CALLER: Yes, I tell them they\u2019re called and I tell my son if he wants to talk to them, if he wants to be a Bernie Sanders supporter then get out on his own. Well, they\u2019re not gonna get out on their own because they\u2019re too lazy. The problem is my husband and I\u2019s generation created these monsters \u2019cause back in the day when we played sports —<\/p>\n
RUSH: Now, wait, wait, wait … let\u2019s —<\/p>\n
CALLER: Yes, we created these monsters.<\/p>\n
RUSH: Let\u2019s kind of moderate our tone here. We\u2019re talking about your children —<\/p>\n
CALLER: I\u2019m talking about my children, and —<\/p>\n
RUSH: — and you refer to them here as monsters.<\/p>\n
CALLER: — I have said this to my children\u2019s face, trust me. As you can tell, I\u2019m a little outspoken, so my children have heard this. My husband and I\u2019s generation created these Millennial monsters. When I was younger, you didn\u2019t get a ribbon if you didn\u2019t win, so you tried harder the next year to win, correct?<\/p>\n
RUSH: Yeah, but that doesn\u2019t apply. Winning today, that\u2019s discriminating.<\/p>\n
CALLER: No, that\u2019s the problem because we decided that all of our children should get a ribbon because they participated, they did so good. They went out there and they tried, oh, my God, look how the good Johnny did out there, oh, my God, he\u2019s sweating, he deserves a ribbon. So we created these monsters. So now my 22-year-old thinks he\u2019s a Bernie Sanders supporter because he wants everything handed to him, like Mommy and Daddy did. So when Mommy and Daddy stopped handing it to him, then the government should, because he shouldn\u2019t really have to work for it, Rush. Mommy and Daddy gave it to him, so —<\/p>\n
RUSH: Look. Here\u2019s the thing, though. Parents give kids everything up to a point, there\u2019s no choice. I mean, at some point kids supposedly, ostensibly become responsible, but it is a fact of life that parents have to give their kids everything, up to a certain point. In my case it was 13. That\u2019s when I went out and got my first job. It wasn\u2019t enough to live on by any stretch. It wasn\u2019t enough to move out. I didn\u2019t want to move out or any of that.<\/p>\n

I started working and really earning serious money — well, serious money — when I was 16. But this current generation has been influenced by, not just their parents, they\u2019ve been influenced starting at day care, starting in grade school on up to middle school, and then high school and college. I mean, they are the definition, I think, of mind-numbed robots. They haven\u2019t been taught critical thinking. They\u2019re just sponges. They just absorbed all this stuff. And the greatest thing that\u2019s happened to them is they have been exonerated. They have been exempted from responsibility for anything.<\/p>\n
That\u2019s part and parcel of the Democrat Party message today is that everybody that votes Democrat is a victim of something. You\u2019re a victim of Republicans. You\u2019re a victim of America overall. You are a victim of racism, sexism, bigotry, homophobia.<\/p>\n
Once you accept that you are a victim, I mean, then life becomes easy, in a sense. ‘Cause once you accept victim status, you are admitting you have no control. You are admitting you have no responsibility. You are admitting you have no ability to change things. It\u2019s always somebody else doing something to you. And that\u2019s how the Democrat Party has built itself.<\/p>\n
The Democrat Party, the modern Democrat Party has decided to become the party of all of the aggrieved, of all of the disenchanted and the unhappy, of the offended, of victims. And the Democrats try to create more and more of them, because the more victims, the more powerful the Democrat Party is.<\/p>\n
It used to be class warfare. It used to be the Democrats wanted to keep people poor. That was the purpose of minimum wage. The minimum wage law is designed to keep people poor. The minimum wage law and a number of other Democrat policies, welfare, any number of Democrat programs are designed to keep people from becoming upwardly mobile financially which requires them to then become dependent on somebody else or a combination of somebody else, their parents, government, or what have you.<\/p>\n
But at the same time they become dependent, they are angry. Democrats make sure that everybody\u2019s angry and filled with rage over the unfairness of life, over the indecency, over the lack of equality. And how many of you, by the way, are now noticing more and more the use of the word “sustainability”? The media talks about it.<\/p>\n
Here in the New York Times, there is a story about the Democrats\u2019 fortunes down the road and just how sustainable is their current momentum. They don\u2019t have any momentum. They don\u2019t have any positive momentum. They are on a loser\u2019s path. They are on a loser roll.<\/p>\n
And yet they\u2019re concerned with sustainability, sustainability when it comes to energy, sustainability when it comes to climate. Oh, speaking of sustainability when it comes to energy — I\u2019ve got the Dittocam turned off \u2019cause I\u2019m gonna show you something here and I have to zero in on it real tight which it would look very bad now if you — just hang on. I\u2019ll get to it.<\/p>\n
Millennials say that student loan debt is as big a problem as global warming. Now, Millennials, 60, 65% of Millennials think global warming is real, that man is causing it, that primarily Republicans are behind it, they want to damage the earth, they want to destroy it.<\/p>\n It makes no sense, but this is what they\u2019ve been led precisely because they do not critically think, they have no ability to do so. They\u2019ve just absorbed all of this poisonous propaganda, and they believe it, and they live their lives scared to death that there isn\u2019t gonna be a sustainable planet by the time they reach 60 or 65 or maybe even sooner.<\/p>\n![\"\"](\"https:\/\/www.rushlimbaugh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/Studentloans-Maha-Rushie-Student-Loans-B2.jpg\")
But it\u2019s a story about Tesla cars and — here you go. This is an example of how Millennials have been sold a bill of goods. There\u2019s actually two stories. There\u2019s a poll out, and Millennials say that student loan debt is as bad as global warming and is worse than North Korea. This was a survey provided to the Washington Examiner<\/a> by LendEDU. It\u2019s a loan outfit, and they survey Millennials over what\u2019s bothering them.<\/p>\n
