Lucinda in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, hi.<\/line><BR\/> <\/line><BR\/> CALLER: Hi, Rush, I\u2019m so thrilled to be talking to you today. I just wanted to tell you about the rally in Johnstown, Pennsylvania yesterday for President Bush. Cambria County, Pennsylvania, largely Democrat county, and I stood around and made some observations there and the Democrats just aren\u2019t getting it this election. They aren\u2019t getting it. I saw firefighters and first responders to the flight that went down in Shanksville, and they stood there proud of themselves, what they did that day. I saw firefighters and coal miners that were there, nine for nine, when we had the coal disaster here in Johnstown just a year and a half, almost two years ago.<\/line><BR\/> <\/line><BR\/>RUSH: Right.<\/line><BR\/> <\/line><BR\/><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/genuine_vs__forged.Par.0002.ImageFile.jpg\" width=\"254\" height=\"180\" class=\"alignleft\"\/>CALLER: They\u2019re proud. It\u2019s a proud time. We are proud of our country, the direction we\u2019re going. We don\u2019t want you to find us jobs right now. That\u2019s not what this is about. This is just a time where I just saw people very, very proud of their president, proud of what they do to contribute, and they don\u2019t have out a cup right now asking for help. That\u2019s not what they\u2019re thinking about. They\u2019re thinking family and home and what I can do to make a difference.<\/line><BR\/> <\/line><BR\/>RUSH: How big was your group? It was a big crowd?<\/line><BR\/> <\/line><BR\/>CALLER: Oh, my gosh. The auditorium seated, holds 5,000.<\/line><BR\/> <\/line><BR\/>RUSH: Yeah.<\/line><BR\/> <\/line><BR\/>CALLER: There were 5,000 in the seats and then the floor was just packed.<\/line><BR\/> <\/line><BR\/>RUSH: Yeah.<\/line><BR\/> <\/line><BR\/>CALLER: And again on the news last night, of course, it was the Philadelphia rally where five protesters were removed, the Johnstown rally again with a Democratic county and here we are, no protesters. I think Bush was completely overwhelmed, in fact, by his reception at that war memorial yesterday.<\/line><BR\/> <\/line><BR\/>RUSH: I don\u2019t know that he was overwhelmed by it. No, no, no. Maybe it\u2019s a distinction without a difference here. I don\u2019t think he was overwhelmed. I think he sincerely gets it, appreciates it, and doesn\u2019t take it for granted.<\/line><\/p>\n<p><BR\/>CALLER: He doesn\u2019t. He just is so genuine in person. He\u2019s so genuine. And that so resonates. He doesn\u2019t look down at that speech. He\u2019s just talking to you, and he\u2019s talking about family and pride in our military, and he\u2019s not saying the war in Iraq is any different than the war on terror, and people believe that and they know that to be true, and it\u2019s just a prideful time right now, and he\u2019s speaking to that. <\/line><BR\/> <\/line><BR\/>RUSH: While this is going on, the Democrats are spreading forged documents around.<\/line><BR\/> <\/line><BR\/>CALLER: Exactly.<\/line><BR\/> <\/line><BR\/>RUSH: The contrast couldn\u2019t be greater, really. The contrast couldn\u2019t be greater. You\u2019ve got genuine, genuine as you\u2019re describing Bush, people that know him agree, people that see him agree, genuine &#8212; over here on the Democrat side, forgery, lack of authenticity top to bottom.<\/line><BR\/> <\/line><BR\/>CALLER: I\u2019m thinking of the genuineness of the people. And again, I looked around, Rush, and my heart was just so full of pride. I mean the men that were helping to pull the coal miners out, and the first responders in Shanksville, Pennsylvania, a teeny little place where firemen, volunteer firemen that went there and secured that scene and guarded that scene.<\/line><BR\/> <\/line><BR\/>RUSH: We\u2019ll never forget that scene.<\/line><BR\/> <\/line><BR\/><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/genuine_vs__forged.Par.0007.ImageFile.jpg\" width=\"255\" height=\"178\" class=\"alignright\"\/> CALLER: You know, he\u2019s speaking to them and these are proud people, not looking for a handout right now, but instead say, &#8220;What can we do to help? How can we support our troops?&#8221; You know, it\u2019s just &#8212; it\u2019s an amazing &#8212; it\u2019s an amazing time right now. I find it to be &#8212;<\/line><BR\/> <\/line><BR\/>RUSH: Yes, but a question. If I were John Kerry, and you were talking to me. Let\u2019s say I\u2019m John Kerry guest hosting the program today, and you\u2019ve called and you\u2019ve said about this, you know what my response to you would be?<\/line><BR\/> <\/line><BR\/>CALLER: What?<\/line><BR\/> <\/line><BR\/>RUSH: After hearing you say that they weren\u2019t asking for handouts, everybody was happy and so forth, I would try to get you talking your lack of health care, everybody else\u2019s lack of health care; I would try to get you focusing on negatives and your life and so forth. And you know [Kerry impression] &#8220;Well, what aboooout your health caaare situation? I know two tooooo many people out there don\u2019t have health care, whaaat about that?&#8221; What would your answer be?<\/line><BR\/> <\/line><BR\/>CALLER: Right now my situation is I don\u2019t have that as a problem in my life and, you know, I\u2019m not going to go there &#8212;<\/line><BR\/> <\/line><BR\/>RUSH: [Kerry impression] &#8220;Well, why do you like Bush? Bush hasn\u2019t gotten you health care, and I will, vote for me.&#8221;<\/line><BR\/> <\/line><BR\/>CALLER: &#8212; job to get me health care. I don\u2019t want big government. This is just me speaking personally. I don\u2019t feel that\u2019s &#8212; what I pay my government for &#8212;<\/line><BR\/> <\/line><BR\/>RUSH: You made my point. I appreciate the call out there, Lucinda. I\u2019ve got to run because of time. But see, ladies and gentlemen, this is not a staged call. We don\u2019t do that here. I said the other day. Health care is not this big issue. It never has been the big issue the Democrats think it\u2019s going to be. And it showed up at 18% in some issue-preference poll the other day, like in fourth or fifth place.
