It\u2019s really funny how this whole story today that we\u2019ve been talking about all day, how the Washington Post believes this story, that their anonymous sources… And the Washington Post hired John Podesta. Podesta was the head of Hillary\u2019s campaign. And today is the day, the day that the evidence that Seth Rich, the guy from the DNC, the one who had access… There never was a Russian hack. When Seth Rich, it\u2019s proved that he leaked the information to WikiLeaks. All this stuff comes out to kind of keep media hushed and not talk about an actual murder.<\/p>\n

RUSH: All right, now, first, it has not been proven that his emails were leaked to WikiLeaks. It\u2019s not been proven that that means the Russians weren\u2019t involved. Now, here is the overview of this story. A Democrat National Committee staffer was murdered on July 10th last year not very far from his home. A DNC staffer. It is said that he had leaked something like 44,000 emails to WikiLeaks. Law enforcement sources are saying this. “A federal investigator who reviewed an FBI forensic report detailing the contents of DNC staffer Seth Rich\u2019s computer generated within 96 hours after his murder, said Rich made contact with WikiLeaks through Gavin MacFadyen,” who is now room temperature.<\/p>\n

He passed away from cancer. But he was an American investigative reporter; Seth Rich ostensibly used him as the go-between to get these 44,000 emails to WikiLeaks. The subject of the emails… Apparently, the story is that Seth Rich was outraged that DNC was rigging the primary for Hillary Clinton. Now, the local Washington police said (paraphrased), “No, no! There\u2019s nothing to any of that. This is just a robbery gone bad.” The problem with that is that his wallet was not stolen nor his phone. So people say, “W-w-wait,” and the investigation so-called after that. No perp has been found.<\/p>\n

\"\"“Robbery gone bad.” Seth Rich died, so the family of Seth Rich went out there and hired their own investigator, a guy by the name of Rod Wheeler. He\u2019s a former detective in the Washington police department. He said, “My investigation up to this point shows there was some degree of email exchange between Seth Rich and WikiLeaks.” … This is not Wheeler: “‘I have seen and read the emails between Seth Rich and WikiLeaks,\u2019 [a] federal investigator told Fox News, confirming the MacFadyen connection. He said the emails are in possession of the FBI, while the stalled case is in the hands of the Washington Police Department.”<\/p>\n

\"\"So if you accept all of this at face value, what you would conclude here is that the FBI (and, thus, Comey) knew about this connection of this Democrat National Committee staffer been murdered and his forwarding of 44,000 emails to WikiLeaks and despite knowing all of that, still pushed the Russian story. Rod Wheeler, who is the family investigator, said… (muttering) Let\u2019s go to the sound bites. We\u2019ve got this guy on sound bites. This story is written weirdly.<\/p>\n

I don\u2019t know who\u2019s speaking. There are quotes here but no name attributed to it. So here\u2019s the first bite. This is last night on local Fox 5 in Washington. The correspondent is Marina Marraco, and she\u2019s speaking with Rod Wheeler, the investigator that Seth Rich\u2019s family hired to look into this since they think the Washington police are stalling the investigation. Here\u2019s the first bite exchange between the two…<\/p>\n

WHEELER: The police department nor the FBI has been forthcoming. They haven\u2019t been cooperating at all. I believe that the answer to solving his death lies on that computer, which I believe is either at the police department or either at — at the FBI. I\u2019ve been told both.<\/p>\n

MARRACO: But you have sources at the FBI saying that there is information —<\/p>\n

WHEELER: For sure.<\/p>\n

MARRACO: — that could link Seth Rich to WikiLeaks?<\/p>\n

WHEELER: Absolutely. Yeah. And that\u2019s confirmed.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Wheeler is saying that there\u2019s a police source that\u2019s looked him dead in the eye and the FBI looked him dead in the eye and told him. But nobody\u2019s seen it, folks. Nobody has seen the laptop and nobody\u2019s seen the 44,000 emails. It\u2019s just this guy saying so. Now, there\u2019s more, but I\u2019ve got one more sound bite to go. Wheeler continues his answer.<\/p>\n

WHEELER: I have a source inside the police department that has looked at me straight in the eye and said, “Rod, we were told to stand down in this case, and I can\u2019t share any information with you.” Now, that\u2019s highly unusual for a murder investigation, especially from a police department. Again, I don\u2019t think it comes from the chief\u2019s office, but I do believe there is a correlation between the mayor\u2019s office and the DNC.<\/p>\n

RUSH: All right. So the staffer, Seth Rich, is murdered back on July the 10th, and there was reputedly a computer with 44,000 emails that were transferred via intermediary to WikiLeaks. Nobody\u2019s seen the computer. Nobody\u2019s seen the emails. A family investigator says he\u2019s been told all this, that it exists. So everybody that believes that, you\u2019d have to believe that Comey and the FBI knew it and ignored it for something else. What did they look at as something else?<\/p>\n

