RUSH: I had a story yesterday I didn\u2019t get to that we are going to explore in our upcoming Morning Update that will air tomorrow. It\u2019s from The Daily Caller, and it\u2019s from three days ago. “House Intelligence, Foreign Affairs Committee Members Comprised by Rogue IT Staff.<\/a>” And here\u2019s the thrust of this. “Three brothers who managed office information technology for members of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence…”<\/p>\n

Do you realize this is the committee meets behind closed doors? Nothing ever happens in public. No testimony. Nothing happens in public at the Select Committee on Intelligence. “Three brothers who managed office information technology for members of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence and other lawmakers were abruptly relieved of their duties on suspicion that they accessed congressional computers without permission. Brothers Abid, Imran, and Jamal Awan were barred from computer networks at the House of Representatives Thursday…<\/p>\n

“Three members of the intelligence panel and five members of the House Committee on Foreign Affairs were among the dozens of members who employed the suspects on a shared basis. The two committees deal with many of the nation\u2019s most sensitive issues and documents, including those related to the war on terrorism. Also among those whose computer systems may have been compromised is” Debbie “Blabbermouth” Schultz. Man, this woman, she needs to do something, because whatever computer she\u2019s got, everybody\u2019s getting into it.<\/p>\n

“The brothers are suspected of serious violations, including accessing members\u2019 computer networks without their knowledge and stealing equipment from Congress. Jamal handled IT for Rep. Joaquin Castro, a Texas Democrat who serves on both the intelligence and foreign affairs panels. ‘As of 2\/2, his employment with our office has been terminated,\u2019 Castro spokeswoman [said]. Jamal also worked for Louisiana Democrat Rep. Cedric Richmond, who is on the Committee on Homeland Security.<\/p>\n

“Imran worked for Reps. Andre Carson, an Indiana Democrat, and Jackie Speier, a California Democrat. Both are members of the intelligence committee… The three men are ‘shared employees,\u2019 meaning they are hired by multiple offices, which split their salaries and use them as needed for IT services. … A criminal investigation into five unnamed people began late last year related to serious and potentially illegal violations of House IT policies…”<\/p>\n

\"\"Okay. Questions: What\u2019s obvious here? Do I really need to ask the question? No, I don\u2019t. I don\u2019t need to ask the question. This question just is shouting itself. We\u2019ve got hackers here. They\u2019re hacking Intelligence Committee data and computers, and who knows what they\u2019re doing with it. Anybody…? Remember the raid in Yemen that took place last week <\/a>that resulted in the deathly of a Navy SEAL, a member of SEAL Team Six? Do you remember? We talked about it here on the program.<\/p>\n

Do you what one of the most noteworthy things about that raid was? They knew we were coming. We had literally no surprise. They were all in a house. Women, Islamic women — supposedly kept far and away — were firing weapons at our assault team. They were dressed… Terrorists were dressed as women and children, but they knew we were coming. Now, the original explanation for this was, “Well, they heard our drones. These people in Yemen and hot spots the Middle East, have learned to recognize the sound of drones — and when they hear drones, they know the U.S. is coming or somebody that\u2019s the enemy.”<\/p>\n

Well, how can that be?<\/p>\n

Who is responsible for flying the drones at an altitude they could be heard? “Well, you know, Mr. Limbaugh, there\u2019s a hum associated with these drones. I mean, if you become an expert at detecting \u2019em, you know they\u2019re coming.” Well, it wasn\u2019t just the drones. They knew. They knew we were coming, they knew when, and they knew from where. Now, how does that happen?<\/p>\n

By the way, it\u2019s an Obama operation. This was planned along before Trump took office. It was not executed while Obama was in office \u2019cause the commander, the commando director wanted a new moon so there\u2019s no moonlight. And the nearest new moon to the target date was after Trump had been inaugurated. But it was an Obama-era plan. They\u2019re trying to blame Trump for this, but presidents do not come up with commando raid plans, strategies, operational details. They just give the “go” order. They say yes or no, but the commander comes up with the operational details, the plan, so to speak.<\/p>\n

They tried to blame this on Trump. That didn\u2019t work because it didn\u2019t make any sense. But the fact they knew we were coming. Now, there are people all over this government leaking, I guess, which is constant, but I\u2019m telling you there\u2019s a lot of Democrat Clinton, Obama holdovers in the bureaucracy.
