RUSH: Well, when we talk about someone\u2019s “legacy,” let\u2019s first ask ourselves, who will write it or produce it or set it. Who will be responsible for it? In the case of Hillary Clinton\u2019s legacy, she will have a large part in defining it, in cooperation with who? The Drive-By Media. So in that sense, let me ask you: What do you think her legacy is going to be after a combo effort of her and her buddies in the media crafting it?<\/line><\/p>\nCALLER: Yeah, I will wait to see. I know she\u2019s gonna play the victim. You know, it\u2019s a glass ceiling that was never broken. It was the Russians like you\u2019ve been saying that have a part in everything, so it just seems like she\u2019s gonna keep playing the victim card.<\/p>\n
RUSH: No question about it. But I think that strict aspect is going to be deemphasized, because now we\u2019re talking about history and posterity and forever. So now we\u2019re gonna go back, smartest woman in the world, hardest working smartest woman in the world —<\/p>\n
CALLER: All right.<\/p>\n
RUSH: — gave everything for the nation\u2019s children, gave everything for her country, cared so much that she set aside her own life to run for the presidency two different times. And in both instances, she gave it everything she got. The first time she lost to an historic candidate, the first African-American to run, and she easily and readily embraced him and blah, blah, blah, vomit, vomit, vomit. <\/p>\n
CALLER: Right.<\/p>\n
RUSH: The second time she was a victim of identity theft and hacking by a foreign government working with the director of the FBI to sabotage her campaign. And then there will be some derisive comments of Trump. But overall, her legacy is going to be one of the most sacrificing, one of the most selfless, one of the smartest, one of the most accomplished, one of the most caring people ever to walk the planet, with a list: She braved sniper fire in Afghanistan to try to bring peace!<\/p>\n
She worked hard in Libya, overthrowing a teapot tinhorn dictator in the effort to bring peace, sacrificing an ambassador even for the effort of making the Middle East a peaceful place. Mrs. Hillary Clinton devoted her life to people and peace. I can write this now and I can be damn close to what it\u2019s gonna end up being. And I guarantee you if you see it you\u2019re gonna throw up. They will not do the victim card. Hmm?<\/p>\n

RUSH: (interruption) How do they they handle Bill? Well, I guarantee you that in legacy writing, Hillary\u2019s gonna end up on a higher grade than Bill is, because Hillary is going to get credit for saving her husband\u2019s administration with her loyalty and her effort to discredit these evil Republican women who popped out of everywhere claiming that Bill had banged \u2019em. She\u2019s… I mean, she\u2019s gonna be a saint by the time they finish with this, and Bill\u2019s gonna be the guy who was a good president and he really cared.<\/p>\n
But, you know, he just couldn\u2019t keep it in his pants. And they tried as hard as they could to get a zipper that wouldn\u2019t open, but nobody could invent one. But Hillary, she did her best to keep the family together, keep the country together. If it hadn\u2019t been for her, who knows? I can just see all this now. Clinton\u2019s gonna be… He\u2019ll have a great legacy, but it won\u2019t match Hillary\u2019s. Okay.