\"\"Well, let\u2019s not forget the official storyline on what happened. The official storyline is that the Russians hacked the DNC and found a way for all the data that they found to get to WikiLeaks. Seth Rich, nothing to do with this; you don\u2019t have any evidence, they\u2019re saying, the Russians did it. How do we know? We don\u2019t know from the FBI because the DNC did not allow the FBI to examine their computer network. Instead, the DNC hired an outfit called CrowdStrike, which is an outfit based in Ukraine, and the guy that runs CrowdStrike hates Vladimir Putin.<\/p>\n

It is CrowdStrike which says that they analyzed a DNC computer, and they found fingerprints from two different Russian government intelligence organizations. And from that the FBI has accepted what CrowdStrike found and told them about. CrowdStrike also said that the Russians tried to get in and hack the RNC network but failed. So the FBI has not even been considering the Seth Rich story. They have defaulted to believing the Russian angle and CrowdStrike\u2019s analysis.<\/p>\n

They are a private sector forensic computer outfit and network outfit. And the FBI just accepted what they said and then were off and running now with the Russians leaked the data from the DNC to WikiLeaks. This does not involve Podesta. Podesta\u2019s computer data, all those emails is not part of this. Podesta fell victim to his own phishing attack. Well, not his, but a phishing attack on his own computer.<\/p>\n

WikiLeaks, I don\u2019t know how they got it, but it\u2019s not part of the hack, and it\u2019s not related to Seth Rich. Nobody is claiming that Seth Rich also had Podesta\u2019s emails. So there\u2019s two different things here. Well, all these highfalutin sources are saying, “Well, you don\u2019t have any evidence. Nobody\u2019s seen Seth Rich\u2019s laptop. Nobody\u2019s seen those 44,000 of emails. Nobody knows about this intermediary sent to WikiLeaks.”<\/p>\n

Well, by the same token, nobody has seen the evidence of the Russian hack of the DNC, either! We\u2019re just accepting that because the FBI, which is second only to H. R. McMaster in integrity, is telling us this. We haven\u2019t seen any evidence of anything about all this, do you realize that? Russian collusion, we haven\u2019t seen any evidence. Everybody\u2019s out saying “no question it happened, and we got a serious problem.” I haven\u2019t seen any evidence of it. No solid evidence of it. But everybody, Republicans and Democrats alike are all, “Oh, yeah, the Russians, oh, God, they\u2019re everywhere, man, trying to disrupt everything.”<\/p>\n

\"\"Now, Seth Rich is a fascinating, fascinating angle, because if this actually turns out to be an internal leak from a disgruntled employee who happens to be mad at the way the DNC was rigging the game against Crazy Bernie, because that\u2019s what we learned from that leak. We learned the DNC had rigged the primary against Crazy Bernie. That\u2019s not from Podesta. That\u2019s from the DNC computer.<\/p>\n

So now there\u2019s two competing theories as to how WikiLeaks got it, either from Seth Rich, who was murdered. And, by the way, he was murdered two weeks before all of this info shows up on WikiLeaks. So it\u2019s a good, old-fashioned mystery. The FBI has chosen to accept whatever CrowdStrike told them and to leave this Seth Rich story as bohunk and that the only thing worth paying attention to here is the Russian connection.<\/p>\n

BREAK TRANSCRIPT<\/p>\n

RUSH: By the way, folks, on this contention that nobody\u2019s seen the evidence on Seth Rich\u2019s computer, this 44,000 emails. WTTG, the Fox 5 Eyeball News affiliate in Washington says that the family investigator — this is Rod Wheeler, says that there is tangible evidence on Rich\u2019s laptop that confirms he was communicating with WikiLeaks prior to his death. Just as there is evidence that he was sending these emails, he was communicating in addition to that.<\/p>\n

Now, if this is true, then this does great, great damage to the Russian theory, because there\u2019s still no tangible evidence the Russians were involved in hacking the DNC — do you realize this? By the way, one minor correction. CrowdStrike is a U.S.-based outfit. They\u2019re founded by a Ukrainian who does hate Putin.<\/p>\n

The FBI did not conduct its own examination of the DNC computer system or its network. They let CrowdStrike do it. The DNC didn\u2019t want the FBI to do it, so they hired CrowdStrike, and whatever CrowdStrike said, the FBI accepted. And the CrowdStrike are the only people who are saying, yeah, we found some Russian fingerprints in there.<\/p>\n

Do you realize there is no tangible evidence that the Russians were involved in hacking the DNC? It\u2019s just become something everybody accepts because so many people have been conditioned, “Oh, yeah, the Russians are hacking everybody, Russians colluding with Trump.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
