RUSH: This from the AP: “California\u2019s attorney general…” (laughing) I know, everything appears funny to me. I think this is partly because I don\u2019t watch cable news at night. I literally haven\u2019t seen any in three weeks now. By the way, I got emails from people asking if I feel like I am not, thus, fully committed to the job, and I understand.<\/p>\n

\"\"I mean, you might perceive that as me endeavoring to not do things I don\u2019t like but the job requires in order to remain fully informed and competitive. And I\u2019ve thought about that too. That\u2019s why I\u2019ve been running the test. Let me just ask you: I haven\u2019t been watching cable news in three weeks. Do you people feel uninformed, ill-informed, misinformed, or less than satisfied with this program in the past three weeks? Not at all. I don\u2019t even have wait for you to answer. I know what your answer is.<\/p>\n

You are not feeling unhappy, dissatisfied, unsatisfied, ill-informed, misinformed, uninformed over the past three weeks. I\u2019m just in a better mood about things. It\u2019s not 100%. I mean, there\u2019s still life out there and things happen that affected you. But wantonly, openly subjecting myself to things that I know are gonna infuriate me? I have decided not to do it. But doesn\u2019t mean I don\u2019t come across this stuff like this. “California has banned state travel to Texas and three other states over those states\u2019 anti-LGBT laws.<\/p>\n

“California\u2019s attorney general blocked state-funded travel to Texas and three other states yesterday in response to what he considers anti-LGBT rights laws enacted this year.” The Democrat attorney general is… Well, it\u2019s spelled X-A-V-I-E-R. I\u2019m sure after I pronounce this, Hispanic-speaking people will… (Hang on a minute, folks, while I hit a screen saver. Half of my life on this show is hitting screen savers.) His named is X-A-V-I-E-R. I\u2019m gonna pronounce it Xavier. What\u2019s gonna happen is I\u2019m gonna get emails from Hispanic people, “No! It\u2019s Javier. Get it right.”<\/p>\n

So I\u2019ve covered it both ways. Last name Becerra. He “added Texas, Alabama, South Dakota and Kentucky to the list of places where state employee travel is restricted.” What do you think? Do you think Eric Holder might be behind this? He\u2019s thinking about running for president on the Democrat ticket in 2020. I don\u2019t know if it\u2019s a violation interstate commerce. Can a state tell its own employees they can\u2019t go to another state if they\u2019re traveling on state money? Guess so.<\/p>\n
