RUSH: We\u2019re gonna go to Worcester, Massachusetts. Debbie, welcome to the EIB Network. Great to have you here.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Thank you, Rush, and it\u2019s as such honor. You are on my bucket list, so I can cross that off now.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Thank you very much.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Hey, listen, when Obama became president was at the same time I was losing my husband to pancreatic cancer. So I just accepted it and went on. But life was very sad for me. And then four years when he made it again, I\u2019m like, “Oh, my God, I\u2019m even gonna lose my country.” But I accepted him, and I didn\u2019t go out and destroy property. I didn\u2019t go out and complain. I just said, “Okay. What\u2019s happening is happening and I\u2019m just gonna work hard the next time around,” and so I did that. I put such effort into the Trump campaign.<\/p>\n

I managed hundreds of Facebook pages for him, and I knew that Hillary was gonna lose. And when I saw a debate where she planted the seed into the American minds that Russia — that Putin and Trump — had this connection, and then you could see Obama saying this? What they did is they created this story to taint his reign as president. And, of course, they succeeded, because how many months later it\u2019s still top of the news. But what can we do as Americans, as people who don\u2019t want all this corruption? What can we do to stop this? I mean, it\u2019s ridiculous.<\/p>\n

RUSH: (long sigh) Well —<\/p>\n

CALLER: Is there help?<\/p>\n

RUSH: The first thing you have to do is stop believing the news.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yeah. But it\u2019s out there everywhere.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I know it is.<\/p>\n

CALLER: There are people that do believe it.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I know what you\u2019re talking about. When Obama was president, I didn\u2019t know anybody on our side who had this idea of mounting the official resistance that featured rocks and riots and bombs and fires and protests and bought-and-paid-for rioters. What we did was attempt to reach as many Americans as we could and argued to them that they have made a mistake in voting Obama. That\u2019s the way we do it. You accept the authority of the Constitution. This is my point. These people on the left do not accept any authority but theirs<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>The Constitution is not an authority.<\/p>\n

The election results are not an authority.<\/p>\n

They only respect the authority of themselves — and in their world, Trump is illegitimate because he won. Nothing more than that! They hate him for more reasons than that, but he\u2019s illegitimate because he won, not just because they expected Hillary. I mean, literally because Trump won! They refuse to accept it. He was not supposed to win. Nobody on our side\u2019s ever supposed to win ever again. So they mount this “resistance.” It has a specific purpose, two things: to intimidate the winners into halting the advance of their agenda, the implementation of their agenda — and forcing them out of office.<\/p>\n

I\u2019ve always thought that an informed, educated public is the simple best weapon against all of this. And I still do. I mean, what are you gonna do, mount counter-resistance operations? We could think about that. But if the Republican Party\u2019s not willing to go along with it… (chuckles) We\u2019ve got a lot of disparate factors here. And, remember, the overriding thing about this is that it is the establishment — all of the establishment — that got beat. So the opposition to Trump is bipartisan. This is not Democrat versus Republican, and in many ways is not left versus right.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s ruling class versus country class, with us being the peons and the barbarians, and the ruling class being all those people who live in Washington and work in the deep state. And they, of course, are gonna buy and pay for all of this resistance and support it, and they\u2019re not gonna charge them criminally when they engage in criminal acts. But it was always gonna be this way. I never thought this was going to be a cakewalk. I always thought the establishment was gonna react the way they have. Anyway, I appreciate the call. Debbie, I wish I had more of an answer for you on this.<\/p>\n

I\u2019ll admit, it\u2019s a frustrating thing. The Democrats are losing elections. They lost another one, folks. They\u2019ve lost three elections in the last two weeks. They lost the mayoralty in Omaha, and they\u2019ve lost a couple others. Now, you say, “Big deal. That doesn\u2019t matter. Mayor? Are you kidding me? You\u2019re gonna put that in the loss column?” Yeah! Yeah, I am, \u2019cause they can\u2019t win elections. The people are doing everything they can to stop Democrats! The problem is, the media is running the opposition, not the Democrats. You want to stop this? Stop the media. How do you stop the media? Turn \u2019em off, don\u2019t believe \u2019em, don\u2019t let \u2019em affect what you think and do. Beyond that, get creative.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
