoia and fear, and this CNN incident is simply a microcosmic example of how the corruption of the left has occurred, and it\u2019s been going on for a long, long, long time. But I\u2019m just telling you: The people that I\u2019m talking about are not the kind of people you sustain a culture with. They\u2019re not the kind of people you build a great nation on. These are not the people who you will ever call “the backbone of America.” They don\u2019t have what it takes. But don\u2019t tell them that because they think that they are the single, best, last great hope.<\/p>\n

\"\"It is astounding to watch this. By the way, that 250 degrees that Hawking was speaking about? That\u2019s Celsius. That\u2019s 428 degrees Fahrenheit. The earth is gonna be 428 degrees! If 250 degrees doesn\u2019t get you, how about 428? But even if you could escape the heat, even if you could pollute the planet further with air-conditioning, it\u2019s still gonna rain sulfuric acid on you. It\u2019s gonna drop on your head and you\u2019ll turn dead. Stephen Hawking. “By denying the evidence for climate change and pulling out of Paris, Trump will cause avoidable environmental damage.”<\/p>\n

By the way, he says we\u2019re nearing the point where it\u2019s irreversible. I can\u2019t tell you how many times over the course of this program that we have been within a year of irreversibility. We\u2019ve been given 10 years back in the 1980s. We\u2019ve been given 20 years in the mid-1980s. We were given 10 years in 1993 by Algore. At what point does the world realize that every one of these people is wrong? The oceans should be uninhabitable by now. The earth should be dying off and millions, billions of people dying from starvation by now if these people were right.<\/p>\n

The Atlantic Ocean should have risen two or three feet by now. Antarctica and the Arctic Circle should pretty much have melted. Where are these people still credible? Not a single one of their predictions has come true. Not a single one of them! I\u2019m not just talking about the environment. Any of their predictions. Not a single one of them has come true. Why do they still have credibility? Why can somebody stand up and say Trump pulling out of Paris is gonna lead to temperatures of 428 degrees and sulfuric acid rain? Why is that person still respected and given credence?<\/p>\n

Why? Well, I\u2019m asking the questions rhetorically. He\u2019s brilliant, but it furthers the political agenda. It doesn\u2019t matter if it\u2019s right, just like Trump colluding with Russia, it doesn\u2019t matter. They\u2019re just using — they thought Trump would be gone by now. Everything that they have plotted. Folks, you have to understand, the ultimate expression, the ultimate realization of left-wing victory is Republicans losing elections, and losing elections to the point that there aren\u2019t any Republicans anymore.<\/p>\n

\"\"And what is happening? It\u2019s the exact opposite. Democrats are losing elections. Everything that these people hold dear, everything they think they believe in have told people is true is just turning on them. They can\u2019t get rid of Trump. They can\u2019t force people to disrespect Trump any more than they already did in the divisions that occurred normally and naturally in the election. They are failing at virtually every project they have in the long term.<\/p>\n

Again, look, I don\u2019t mean to beat a dead horse, but it\u2019s not just in the media that this stuff is happening. They are rotting the greatness of the country at its core. They are trying to.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
