RUSH: The Democrats now are admitting privately amongst themselves, they are admitting that they lost. Biden is out with a couple of doses of honesty that are going to be really challenging for his buds in the Democrat Party.\u00a0 Joe Biden in one story here says that he doesn\u2019t think Hillary knew why she was running for president.<\/p>\n

“Vice President Biden believes Hillary Clinton lost the presidential election in part because she never figured why she was running for the nation\u2019s highest office. ‘I don\u2019t think she ever really figured it out,\u2019 Biden told the Los Angeles Times<\/a> in an interview published Thursday. ‘And by the way, I think it was really hard for her to decide to run.'”<\/p>\n

If you\u2019re confused by this, just hang in.\u00a0 I\u2019m gonna close the loop here and make it all make sense for you.\u00a0 There\u2019s nobody better at translating these people than I am, so just be patient.<\/p>\n

“As evidence, the vice president pointed to similar concerns raised privately by Clinton allies in hacked emails that were published by Wikileaks.”\u00a0 So Biden says if you go to the WikiLeaks Podesta emails you\u2019ll find it\u2019s clear as a bell in there that Hillary didn\u2019t really know why she was running.\u00a0 But he said it was unfair to only blame her for her loss. “He said Clinton saw a noble purpose in her campaign, feeling an obligation to help pave the way for women in politics just as President Obama did for black people.”<\/p>\n

You know what?\u00a0 May I make a brief departure, an observation here?\u00a0 I hate to say it, but I don\u2019t think Obama has advanced that cause, to tell you the truth.\u00a0 It\u2019s a shame, too.\u00a0 I just don\u2019t think Obama has advanced. And Hillary was not running to be the first female.\u00a0 I mean, that was the trophy aspect.\u00a0 That\u2019s not why she wanted to do this, and she did want to do this.\u00a0 She wanted it so bad she could taste it.\u00a0 She knew exactly why she was running.\u00a0 She just couldn\u2019t tell anybody, \u2019cause it has nothing to do with helping other people. It has nothing to do with making the country better.<\/p>\n

There were two reasons she ran:\u00a0 her ego and her sense of entitlement that it was owed to her.\u00a0 And the second thing is, look at all the money that she had raised from all of these foreign governments and foreign donors.\u00a0 She had an obligation to pay that money back vis-a-vis policy considerations if she was president.\u00a0 She knew exactly why she was running.\u00a0 Now, they\u2019re trying to take the pressure off her here.\u00a0 That\u2019s what Biden\u2019s trying. (imitating Biden) “Well, you know, she really never knew why.\u00a0 It was just expected of her.\u00a0 You know, she was Bill\u2019s wife, and she\u2019d been first lady all those years, she\u2019d been senator, and she was looked to to break the grass ceiling.\u00a0 She had so much pressure.\u00a0 But it was all other people\u2019s reasons for her to do it, not her own,” is what Biden is saying, and that\u2019s just total BS.<\/p>\n

She wanted this so bad she could taste it.\u00a0 She wanted it so bad in 2008 she could taste it.\u00a0 She wanted it so bad in 2008 and it was denied, she wanted it even more in 2016, she could taste it.\u00a0 She wanted it so bad she could smell it.\u00a0 She wanted it so bad she was doing anything she could. She was paying people to disrupt Trump rallies.\u00a0 Her campaign — it\u2019s in The Politico now — her campaign was intimately aware of the effort to screw with the Electoral College.\u00a0 It\u2019s right there in The Politico today.<\/p>\n

<\/a>Politico says they didn\u2019t start it, but once it got going, they kept track of it, and they offered advice here and there.\u00a0 The burden on Hillary, \u2019cause there was a lack of ability to understand why she wasn\u2019t reaping the fruit of what she felt she\u2019d been entitled to for decades.\u00a0 That\u2019s what I think.\u00a0 She felt entitled, she felt owed, she felt it was hers, that she had earned it by virtue of her loyalty to her husband and the party.\u00a0 And she wanted it for the power and she wanted it for her ideological — this idea that she didn\u2019t know why she was running, don\u2019t fall for this, folks.<\/p>\n

They\u2019re trying to offer excuses.\u00a0 What they\u2019re trying to say with that, what Biden\u2019s trying to say, “Well, you know, she didn\u2019t really have the passion.\u00a0 If she really had the passion it would be a whole different campaign.”\u00a0 He\u2019s trying to explain why did she didn\u2019t go to Wisconsin, why she didn\u2019t go to any blue wall states.\u00a0 “Well, you know, she didn\u2019t really ever figure out why.”<\/p>\n

But Biden wasn\u2019t through.\u00a0 After he talked about the that, then he ripped into the Democrat Party\u2019s elitism and started faulting them for failing to reach out the worker class.\u00a0 Anyway, Hillary Clinton is not the leader of the movement right now.\u00a0 That\u2019s the one thing, most presidential candidates, failed ones even, for a time inherit that mantel of leader of the opposition.\u00a0 But it isn\u2019t her.\u00a0 She\u2019s not the leader of any movement.\u00a0 The Obama team is making that clear, and that\u2019s what Biden\u2019s being sent out here to do.<\/p>\n

Biden is on the Obama team and he\u2019s going out there and he\u2019s trashing her.\u00a0 That\u2019s what he\u2019s doing, and he\u2019s clearing the decks so that Obama is known and understood to be by everybody the real leader of the resistance.
