This news &#8220;broke&#8221; at 3:08 to 3:30 this morning. That\u2019s when the news first hit. It\u2019s ten hours later. It\u2019s still breaking news out there, and that\u2019s how the Drive-Bys work: it\u2019s one issue, one issue at a time. They\u2019ll go with this for a while, and then they\u2019ll move on. I\u2019m going to move on quite soon here. We\u2019ll take your phone calls on this. That doesn\u2019t mean you have to hang up, because if you still want to weigh in on this, feel free to do so. We have some more examples of what\u2019s being posted at kook-fringe Democrat blogs like <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.dailykos.com\/\">Daily Kos<\/a>, Daily<emphasize> Chaos. <\/emphasize><\/line><BR\/>Here\u2019s just a sample. <emphasize>Bush\u2019s idea of justice is bombs falling out of the sky? Why is he dead again just now? I wonder if Karl\u2019s getting indicted tomorrow&#8230;Those pics of Abu Z look like they just thawed him out just in time for the elections. Zarqawi was quite probably a psyops job in the first place, so what does that make his &#8220;death&#8221;? Keep your eyes on the prize&#8230;.Haditha. Just in time to hide the fact they\u2019re trying to cut the estate tax for the uber wealthy. Yes the timing of Zarqawi\u2019s death does seem too good for Bush to be true. It reeks of distraction politics. <\/emphasize><\/line><BR\/>I kid you not! (laughing) Have you wondered why there hasn\u2019t been any slaps on the back, there haven\u2019t been in the slaps on the back from liberal Democrats for the military? You\u2019ve had a glancing blow, if you will, &#8220;great job, tremendous, successful mission,&#8221; but you haven\u2019t had any Democrat do what the president did today, which was&#8230; In fact I\u2019m going to have you grab the audio sound bite of that, Mike. Audio sound bite #6. You haven\u2019t heard a Democrat come close to saying this. I\u2019ll tell you why in just a second.<\/line><\/p>\n<p><BR\/>THE PRESIDENT: The operation against Zarqawi was conducted with courage and professionalism by the finest military in the world.<\/line><BR\/>RUSH: Yep.<\/line><BR\/>THE PRESIDENT: Coalition and Iraqi forces &#8212; <\/line><BR\/>RUSH: Yep.<\/line><BR\/>THE PRESIDENT: &#8212; persevered through years of near-misses and false leads.<\/line><BR\/>RUSH: Right on. Right on.<\/line><BR\/>THE PRESIDENT: And they never gave up.<\/line><BR\/>RUSH: Right on.<\/line><BR\/>THE PRESIDENT: On behalf of all Americans &#8212; <\/line><BR\/>RUSH: Right on.<\/line><BR\/>THE PRESIDENT: &#8212; I congratulate our troops &#8212;<\/line><BR\/>RUSH: Right on!<\/line><BR\/>THE PRESIDENT: &#8212; on this remarkable achievement.<\/line><BR\/>RUSH: Right on!<\/line><BR\/>THE PRESIDENT: Zarqawi is dead.<\/line><BR\/>RUSH: Yes!<\/line><BR\/>THE PRESIDENT: But the difficult and necessary mission in Iraq continues.<\/line><BR\/>RUSH: Right on.<\/line><BR\/>THE PRESIDENT: We can expect the terrorists and insurgents to carry on without him.<\/line><BR\/>RUSH: Mmm-hmm.<\/line><BR\/>THE PRESIDENT: Zarqawi\u2019s death is a severe blow to al-Qaeda.<\/line><BR\/>RUSH: Amen, bro.<\/line><BR\/>THE PRESIDENT: It\u2019s a victory in the global war on terror.<\/line><BR\/>RUSH: Amen.<\/line><BR\/>THE PRESIDENT: And it\u2019s an opportunity for Iraq\u2019s new government to turn the tide of this struggle.<\/line><BR\/>RUSH: Right on, right on. Now, at the very beginning of that: &#8220;courage, professionalism, by the finest military in the world.&#8221; Why will you not hear a lib Democrat say that today or tomorrow, or next year? Because these kooks that we are finding on these blogs would go <emphasize>ballistic. <\/emphasize>They would go ballistic. The elected Democrats in Washington are almost captive to the kook fringe that now claim to be their base.
