RUSH: Chris Cillizza in the Washington Post was listening yesterday. Here\u2019s the headline of his piece that I think just cleared. I don\u2019t know if this made the newspaper or if it\u2019s on their website. “Rush Limbaugh is Exactly Right About How Donald Trump Can Fix His Problems<\/a>.” Do you remember what I said yesterday about this? (interruption) That\u2019s exactly right. Well, I didn\u2019t know if you heard it \u2019cause you\u2019re in there screening calls in the first hour and you\u2019re not able to listen. They quote me and they quote me accurately<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“Rush Limbaugh, the conservative talk radio host, has a solution — and a very good one — to Trump\u2019s current malaise. Here\u2019s an excerpt of Limbaugh\u2019s advice from his show on Wednesday: ‘I\u2019m gonna tell you what I think is the best thing Donald Trump could do. Just focus on repealing Obamacare, and then focus on tax reform, and then just move full speed ahead on the domestic agenda. Make tracks. Do it obviously.<\/p>\n

“Bring in people, have meetings, bring the Republicans up, the Democrats up, as the president in a room telling them: This is why we were all elected, it\u2019s why you lost, this is what we\u2019re gonna do. Work together to move these tax cuts forward, reform the tax code, repeal Obamacare. None of this, ‘Oh, man, I don\u2019t know, two years.\u2019 Just do it! If Trump would engage at full speed on his domestic agenda, which is why he was elected, then his people will stay with him no matter what this Obama shadow government tries.”<\/p>\n

Cillizza writes, “That is very, very smart.” That had to pain them. I mean, this whole story had to pain them, because they had to admit, if Trump did that, he could once again leave them in the dust.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>I know Ryan had a press conference today on Obamacare, and he said that when they get back from the Presidents\u2019 Day break — Congress — Presidents\u2019 Day is Monday. What, does Congress get a month off for that? When do they come back? Usually within a few days. Ryan said whenever they get back from the Presidents\u2019 Day break they\u2019re gonna go full speed on Obamacare. (interruption) I don\u2019t know. I just threw that out there, taking Presidents\u2019 Day off.<\/p>\n

You know, I\u2019m not going to have a weekend off \u2019cause I gotta get up early to be on Fox News Sunday, so that means I have to be here way, way earlier than I would normally be anywhere on Sunday. On Sunday I don\u2019t play golf \u2019til noon. Saturday I play early, but Sunday I just sleep \u2019til I wake up, whenever that is. Usually not much later, body clock being what it is.<\/p>\n

So I don\u2019t know. But if I do, you\u2019ll need a guest host, right, or a best-of. Can you imagine the best-ofs we have to choose from? Ho-ho-ho-ho. Might not even need a guest host. But I\u2019ll let you know. I\u2019ll let you know. What\u2019s the latest you would need to know in order to go out and secure a guest host? Are there any guest hosts left? Because every one of them ends up getting their own national show. (interruption) Who?
