I\u2019ll give you an example of that. Claire McCaskill is calling for Sessions\u2019 head. (imitating McCaskill) &#8220;Jeff Sessions, he said he never talked to the Russians. And yet, and yet we now know that he did. Jeff Sessions, he lied during his confirmation hearings to Senator Franken.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-223903\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rushlimbaugh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/650-030217-McCaskill.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"650\" height=\"312\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.rushlimbaugh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/650-030217-McCaskill.jpg 650w, https:\/\/www.rushlimbaugh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/650-030217-McCaskill-300x144.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 650px) 100vw, 650px\" \/>Okay. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nationalreview.com\/corner\/445407\/claire-mccaskill-did-meet-russian-ambassador-twice\">Claire McCaskill has tweeted out a bunch of things<\/a>, she\u2019s never talked to the Russians. Except Claire McCaskill apparently doesn\u2019t know that what you write on Twitter is saved. And people have gone back and found two, maybe three different tweets by now where Claire McCaskill brags about being at social events and talking to the Russian ambassador! Yet here\u2019s Claire McCaskill today saying, &#8220;Jeff Sessions needs to be fired, resigned, recused, whatever, \u2019cause he lied. He said he never talked to the Russians, and now we know he did!&#8221; Same thing could be said of Claire McCaskill.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s the way we always fight this stuff. And what does it ever get us? Zip, zero, nada. You know why? &#8216;Cause it accepts the premise that Sessions did something wrong and so therefore our defense is define where the Democrats have done it, too. The problem is, hypocrisy never, ever sticks to Democrats. It\u2019s not something they\u2019re ever held accountable to. The media is gonna give \u2019em a pass on it all the time. &#8220;Well, Claire McCaskill is not the story. She\u2019s not the attorney general. Claire McCaskill didn\u2019t work with the Trump campaign screwing Hillary. None of that happened. So she doesn\u2019t matter.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nationalreview.com\/corner\/445407\/claire-mccaskill-did-meet-russian-ambassador-twice\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-223939\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rushlimbaugh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/McCaskillTweet-6.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"422\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.rushlimbaugh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/McCaskillTweet-6.jpg 400w, https:\/\/www.rushlimbaugh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/McCaskillTweet-6-284x300.jpg 284w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/a>And that\u2019s the way they\u2019re gonna react to any evidence that we provide that shows Democrats have done it, too. Do you know how many Democrats met with Russians during the Iran negotiations? Thirty different Democrat senators met with Russians during Obama\u2019s and John Kerry\u2019s negotiations for a nuclear deal with the Iranians. Is that proper or improper? &#8220;What are the Democrats doing talking to the Russians about a nuclear deal with Iran?&#8221; we\u2019re out there saying.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s not gonna give Jeff Sessions a pass. I mean, it\u2019s fun to point it out, and it\u2019s great to have it on the record, but in terms of a strategy to push this back, it isn\u2019t gonna work. It never has, and it never will.<\/p>\n<p>The focus, as far as the public is concerned, somebody needs to point out, beside the guy on the radio, that the real story here is the Democrat Party led by Barack Obama and Hillary and name the other names are trying to undermine and sabotage the Trump election victory and presidency and then explain why.<\/p>\n<p>BREAK TRANSCRIPT<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:\u00a0 Claire McCaskill said in her tweet that everybody\u2019s focusing on here: &#8220;I\u2019ve been on the Armed Services Committee for 10 years.\u00a0 No call or meeting with Russian ambassador.\u00a0 Ambassadors call members of the Foreign Relations Committee.&#8221;\u00a0 Sessions was on that committee.\u00a0 So she\u2019s saying, &#8220;I\u2019ve been on that committee, too, and I never talked to Russian ambassadors.&#8221;\u00a0 Except she did.\u00a0 And she admitted so in two other tweets sent earlier that she\u2019s forgotten about.\u00a0 And there\u2019s even a photo now of her in the meeting with the Russian ambassador.<\/p>\n<p>Okay, so big whoop.\u00a0 What\u2019s it gonna get us?\u00a0 Embarrass Claire McCaskill?\u00a0 We\u2019ve already shown that can\u2019t happen.\u00a0 It\u2019s not gonna matter a hill of beans.\u00a0 This story is not about Claire McCaskill.\u00a0 It\u2019s not about the Democrats.\u00a0 Let me ask you this, folks.\u00a0 What\u2019s the allegation?\u00a0 Sessions met with the Russian ambassador, and they colluded.\u00a0 What did they collude about?<\/p>\n<p>Did Sessions say to the Russian ambassador, &#8220;Hey, look.\u00a0 We want you guys to find a way to hack Hillary\u2019s emails and Podesta, and then we went you guys to give them to Julian Assange at WikiLeaks.\u00a0 We got a deal with Assange.\u00a0 He\u2019s gonna publish whatever you find.&#8221;\u00a0 Is that what they want to claim happened here?\u00a0 What\u2019s the collusion?\u00a0 Why can\u2019t you talk to the Russian ambassador anyway?\u00a0 Where is the crime in that?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>RUSH: There&#039;s even a photo now of her in the meeting with the Russian ambassador.
