CALLER:\u00a0 Hi, Rush.\u00a0 Mega dittos from a small farm that feels like it\u2019s a brand-new day.\u00a0 Thank you for taking my call.<\/p>\n

RUSH:\u00a0 Thank you.\u00a0 Great to hear from you.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>CALLER:\u00a0 Listen, I called to tell you thank you.\u00a0 You don\u2019t talk a whole lot about this, but I feel like somebody needs to be your voice, and just thank you so much for what you do.\u00a0 We\u2019re a homeschool family, and you do so much stuff for families like us for homeschool families.\u00a0 We have all of your books. We use them in our classrooms.\u00a0 When I go to homeschool conferences I hear families talk about how they use your books for kids that need inspiration reading, and the kids all of a sudden start reading voraciously.\u00a0 I hear people talking about how they use your books like we do for launching pads for historical deep dives.<\/p>\n

But not only that, I\u2019ve never heard you talking about your website, Rush Revere and your team that Rush Revere has set up<\/a>.\u00a0 We use it in our classroom.\u00a0 And it\u2019s not just for homeschool kids, but it\u2019s for any kids that are interested in history.\u00a0 But it\u2019s amazing, your website is amazing.\u00a0 Not only that, Rush, but I want to thank you personally because our daughter is one of four of the scholarship winners that you picked this fall for your Rush Revere homeschool scholarship. That scholarship means the world to us, so I just want to thank you personally from the bottom of my heart for everything that you do. It\u2019s wonderful.<\/p>\n

RUSH:\u00a0 Thank you very much.\u00a0 I occasionally, when I talk about the book series, and we had a new one out in November, I often suggest that people go to the Revere website<\/a> or the Revere Facebook page<\/a> because we have a great relationship with a lot of the readers. They send pictures of the books arriving from Amazon, send the box-opening videos and the kids that get into the characters and dress up like them.\u00a0 But you\u2019re right, I probably don\u2019t talk about them enough.<\/p>\n

CALLER:\u00a0 They\u2019re spectacular.\u00a0 And the challenges, you guys put challenges on there to get the kids involved, and it\u2019s absolutely amazing.\u00a0 We\u2019re blessed with two kids that love, love, love history, and I hear about families whose kids don\u2019t, and it\u2019s your website and it\u2019s your books and your stuff that actually is able to turn the page in those families\u2019 homes, and we need it so desperately. We need kids that understand the Constitution and love history and want to go in and find the truth.<\/p>\n

And we donate books to some associations and some libraries because, you\u2019re right, if more people had a thirst or a hunger for the genuine history of the founding of this great country, we wouldn\u2019t have as many problems as we have today.<\/p>\n

RUSH:\u00a0 How old are your kids?<\/p>\n

CALLER:\u00a0 I\u2019ve got a 15-year-old.\u00a0 She\u2019s the scholarship winner.\u00a0 And then I\u2019ve got a 12-year-old.\u00a0 Sixth grade and a freshman in high school.<\/p>\n

RUSH:\u00a0 And you have all the books?<\/p>\n

CALLER:\u00a0 We have all the books.\u00a0 In fact, we\u2019re just starting the president book, your latest book<\/a>.\u00a0 My son and I, the sixth grader, we\u2019re just starting that in about three weeks as part of our reading curriculum.<\/p>\n

CALLER:\u00a0 So history permeates every facet of our homeschool program.\u00a0 And you make it easy, you just make it easy.\u00a0 It\u2019s not just the homeschool community, everybody —<\/p>\n
