RUSH: Investor\u2019s Business Daily with a poll — and, by the way, I need to repeatedly remind you that the IBD poll remains one of the most accurate polls in recent years in predicting the outcome of various elections, including presidential. What they have determined in this latest poll is: “Public Turned Off by Media\u2019s Relentlessly Negative Coverage of Trump<\/a>\u00a0— 55% of the public says they\u2019ve grown ‘weary from the media\u2019s persistently negative coverage of President Trump.\u2019<\/p>\n

\"\"“A roughly equal share (54%) also believe that the news media ‘has assumed the role of the opposition party, constantly opposing the president and his policies at every turn.'” Fifty-five percent! Now, you would think the members of the Drive-By Media would look at that, and they wouldn\u2019t be happy, that would not please them. And they don\u2019t care.<\/p>\n

They\u2019re perfectly fine with it because that is their role. That is their job, and they found a way to monetize it. That\u2019s why it\u2019s never gonna end. This partisanship in the media may be what rescues them from financial problems. It\u2019s how they convince — it\u2019s how they coerce — the genuinely insane, lunatic base to keep clicking on their websites.
